The Morality of WikiLeaks…editor
Whistleblower Julian Assange has given one of his most incendiary interviews ever in a John Pilger Special, courtesy of Dartmouth Films, in which he summarizes what can be gleaned from the tens of thousands of Clinton emails released by WikiLeaks this year.
John Pilger, another Australian émigré, conducted the 25-minute interview at the Ecuadorian Embassy, where Assange has been trapped since 2012 for fear of extradition to the US. Last month, Assange had his internet access cut off for alleged “interference” in the American presidential election through the work of his website.
‘Clinton has been eaten alive by her ambition’
‘Saudi Arabia & Qatar funding ISIS and Clinton’
‘Clinton made FBI look weak, now there is anger’
John Pilger: What’s the significance of the FBI’s intervention in these last days of the U.S. election campaign, in the case against Hillary Clinton? Source
The final words of the above interview are chilling. Yet, there will be many people who will hear the facts peppered throughout this video, and those concluding words, and still think Assange is The Bad Guy. What do you think?
Clinton is a liar through and through and also a hater of Catholics and The One True Faith. Anyone running for any office who says that us as Catholics will have to change our beliefs to suit them really says it all . The M.S.M are trying their best to and have tried their best to make this a walk in the park for Clinton. I was just off the phone to a friend of mine who hadn’t even heard of Soros backing for Clinton. The only place now to get the real facts is on the internet. I know their 2 bad lots but it’s Trump for me.
I don’t know what this man’s background is, but he is obviously highly intelligent, well in control of his emotions (esp. considering the conditions in which he lives and the obvious desire of “the establishment” to do away with him) (Hillary Clinton: “Can’t we just drone him?”), completely clear-headed, with a depth and breadth of knowledge about the sleazy underbelly of the NWO that is unsurpassed, and frankly, I think he is a hero. In fact, I would go as far as to say that he is Abp. Lefebvre’s secular counterpart in courageously standing alone against evil.
We as a group should undertake a Novena for him for his protection, and for the destruction of the machinations of the NWO in some specific way, but I don’t know which Saint we would appeal to,. (Our Lady? St. Joseph?) and what the specific intention would be.
I completely agree with you that Assange is a hero. But that’s not how he is portrayed by the British media. For one thing, I’ve never heard them say that he was already cleared of the sexual assault charges in Sweden or that the woman had admitted the police made it all up, the media in Britain have always just said that he is wanted for questioning in Sweden on those allegations. They are so very dishonest, and most people just accept what they are told, without questioning. It’s interesting that Assange was home-schooled, hence his independence of mind.
I doubt though if even this excellent interview will change minds. There’s something in the British psyche that doesn’t like whistleblowers, no matter what. If they were “whistleblowers (spies) against Hitler, that’s different. That’s a “respectable” cause, LOL! When it’s in the present time, however, and against the governments of the day, it’s like the biblical “a prophet is never recognised in his own country” sort of thing.
I was also interested in what he said about Trump not being “allowed” to be President that Clinton has all the forces of banking and companies etc behind her. That’s what I’ve kind of thought all along. It will be interesting to see what happens next week in the election.
Re the novena and appropriate saint. I wonder if St Gabriel, Archangel, patron saint of communications would be a good choice? I definitely agree we should pray for this man and his children. He must be suffering a great deal.
I was astounded at that video and the persecution that man is undergoing just for telling the truth.
I agree about the novena and wonder about one of the saints who was imprisoned, like St John the Baptist or St Paul? If we even all say a prayer to these saints, that would be good, IMHO.
You say the British psyche doesn’t like whistleblowers. You could narrow that down to the Scottish Bishops’ psyche when you consider what happened to Fr Despard.
I wonder what eventually happened to him.
Father Despard has appealed his case to Rome and is waiting for their decision. At least that’s what I read on this blog last time it was mentioned! LOL!
I wonder what eventually happened to him.
