13 May: Feast of Our Lady of Fatima

13 May: Feast of Our Lady of Fatima

Note: somehow, when closing this thread, the text of the introduction disappeared.  Not sure what happened, but, for the record, the introduction highlighted the need to continue to pray and work for the Consecration of Russia.

Click here to read Pope Francis urging us all to pay close attention to Our Lady of Fatima. If only he’d do the same, and consecrate Russia !

That’s a very good point, Editor. Maybe he should focus on the woman clothed in the sun rather than wasting time thinking about women deacons!

Happy feast day everyone. Where does the music come from Editor? Sounds like the same soloist and organ as in the one you posted recently? Petrus was somewhat less than complimentary about the vocals, was he the organist I wonder?

Petrus is the organist, my Great Niece, Rebecca is the singer – she’s now at university working towards a degree in music. In the previous “The Sun is Shining Brightly” video same duo, except I spoilt it by joining in the chorus. We meant to re-record it but never got it finished. One of these days!

For future reference, in case you need a bigger chorus, I always sing tenor…..tenor eleven miles away….

        I’m a contralto – 20 miles away….

What a team – fancy America’s Got Talent? We could to the distance you know….

        RCA Victor,

No false humility now. Gregorian chant with an American accent – there’s just nothing to beat it! 😀

Singing tenor eleven miles away shouldn’t be any problem for a man with a big megaphone at his mouth. I’ve seen the record label!

By the way, a belated happy Feast to one and all.

The time is fast approaching for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We know this because of the feverish rush of the worldly powers in the past year or so to destroy what is left of the Christian family. And we see the efforts of the friends of these fiends, Church infiltrators, to put a positive religious spin on the work of darkness. Yes, Old Nick knows his time is running out.

I’m reposting this here, in spite of Editor’s grave calumny about me on the General Correspondence thread today at 12.55am. She will do suitable penance for that, in time. Trust me. 😀

Alice von Hildebrand sheds new light on Fatima:- http://www.onepeterfive.com/alice-von-hildebrand-sheds-new-light-fatima

By the way, I see that WAF seems to be a lot more active these days, which is cause for concern. They have written a piece in the latest Latin Mass Society magazine – carefully avoiding mentioning the fact that they think the 1984 consecration was the definitive one requested by Our Lady. I wondered if this was to snare the unwary. Traditional Catholics need to get behind the Fatima Network http://www.fatima.org

If anyone is in danger of being taken in by WAF’s stance, tell them to read Christopher Ferrara’s book ‘False Friends of Fatima’ – it is available free in its entirety online here:- http://www.falsefriendsoffatima.com/toc.html

The Consecration of Russia will usher in the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and it is our only hope now. As Our Lady said at Fatima – ONLY I can help you.

Please pray this prayer for the Consecration:-

O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, You explained why the grace of the Conversion of Russia and world peace will not be given to the world, until the Pope and Bishops have fulfilled Your command to solemnly and publicly consecrate Russia.
Help us to remember that You told us ‘I want My whole Church to recognise that Consecration as a triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Help us to understand that this grace of world peace is truly unwarranted by ourselves, and that You will grant it only through the merits of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Help us to do all that we possibly can to make this truth understood, loved and obeyed. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.

Imprimatur: Archbishop Benedict To Varpin. Madang, 7 March 1997

A happy and blessed feast day of Our Lady of Fatima to all of you!

I couldn’t resist the calumny but I know you really DO work hard, not just put on a show, I know that because of your frequent emails to me telling me you’re underpaid and could you have a rise for your excellent contributions to the blog. No question of false humility with you – oh no, by the definition “humility is a true appreciation of oneself” you’re about as humble as they come 😀

Thank you for re-posting. I’ll now delete the GD post because some numpty (think Crofterlady) is liable to go on and comment on the link there. Oops, I feel another charge of calumny coming on!

The 1P5 report is very interesting indeed, but when I got to the end and saw the statement about the Communist cardinals so emphatically given, and then the refusal to name them, I thought – oh gimme a break. It’s like the people I know who insist on telling me news about this or that and then refuse to give the key information which verifies what they claim. Why tell me the stuff in the first place? Notice this is all generic because in such cases, I put the “news” out of my head. I find it hard to believe that there is any reason to withhold that information, even if it is given in code. So, to avoid being hauled into court, it would be possible, one would think, to AT LEAST say, after refusing to name, “but I would, in any case, keep an eye on Cardinals X, Y and Z.” It would at least keep the lawyers busy.

Indeed, who needs a detective to work out that those in the Kasper Cabal – whether in the Bella Dodd time-frame or not – are not exactly whole-hearted, fully believing, committed Catholics. I mean, Miss Marple, or what?

I also chugged through the 1P5 article, but was immediately turned off by the waffling at the beginning about AL….a good impression of TIME Magazine-type obfuscation….and then turned off again at the conclusion of the von Hildebrand email – simply because there was absolutely nothing new about it, the article was all hype. This business of working directly with Cardinals while a Communist was also mentioned in Dodd’s book School of Darkness, and is there a single traditionalist left on the planet who didn’t know that “the Apostasy will begin at the top”?

