Happy Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes!
The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is very special to me because a close relative is alive and well today, I believe, having survived a major operation when she was a couple of weeks old – performed on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
What about you? Do you have any special tributes you would like to pay to Our Lady on this special Feast? Or would you simply like to wish your fellow bloggers and all our readers, a very happy Feast Day? Your call!

Happy Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes to everyone.
I can well imagine the prayers to Our Lady on this auspicious Feast Day for the success the operation that your relative needed at such a tender age. Our Lady truly answered those prayers.
We live in a time where Faith in miracles has little meaning and often laughed at. How many have happened at Lourdes and continue to happen we may never know, but here are two that are worth reading especially as not physical ails have been overcome but spiritual ones too.

Theresa Rose,
Many thanks for that link to edifying miracle stories of Lourdes.
Happy Feast day to you!
When I first saw the film, “The song of Bernadette” as a young lad of seven or eight,I was struck with a great love for Our Lady.
I really believe that there is something about that film that touches the soul in a supernatural way.
I think that every child should get the chance to see it. Our Lady has been powerfully present in my life, especially through the rosary.
Happy feast day Our Lady of Lourdes.
Tommy,
“The Song of Bernadette” was, indeed, a lovely and inspiring film. I didn’t think of it when posting this thread or I may have looked for a youtube clip to include here. Maybe later when I return to the fray – if nobody else has beaten me to it!
Happy feast day to you!
A very happy Feast day to one and all!
I hope readers will post favourite prayers, hymns etc. Or even sermons on Our Lady from reliable orthodox sources.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!
Happy feast day to everyone. Having lived in the Pyrenees for a few years I got to know Lourdes very well and I just love this feast. Can I ask everyone to pray for a very special intention? Whilst there I saw a black and white film which was made by amateurs using local people. It was the most inspiring film I have ever see. Imagine my chagrin when on last year’s visit to Lourdes the film was no longer showing and had been replaced by a Hollywood version.
Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us.
Please step in and sort out the tangled mess in which the Church has managed to get herself trapped.
I pray that CROFTERLADY’S intention be granted.
Happy feast day everyone. I hope this link works:

A happy feast day to everyone.
I’ve got very happy memories of my pilgrimage to Lourdes, some years ago now, but I still remember it vividly.
GreatPretender51, thanks for posting the Song of Bernadette. That is a beautiful film. The hymn to Our Lady at the top is also lovely.
A very happy Lourdes day to all CT bloggers. I love these dedicated threads, gives us a chance to thank Our Lady for her motherly protection.
Thank you for the lovely opportunity to express our love for Our Lady!
May I commend the total devotion of St Louis Marie De Montfort which you can learn about at this link http://www.fisheaters.com/totalconsecrationmontfort.html
Our Lady of Lourdes, health of the sick, please pray for us.
Beautiful blog! Beautiful videos!
I wish everyone a very happy Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
I have been to Lourdes quite a few times and I love it. The experience of the Baths is beyond description. I urge you all to go there if you have not been yet. Our Lady is very powerful!
Happy Feast day!
Five years ago Our Lady sent a message to me to say the Rosary daily. The method of her communicating this to me in the drive of my home in Bedford one morning utterly stunned me, because what happened that day was a miracle to me, it could only have come from Mary.
You must understand I was not one to say the Rosary at all. Now five years later I pray the Rosary twice a day at least for the salvation of those in need and the curing of the sick.
Thank you Our Lady for coming to me in an ordinary old Bedford village, that changed my prayer life and me as a person completely.
Sincere thanks to those who paid tribute to Our Lady of Lourdes today on this thread. I’ve been caught up with various things or I’d have looked in sooner. I’ve yet to visit all the links posted but I will do in due course.
We close by echoing Michaela’s prayer…
Our Lady of Lourdes, health of the sick, pray for us.
Thank you all – God bless.