He is living in a flat in Motherwell, which the Diocese funds, while waiting for the results of his appeal to Rome.
The Fr. Despard controversy is a matter that I can’t comment on because I only have half the story. However, I agree about the Bishops’ psyche. They should all be whistleblowers on Pope Francis following his scandalous dalliance with Lutheranism.
As regards the interview with Julian Assange, I was shocked to the core by what he revealed. Reminds me once again of the truth of the old adage: “Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. Talk about a real manifestation of evil!
I don’t think we’ll ever hear the other half of the story.
I agree that it’s about time there were at least some of the Bishops getting the WD40 sprayed into their rusted whistles before it’s too late.
Our Lady prophesied that the consecration of Russia would be late but I’d be willing to bet that even She keeps looking at Her watch now.
I agree that Julian Assange is a hero, and also a martyr for the truth. I don’t think that the British people are biased against whistleblowers, but rather they’ve been “East Enderdised” out of their minds, and words of more than two syllables tend to be too much bother to understand, and that’s if they’re allowed to actually hear such words, but as our sterling press do their utmost to keep the lid of any actual news and feed us with celebrity “shocks” daily, there’s not much hope of that. I don’t think Trump will be allowed to win either, and I don’t think we’ll be “allowed” to leave the EU. This is a fight with Principalities and Powers, and the majority have lost the soldiering knack.
The latest Christian Order is entirely dedicated to Clinton, and it makes mind-boggling reading.
I am hoping against hope that October 2017 will bring us some long awaited encouragement.
I went on to the Christian Order website to see what you meant, and found this article (see link) and this particular extract is horrifying – I wonder how many people who are going to vote for Clinton, know this?
Each year, Mrs Clinton was “the reluctant” hostess of an Easter egg hunt at the Governor’s mansion. This included “a special hunt for the children who were in some way developmentally challenged.” Though she spent (misspent!) a lot of time at the mansion with Bill during Hillary’s mysterious regular absences over the years, Kyle, a lawyer, was not present at this event herself. She heard the story confirmed by several sources, including an Arkansas friend (Louise) who is a long-time advocate for the state’s intellectually handicapped; another lawyer; and “a couple of the troopers who were present for this particular Easter Egg Hunt.” She explains that the handicapped children “were naturally slower than the first group”:
The day was quite warm, as is common in Arkansas in the spring. Despite the heat, the children were having a wonderful time.
But they were having a v – e – r – y, v – e – r – y, v – e – r – y s – l – o – w time of finding and picking up the Easter eggs.
Hillary had enough. She stomped across the grass up to the shaded veranda on the back of the mansion (this was before the huge addition), and accosted one of the troopers. At this point, the story diverges a bit. Some people said that there was an open microphone; others said that Hillary could be heard across the yard because she was yelling. It’s a toss-up in my mind, although I personally favor the “open mike” version, which is what Louise told me.
At any rate, the frustrated Me-First Lady demanded, “When are they going to get those f***ing ree-tards out of here?”
I am truly shocked at this. She is a really horrible character.
Beggars belief! I think she’s a despicable woman who belongs in jail.
Yes, horrifying, but that was the last edition. The latest is even worse.
The problem there is that CO doesn’t go online right away – I’m not sure when the November edition will go online but I suspect it will be some time yet, probably once the print copy has been despatched to the four corners of the earth.
The October editorial is to Rod’s usual high standard. Thoroughly documented – you won’t catch him taking Hilary White’s word for anything!
That video was a real eye opener to me. Poor man. How about a novena to St. Thomas More who was both an eloquent lawyer and a prisoner and martyr for the truth?
I must admit that I know very little about Assange. I didn’t ever pay much attention to the news about him. However, as a result of this thread I have started to do some research.
All any of us have known until now is what the corrupt media want us to know. I always suspected there was another side to the Assange story and now I am confident that my gut instinct was correct.