        RCA Victor,

I agree, most of the article was old hat but it was interesting to read it all again. The IP5 articles are too long winded, as there is always a lot of introduction stuff, but that’s probably in case new people haven’t read it before.

        RCA Victor,

Yes, you’re right about “nothing new” but it was interesting just the same, didn’t you think …. I mean, do you EVER? Think, I mean?

        Kidding! Just kidding! 😀

Only when I’m trying to get more zeroes added to my paycheck! 🙂 Seriously, it was interesting, I was just irritated by the waffling on AL that opened the article. And you know what happens when we Italians get irritated…

      Westminster Fly,

Thank you so much for that post, full of very useful information. The WAF is obviously a false friend of Fatima if they are spreading the lie about the consecration being done. It’s as plain as the nose on any face that it’s not been done!

Happy Feast of Fatima to everyone!

I read the One Peter Five article and it is really interesting. This part of the prayer posted by Westminster Fly, really hit home with me – “this grace of world peace is truly unwarranted by ourselves, and that You will grant it only through the merits of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”

That should make Pope Francis think. His planting of trees with the leaders of Islam and Judaism won’t make any difference because it’s not the way God has planned it and neither will all the summits of world leaders.

It’s obviously what we’ve always suspected, that there are evil-doers within the Vatican itself who are determined to stop this Consecration of Russia. The Devil knows it will work and so do they. It’s unfathomable evil, really, IMHO.

Happy Feast of Our Lady of Fatima!

    Last year’s post:

  • RCA Victor

Chapter 4 of Chris Ferrara’s False Friends of Fatima is about the demise of the once-faithful Blue Army through – sound familiar? – a violation of procedural rules during its 1981 international assembly, which resulted in the election of Bp. Constantino Luna as President. A couple of excerpts:

In the July-August 1982 issue of Soul magazine, the Blue Army floated a patently fabricated “exclusive interview” with Sister Lucia, by an anonymous interviewer, in which she purportedly agreed that Pope John Paul’s consecration of the world in 1982 had effected the consecration of Russia because Russia is part of the world….Father Gruner’s apostolate exposed the interview as a fake in a series of articles in The Fatima Crusader…

In 1984, the then U.S. President of the Blue Army, Bp. Jerome J. Hastrich, announced a key development in the Vatican-directed campaign to “sanitize” the Message of Fatima by stripping it of its prophetic elements, especially the conversion of Russia, and reducing it to a call for personal prayer and sacrifice directed to individual spiritual advancement….

And then there is Chapter 14 of this book, “The World Apostolate of Fatima: Merchants of ‘Fatima Lite,'” in which Ferrara points out that the WAF has not only sanitized the Message of Fatima, but they have corrupted it by applying it to all religions, in conformity with the ecumenism/dialogue ruse adopted by the corrupt Conciliar hierarchy. People of any faith, according to the WAF, can pray the intentions of Fatima! And on and on it goes….where she stops, nobody knows….

    Shame on these despicable eunuchs!

    May 13, 2016 at 4:13 pm
    • Margaret Mary

      RCA Victor,

I am shocked at the WAF “sanitizing” of the Fatima message, to make it purely devotional. I wonder what their motive is?

As for applying the Fatima message to all religions – I didn’t know that before, but it is disgraceful.

I always recommend Fr Gruner’s (RIP) website, nothing else for Fatima.

Happy Feast of Our Lady of Fatima to one and all!

It is beyond belief that anyone would think the consecration of Russia has been done. Where is the world peace? I will continue to give WAF a body swerve – I agree that it is only http://www.fatima.org where the truth about Fatima is found.

I know this was posted on another thread but I love it and thought it would be good here as well. My favourite May hymn, “Bring Flowers of the Rarest”.

Happy Feast! Not to worry that it’s also Friday the 13th – unlucky for some! LOL!

The two videos with hymns to Our Lady are beautiful. My favourite is I’ll Sing a Hymn to Mary, so I must go see if I can find it on YouTube!

Wishing everyone a very happy 99th anniversary Feast day of Fatima. Next year who knows what will happen on this day? I’ve just read that there are now around 60 “genders”, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t some divine sign next year on this day.

Thank you Nicky. The hymns are all beautiful but none of them quite as beautiful as the plainsong motets IMHO. The trouble is that we have largely lost the art of singing Gregorian chant properly in our churches, and it is so good that choirs such as this one are safeguarding it for the future.

Yes 60 Genders and Obama on this day has now made it 61 but hey Am Free there all free to now decide in the great U.S.A on any day what they wish to be. As we say here –The Games a Bogey–.

Brilliant everyone! Thanks to all who posted hymns and Gregorian chant – I have a special love of singing hymns despite the fact that I’m never going to win the Eurovision Song Contest. That’s another reason why I’m voting OUT in the EU referendum – it’s biased in favour of those who can, well…er…sing!
