The media in the UK is 100% agin Donald Trump. The hatred of him coming from TV news broadcasts is palpable.
But why? IS it because he is seeking to improve security by imposing temporary restrictions – his spokesperson insists there is no “ban” and only a very small number of people have been detained as part of an attempt to review security. So, what’s really going on here?

Ed I also signed said petition for him to come . As I watched last week all those Anti Life Protesters marching against Trump it was obvious why they hate him . A march they said was for Women’s Rights yet all they done from Madonna to Ashley Judd were to denigrate women with their so called Pu–Y Hats . What didn’t surprise me was that one idiotic Priest wore one whilst saying Mass . You just knew someone in our clergy couldn’t let that chance pass them by . President Trump is vilified by so called Celebrities when he defends the Christian Right to enter first into a Christian Country. There’s one good thing for me that’s come out of this and that’s the BBC ain’t getting no more of my money. The only thing I watched was football on the Pro Homosexual Pro Muslim Anti Catholic BBC . So when I saw Gary Lineker at Londonstan March along with other ridiculously paid BBC presenters there License Fee from me is finished. God Bless. J . D.
I signed it too although I do not live in Britain any longer. Being a British citizen I am entitled to vote. The thought came to me…how much longer are you Scots going to count as being British?!
JohnR, There is no country called Britain, that the name of the island (or more correctly Great Britain to distinguish it from Lesser Britain AKA asBrittany) and therefore even if Scotland was independent we would still be British just as Norwegians, Swedes and Danes are Scandinavians.
From what I have read, the Feminists would not permit the Pro Life Feminists in their ranks at these marches. So much for Tolerance, Diversity and Equality. All women are equal but NOT women who speak out about abortion. You see this on BBC debates, Loose Women and so forth where they ALL support abortion and continually lead opinion in the media that only bigoted/Catholic people (i.e thick) would support Pro Life issues.In fact the number of (so called) celebs these days are quite happy to prattle on about their abortion(s) almost as a rite of passage is sickening.
The petition is over 196,000 now, almost 200,000. Hurrah!

IMHO, I think it’s his prolife stance that is maddening the liberals, not the immigration thing.

It seems that the three great ‘sacred cows’ of modern day liberals are: (a) the LGBT issue, (b) ‘climate change’ and environmentalism, and (c) paradoxically and suicidally, the defence of Islamism. The devil knows what offends God, and effectively wrenches souls away from Him, and this is why he invites people to support these things, because they are either (a) sins against nature, (b) worship of creation as opposed to the Creator, and (c) diabolically inspired heresy. Trump has no particular relish for (a), and has made it quite clear where he stands on (b) and (c) so that is why the liberals hate him. Have got to keep this clean (unfortunately). Just read Nigel Farage on the Hypocrite Londonstan Mayor . The Moslems don’t need to impose a Ban on their Countries. If they think that anyone except another Moslem would even set foot in any of their countries they’re smarter than I thought. Maybe though if Khan thinks that these countries are liveable, why doesn’t he ask them to take in their Mpslim Brethren, after all he could set it up easy enough. Yes. No No. Ah thought so.
It would be nice if he could visit Stornoway (where his Mum comes from). I wonder what the odds of that are ?
Thanks Vianney. You do realise that I added that bit “tongue in cheek”! Of course there is no country called Britain although we citizens of the “country” are called British! I have always treasured my British citizenship even though I have a second citizenship which is Australian. I was thinking only today that I have just tipped the half-way mark and I have lived in Australia just that bit longer than I have lived in Britain (although it doesn’t exist)! Given my age now, I suppose that I was born in the one and will die in the other. I would prefer to be buried with my parents but I think that their grave is full and I certainly do not want to be cremated.
I know that I’m changing the subject but my mind goes to G.K. Chesterton:-

Anybody notice that this counter-petition hasn’t rated even a mention on the TV news? The anti-Trump bias is scandalous.
The so called, self appointed Powers That Be, just cannot handle any form of disappointment in their selfish little world as we have discovered with Trump and in the case of Brexit. In the past the EU forced the Irish to keep revoting to to accept the Lisbon Treaty. You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. Joe Public has told the Ruling Class to get stuffed.