For example, for all we hear about batting for the UN, the rule of law, blah blah, here’s what we find on Assange’s Wikipedia page:
“The United Nations’ Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found, by a majority, that he has been “arbitrarily detained” and that his detention should be brought to an end; Then UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond rejected the UN ruling, calling Assange a fugitive from justice.”
Personally, I don’t need to do any more research; there was no dissimulation in that interview – Assange came across as honest and intelligent; not vengeful or exaggerated in any way. Quite the reverse, calm and at peace. I have no doubt that the New World Order brigade will have their own version, but in my considered view – Assange Vs The Establishment? No contest!
What did you think of the interview? How did he come across to you?
I hadn’t really paid attention to what the corrupt media had said about Assange so I had to do a bit of background reading on him, hence the need for more research. I wasn’t suggesting you had to do more.
Now that I have an idea of what he’s about, I will watch the video. More on this later….
I didn’t think you meant I had to do more research – I realised I didn’t know anything about his (possible) religious beliefs, so I went Googling to find that out. I think the interview speaks for itself, but will be interested to read your verdict.
PS – I couldn’t find anything on religion for him, so I presume he’s not committed to any Christian group. More likely than not, secularist/humanist/atheist. I’d be interested if others know differently.
A few more things:
1. I think it is quite intriguing, to say the least, that Assange applied for and found asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy – Ecuador, home of Lady of Good Success, and Garcia Moreno!
2. I made up a Novena Prayer, please use as a dartboard (i.e. improvements welcome):
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Lady of Good Success, may Thy Heavenly Light descend upon and protect Julian Assange, his family and his assistants as an invincible cloud, and may the silver lance with which he has pierced the belly of the dragon drive ever deeper, so that the foul guts of the beast are spilled for all the world to see. In the Name of The Father, The Son and of the Holy Ghost, Amen.
3. Editor, if you approve of this little project, give us a start date…
I do approve. Certainly. Perhaps we could add Lily’s suggestions to your prayer by concluding: “St John the Baptist, pray for him… St Paul, pray for him.” AND Helen’s excellent suggestion of St Thomas More, also held prisoner.
There’s the problem of the time difference between you in the USA and us lot over here, but I say we begin a novena using your prayer tomorrow, 7th and finish on Tuesday, 15th November, Feast (in traditional calendar) of St Albert the Great, Doctor of the Church, with the addition of the invocation to the two saints suggested by Lily plus Helen’s suggestion of St Thomas More and Laura’s suggestion of St Gabriel, Archangel. If this is all acceptable, I can go into your comment and add the small litany to the prayer. Then we can begin tomorrow.
I considered writing to Mr Assange – I was very impressed with his interview, and it might be good to let him know that. However, on Googling for contact details, I discovered that he cannot be contacted directly and – reading between the lines – doesn’t really want a lot of mail from people he doesn’t personally know. Enquirers are urged, rather to organise protests, financial support etc. So, let’s just pray for him. Maybe our novena will bear fruit sooner rather than later.
On the site where I had hoped to find contact details, there were a handful of comments from supporters but then this:
“… I was in the same space as you a few years ago and am glad that I grew out of it. I am deeply disappointed in Mr. Assange and WikiLeaks. I do wish the best for him as far as health and safety… and that he is treated in a humane way.”
Now, what was the point of that? Why not say WHY he is “deeply disappointed” blah blah, and explain in what way he “grew out of” supporting someone who is, in effect, a political prisoner… I’d like to have known that, wouldn’t you? Instead, we get a smart-alec comment, self-serving, apparently aiming to make himself/herself look mature and the rest of us daft kids. “Respect everyone’s opinions”? You kidding? That sort of non-statement is meaningless. If he knows something that the rest of us don’t know, which puts Mr Assange in a different light, then he/she ought to share it. Numpty!
