Homosexuality: Judge For Yourself…
There’s a “new kid on the block” in the form of what looks to be an excellent new website full of factual information on homosexuality. Below is the text from their home page. Check out the statistics – very interesting indeed, although not at all well known. I wonder why not?

The Catholic Church reminds us everyone is called to chaste “self-mastery”, according to our state in life, married or single, irrespective of sex, age or orientation. There is no discrimination in this call to self mastery, it applies to everyone.
In the face of a one-sided campaign by sections of the media in promotion of the same-sex lifestyle, this website presents facts, statistics and insight into the nature of marriage between husband and wife compared to other household structures.
Then you the reader can make up your own mind.

Hopefully, the faithful in Ireland will be able to put the information provided on this new website to good use as they continue to battle against the introduction of same sex “marriage” in their once Catholic island. St Patrick, pray for them!
Of course, the information provided on this new website, the studies and the statistics, stand in stark contrast to the propaganda peddled day and daily by the UK and Irish media. Why? Isn’t the media mantra that they are seekers after facts and truth?

I wonder how long before this great website is closed down by the oh-so ‘tolerant’ ‘LGBT’ lobby. Best download all the fact sheets and statistics now and save them to your computer or a memory stick, so if the website does get nobbled (and believe me, sound apostolates promoting the truth about homosexuality DO get nobbled) then at least you will have the facts and figures to hand in future, to help educate people.

Dear Patricia Thank you for this. I hope you are well. I was sorry to hear about your mother’s death. She was very blessed to have died at home and clothed in the brown scapular. I will pray for her. Thank you for that alert. Amazingly, I have just visited the website and clicked on the dropdown menu where I found the stats – the other items are there (e.g. same-sex studies) but the statistics link has gone. WOW.
Now, might be that the blog owner is doing some work or updating the page, but it is definitely not where it was originally when I posted the link, attaching it to the Statistics logo. WOW.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a link to contact the blog owners, something that drives me nuts. I usually have nothing to do with sites where there is no way to contact the author(s). I made an exception in this case, because it came to me via one of our most trustworthy researchers and bloggers.
There’s nothing we can do except keep an eye on the site to see if the stats page is reinstated. If anyone can find a way of contacting the owners, brilliant. Leprechaun is good at that sort of thing…

I have taken Westminster Fly’s advice and saved some of the relevant files. They should prove very useful. Certainly a bit of emailing, and printing and photocopying are merited.
With this country’s rejection of God and the constant, daily, wall to wall media agit prop for the Big Sodomy Agenda and the destruction of Holy Matrimony and the family, the subject of this thread calls to mind the following words of Sacred Scripture:
“My people have been silent, because they had no knowledge”(Osee 4:6).
No knowledge, and no leadership from the Shepherds, and no Faith or elementary grasp of divine and natural law.
Somebody here might be able to help with the exact words and citation, but didn’t Saint Thomas Aquinas write that when people turn away from God, there intellects become darkened, or disabled.
I think I read or heard the other day that Ireland is the first country to actually be institutionalising perversion under the name of “marriage” by way of referendum. There are no grounds for discussion here. If passed, this referendum will be national rebellion against Christ by public plebiscite.

It may be a temporary “disappearance” – and in any case, there is no immediate urgency. I’d just like to have a look at their stats at some point in my young(ish) 😀 life…

There is still an error message (404) showing when we click the Statistics logo/link, and I’ve not had a reply yet from them, so this is something of a mystery.
Thanks to Leo, I’ve now received a pdf copy of the stats, although not had time to digest them yet. Still, it’s a matter of some concern that the original page has disappeared.

I think so. It MAY suggest EITHER that the stats were not accurate and so have been removed by the blog owner, OR that someone has complained and they’ve been pulled although there is always a possibility of some technical problem.
One really doesn’t know, does one, in the absence of a reply to one’s very polite email to the blog owners. What one CAN say, with some certainty, however, is that the matter is a cause for some concern. Can’t one? May one? Shall one? Should one?

The Green Party is “open” to the idea of three-person marriages, Natalie Bennett has said.
Ms Bennett said she was “open to further conversation and consultation” about the prospect of the state recognising polyamorous relationships.
She made the comments in conversation with PinkNews, the LGBT website.
Dr Redfern Jon Barrett, asked: “At present those in a ‘trio’ (a three-way relationship) are denied marriage equality, and as a result face a considerable amount of legal discrimination.
“As someone living with his two boyfriends in a stable long-term relationship, I would like to know what your stance is on polyamory rights. Is there room for Green support on group civil partnerships or marriages?”
Ms Bennett responded: “At present, we do not have a policy on civil partnerships involving more than two people.
“We are, uniquely in this country, a party whose policies are developed and voted for by our members.
“We have led the way on many issues related to the liberalisation of legal status in adult consenting relationships, and we are open to further conversation and consultation.”
A Liberal Democrat candidate for Parliament recently disclosed that she is living in a polyamorous relationship.
Zoe O’Connell, who is running in Maldon, Essex against senior Tory John Whittingdale, was born male, and is in a relationship with Sarah Brown and Sylvia Knight, a married couple.

That is beyond belief. The Green Party seem to have no moral standards at all, not that the others are much better. I wonder if Cameron, Clegg and Miliband would say the same thing to the same question from the same community (LGBT). I think they would say exactly the same thing, namely, “anything goes” if it gets us votes.
I’m not surprised at all at the Greens’ attraction to such abominations. They are as close to Hell as you could possibly get: anti-family, anti-Christian.

I’ve just read this on the Tablet site and cannot believe it. When I saw the headline I thought it must be people guilty of homosexuality themselves but it’s the opposite. How can you bring a diocese into disrepute by preaching against homosexuality? I am not convinced about the excuse about “methodology”. That could be dealt with by a rap on the knuckles, not an order to leave. IMHO, the order to leave puts a big question mark over the bishop.

Some powerful studies on that site. I’m not surprised at the permissiveness and the violence within these sinful treaties. It is symptomatic of a disorder against nature. When you try to turn God’s natural order upside down, you have to deal with the punishments that are coming your way: in this life and the next.