How about this, will check back later to see if any other changes:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Lady of Good Success, may Thy Heavenly Light descend upon and protect Julian Assange, his family and his assistants as an invincible cloud, and may the silver lance with which he has pierced the belly of the dragon drive ever deeper, so that the foul guts of the beast are spilled for all the world to see. St. Michael, pray for us! St. Gabriel, pray for us! St. John the Baptist, pray for us! St. Paul, pray for us! St. Thomas More, pray for us!
In the Name of The Father, The Son and of the Holy Ghost, Amen.
That’s fine. We’ll begin tomorrow, even if only thee and me!
That sounds like a run for cover by someone who has been successfully intimidated into withdrawing support.
Between the interview of Mr Assange by John Pilger, and the editorial in the Christian Order about Hilary Clinton (what an nasty woman) it seems that Hell is being let loose on earth. God help us all, if she gets her way and is elected.
Yes, I like your Novena too. Maybe St Michael the Archangel could be added too.
A friend at Church mentioned this morning after Mass that she had read an article that Clinton was a priestess in some satanic group, and that this information was based on the Wikileaks information. I hadn’t come across that one, though it would certainly fit the behavior pattern. Has anyone else heard of this?
No, I’ve not heard that. Wouldn’t take the word of someone in a chat, however… especially if her name is Hilary… !
Found this online – a word of warning – contains offensive material
What I find amazing is that it has taken so long for our dear Editor, and all the above erudite bloggers to “find” Mr Assange.
But then when most folks rely on the biased BBC and the corrupted Main Stream Media for their daily dose of ‘news’ it does not surprise. Without wishing to sound smug, I have got my daily dose of real news from Breitbart London for many a day. If it were not for my Sainted wife, the Cathode Ray Tube would have been in the skip ages ago.
If more people were to look up The Club of Rome. George Soros, Agenda 21,The Bildenberg Group and the good old Masonic order, and not forgetting the UN and the IPCC, then the scales would be removed from their eyes.
We should pay careful attention to Julian’s final words – Trump will not be allowed to win.
I have just been reading one of my (other) favourite Catholic Bloggers – the great William Briggs (Statistician to the Stars!)
I would urge some of our readers to pop over to his site and have a gander at some of his stuff.
He can be found at wmbriggs.com
At the bottom of his pages he links to Father Z (the ex Lutheren), and Big Pulpit as well as The Stream. all good sources of interesting Catholic news links.
If you think you have seen everything, prepare to be shocked by one of Briggs articles on Satanism and Cannibilism associated with Mrs Clinton’s pals. We should avail ourselves of the internet whilst we can, as most people may not be aware that Paraic O’Bama has just given control of the World Wide Webb to the UN. So goodbye to the remnants of free speech on line.
I hope our editor does not mind me using up her valuable space to link to ‘rival’ websites, but I seriously believe that the future of humanity hinges on the upcoming US election.
Yes, it is important to remember Mr Assange in our prayers, and whilst we are at it, we should pray for the conversion of George Soros’ Pope.
Your opening words surprise me. I’ve known about Julian Assange for a very long time but could hardly link to an interview which has only recently appeared. And, in case you may not have noticed, we’ve been too busy keeping up with the words and actions of the worst ever pope in history, to follow the fortunes of political prisoners, however worthy. That is the work of A.N. Other. Catholics actively working for the restoration of the Catholic Faith in Scotland and the wider UK are rather MORE thin on the ground than political activists – again, in case you haven’t noticed.
I can’t think of any “rival” websites – clearly you do not understand our purpose, if you think that I would object to anyone linking to other websites of interest. However, I’m not a fan of the conspiracy theory websites, and we do not intend to become bogged down in party politics. We do discuss moral issues on a regular basis and as long as we don’t get sidetracked by daft claims of a double for Sr Lucia, another double for Pope Paul VI and other such silly distractions, I’m perfectly happy to check out other websites – with the definite exception of sedevacantist sites.
As for your concluding opinion that “the future of humanity hinges on the upcoming US election” – you need to read up on the Fatima Message http://www.fatima.org because that’s not what Our Lady said. She promised a period of world peace when the Pope, in union with all the bishops of the world, consecrates Russia to her Immaculate Heart. Until THAT happens, the future of humanity is certainly in doubt.
So, never mind praying for the conversion of “George Soros’ Pope” – just pray that something triggers in his soul to bring him to the realisation that he must consecrate Russia, as prescribed, and then, all these other things shall be given unto you!
Yes, those NWO groups are all familiar (and let’s not forget the Council of Foreign Relations, which is the American branch of the Royal Institute of International Affairs) (and also the Tavistock Institute!), however….I’ve found that to dwell on these satanic groups and their interlocking power is counterproductive, and puts one in danger of becoming another Bishop Williamson. That is, someone so bedazzled, obsessed and hypnotized with the power of the enemy that he forgets his faith and the power of God…and even, like another Denethor in Lord of the Rings, becomes utterly impotent.
As for Father Z’s blog, well….no thank you. I will check out William Briggs, though, thanks for the tip.
You’ve articulated my own reservations about those NWO sites perfectly. Well said.
Editor and RCA VICTOR,
that is more or less what i was referring to above in William Briggs’ blog.
A very interesting post with some handy links to research, thank you. If I may correct you on one point, though, it is that Our Lord has control over the destiny of humanity, not the US. I have thought right from the outset that Trump would never be elected, the establishment will see to that. But then, maybe Our Lady has other ideas. After all, we were never supposed to get Brexit in Britain. There is a definite feel in the air that the corrupt institutions are beginning to crumble!
As per latest Christian Order:
The first anecdote, completely ignored and buried, was related by Larry Nichols during an interview with Infowars: I know about once a month Hilary would go out to Los Angeles. And she did it so regular that it became a bit of an issue. Why is she always going? Bill told me she was going out there, she and a group of women, and she would be part of a witches church. And man, when Bill told me that, you could have hit me with a baseball bat. I tried to point out to him, do you realise what would happen if that got out? ‘Course my job was to make sure it didn’t get out. Now, I don’t know today if Hilary still partakes in the witch ritual. I don’t know that I even know what the ritual was. But, for the better part of many years, Hilary would go quite often, whether as regularly as once a month or once every couple of months, she would go out of a weekend, simply to be a part of it.
Complementing this revelation, is a recently 14 October post by Fred Martinez of the Catholic Monitor blog. During an interview he conducted with Kathleen Willey, for her book Target, on her sexual accusation and the ensuing cover up, he related that “David Shipper, chief investigative counsel of the House Judiciary Committee, recalled a priest came to see him after the [1998 Presidential] impeachment, who said he was an exorcist. The priest said to him “there are Satanic influences in the White House, and they all want you out of here.” “Yes, Bill Clinton is a bad guy.” Shipper acknowledged. “No, hot him,” the priest said, “her”. Martinez then asked Willey: “in your book, Shipper said he thinks Hilary “is evil”. What do you think? Willey responded “I can’t disagree with that analysis. If I could exorcise the Clintons from my life, I’d be happy to do so.”
I’ve just read right through the October editorial which Lily linked above. Unbelievable stuff in there. Rod really does his homework. If even a quarter of that were reported in the mainstream media (pause for raucous laughter) that woman would not have a snowball’s chance in Hell of getting elected.
At first I wondered if Hillary’s “witch” meetings were the infamous Bohemian Grove occult gatherings of the NWO heavies, but upon looking it up I see BC is in northern California, not near LA.
LA may as well be another Bohemian Grove, though, considering the filth of Hollywood.
Here’s the latest proof that the fix is in for Hillary: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/2016/11/06/fbi-not-recommending-charges-over-new-clinton-emails/93395808/
I’ll bet the FBI Director is going to face a mass mutiny over this.
Yes I wonder how the FBI managed to read thousands and thousands of the new email in a week? That’s a definite fix. It’s a true say, the devil looks after his own.
RCA Victor and Laura,
I agree with both of you. I find myself dreading the outcome and possible consequences following this election.
This is a Sunday sermon a call to pray for America.
Thank you Theresa Rose – will listen to that sermon later, as I will listen to the message below from Donald Trump to Catholics later…
And this, from the Remnant –
On eve of the election, Pope Francis stumps for Hillary
Shocking beyond words.
Breaking News –
the Swedish prosecutor is to interview Assange at the Ecuadorean embassy on the 14th November.
Why does the media continue to peddle the lie about Assange being under investigation for rape allegations when we know that’s not true? He was acquitted years ago and the woman in question said the police had made the allegations up. It’s all on the interview above on YouTube.
I’m not sure where to post it so I’m posting it on 2 threads. Editor, please feel free to reomove one of them.
I’ll leave it on both threads as it suits both. Pope John Paul II said the same thing; in fact, he said words to the effect that no Catholic may vote for a system that legalises abortion – I’m sure it was in Evangelium Vitae but I’ve just taken a quick look and it is far too lengthy for me to read it through again now – if anyone else can find the statement, please post it here. It seems the only logical course anyway; if it is moral and licit to vote for a government that legalises the killing of the unborn, it really can’t be that big a deal, killing the unborn.
At your service, ma’am:
That article seems to be saying the usual, about not voting for pro-life candidates. But it’s not the candidates who can change the law. It’s the government of the day, so I thought Editor was saying that JPII had said we cannot vote for a “system” i.e. a government, that permits abortion.
IMHO, that is the logical consequence of what JP II and that priest are saying, but I got the impression Editor was saying that JP II had actually said those words “cannot vote for a system that allows abortion” and I don’t see it in that article. I’ve not read the encyclical, though, so I could be getting ahead of myself, LOL!
So far this is the only “possible” piece from E.V that I can find:
In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to “take part in a propaganda campaign in favour of such a law, or vote for it”.98
This fellow, recommended by Waterside4, thinks Trump will win, and in fact, he has claimed that since January! However, he still thinks we are “doomed”…at any rate, this fellow is very interesting, as well as somewhat amusing.
Hmmm…. Birds of a feather flock together!?
If I had suspicions before about this woman and her party, this article confirmed them.
Facebook backlash as Scottish First Minister Sturgeon backs Clinton
I’m very glad to read the comments on your link Gerontius. Wee Nicola has some cheek endorsing Clinton but as you say, births of a feather, blah blah.
My knuckles are much better tonight thank you Editor (and RCA Victor), but may I please come down from the naughty step?
Yes – I do believe that our Blessed Lord has the future of mankind in his loving care, not the United States.
Yes – i am familiar with the Fatima message
No – I am not a conspiracy theorist.
Yes- I do believe that there is evil incarnate abroad in this world, mainly manifested by the likes of George Soros and his ilk.
Yes – I do think that us old Catholics are badly served and scandalised by our spineless religious leaders all the way up to the Vatican.
Yes – I subscribe to the theory that a person should be as widely read as possible in order to formulate ones opinion on what is right for body and soul, and also to ascertain what views the enemies of God are using to usurp my beliefs. Therefore i do not dismiss websites which may not be flavour of the month with some of my acquaintances.
Yes – I have been a follower of Wikileaks for the best part of 10 years going back to the exposes of the Afgan, Iraq wars and The Climategate scandals.
Yes – i used to be a cynic, now I am just a mature realist at the age of 74.8.
Seeing as your estimable bloggers have some links to the great Michael Matt website, I think someone could read the ‘Soros/Clinton/Vatican Partnership’ article by Elizabeth Yore at The Remnant, and then come back and tell me I am lacking in religious knowledge, or away with the faeries.
Yes – I am far from perfect and a great sinner, but try not to be nasty to anyone.
I’ve just checked back and every single comment responding to you has been respectful and, in fact, grateful. Bloggers have expressed gratitude for your links. So what ARE you on about?
I note two things about your visits here. Firstly, you take long breaks from this blog and then return to insult us. Then – when you get (almost) as good as you give – you disappear again in the huff for another spell of nursing your wounds. Secondly, nobody has said you are “lacking in religious knowledge or away with the fairies.” You may be, but nobody here has said so. Psychologists say, I believe, that when we accuse others of thinking x, y or z about ourselves, it’s because WE see it in ourselves. Reflect.
You (very rudely) wrote:
“What I find amazing is that it has taken so long for our dear Editor, and all the above erudite bloggers to “find” Mr Assange.

I replied simply to say: “Your opening words surprise me. I’ve known about Julian Assange for a very long time…” A polite response to your very rude opening words. Because you DID sound smug and you – yet again on this visit as in previous visits – seek to make us all out to be less than intelligent. I’m sure we’d all heard of Assange – I have followed his case with a lot of interest, and thus, when I saw this latest interview advertised, immediately set my machine to “record”, so I am somewhat irked to find myself effectively labelled an ignoramus who relies on the BBC for information.
You also wrote:
“Yes – I am far from perfect and a great sinner, but try not to be nasty to anyone.”
I’m afraid to say you ARE nasty – to us. You appear to interpret the exchanges of opinions, clarifications and so on, as personal attacks, so it may be that blogging (or any other kind of discussion) is not for you. I note you disclose your age, but, for fear of being accused of “ageism” I refuse to make any connection; however – whatever the reason – your speedy descent into apparent anger at any comment which does not simply endorse what you have written, suggests that you do not fit the “blogger profile”.
Now, to save you the time and energy of yet again leaving with drum-roll and drama, don’t worry about wasting your precious time and superior intellect with the likes of us. We’ll just mosey along in our dosey fashion, managing as best we can to keep up with the 21st century news broadcasts from all sorts of sources, including the BBC – well, they did invite me on a couple of times – can’t be all bad… 😀
PS you are welcome to prove me wrong about the drum roll and drama by sticking around and participating in our discussions, minus the personal remarks. Just add to the discussion from now on – do not continue with distracting personal remarks. Please and thank you!
I hope you will join in the Novena which we started today, for Julian Assange.
The fact that Donald Trump will be US president, against all odds just goes to show that Almighty God is still in control. “He has torn down princes from their thrones and exalted the lowly” Maybe not quite the correct passage from the Magnificat but the general idea is the same: pride comes before a fall. All the great plans of the great men of this world come crashing down at the hand of Almighty God. I am thrilled that THAT woman will not be president.
Me too. I’m so glad to have been wrong in my expectation.
Spiritus & Therese,
I’m also glad that Julian Assange was wrong in saying Trump wouldn’t be allowed to be President (well, we have a way to go before he is installed as President, but he HAS been elected), so thank God for that. There are times when we are all glad to be wrong and I’m sure that will be the response of Assange to this news. I shared his cynicism and I’m delighted to have been proven wrong. I was sure they would fiddle the vote, somehow!
To see what America has escaped, read the November editorial in Christian Order.
Note: the October editorials on the same subject (Hillary Clinton) are also worth reading – very much so.
Unbelievable! That woman is such a demon. To think that she destroyed the lives of so many people, especially the man in the President’s Travel Office. And what is worse is that so many people think that she is so wonderful. At my workplace they were all livid that she wasn’t elected. As good as saying that the American people are mad (insane) not to have elected her. All the media is the same.
The majority these days are just media-led non-thinkers.
I remember listening to a discussion among the media elite on Radio Scotland just prior to the election which saw Obama in the White House. They raved about the prospect of having a black President, and then one of the journalists sighed and said that if he didn’t get elected that would just prove that America was still racist… ! No mention of his policies, or anything remotely serious like that, just his colour. Brain dead journalists forming the thinking of a brain dead public.
This video link is a what might have been in the American election.
Thank you – am going to be away from my computer for a bit now but will watch that later. Looks interesting.
