Scottish Government To Impose Named Person Scheme – And Too Bad About The Will of the Scottish People!
Controversial plans to bring in a “named person” for every child in Scotland have been delayed for a second time as the Scottish Government announced it will bring in new legislation on how and when information on youngsters should be shared. Deputy First Minister and Education Secretary John Swinney [pictured] said the proposed new laws would be brought before Holyrood before the end of June. That would allow for a timetable to be drawn up to bring in the named-person service – which will appoint a single point of contact, such as a teacher or health visitor, to look out for the welfare of all children up to the age of 18 – in 2018. The announcement of new legislation comes after campaigners against the scheme brought a successful challenge to the UK Supreme Court. Judges there ruled last year that elements of the policy were ‘’incompatible’’ with the right to privacy and family life as set out in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)…
Conservative MSP Liz Smith asked Mr Swinney why the scheme was going ahead and not being abolished entirely. “Every single opinion poll that has been conducted on the named-person policy shows that a majority of the public and a very large number of the practitioners who you mentioned in your statement do not want named persons,” she said. Despite the fact that a majority of Scots not only did NOT vote to remain in the EU last June, the leadership of the SNP insist on bleating about the “will of the Scottish people” being denied due to Brexit.
Yet, they have no problem denying the will of the Scottish people in the matter of the dreadful Named Person Scheme which is effectively a means of spying on family life and making sure that the SNP politically correct “values” (i.e. immorality) are being upheld across the nation.
Action! Contact your MSP here to keep up the pressure – MAKE the point that they use the “will of the Scottish people” when it suits them albeit using misleading statistics, but ignore our will when that better suits their highly questionable agenda. That’s terrible news that they are pressing on with the scheme, after the Supreme Court said it was the kind of scheme you’d find in a totalitarian regime.
I don’t care how they tinker with it, it’s intrusive and the ideological agenda is clear. Just imagine a kid in a classroom discussion saying they didn’t think his mum and dad approved of LGBT+++++ activity. Named Person on the doorstep, pronto!

Did anyone notice how, when John Swinney was challenged about the upper age limit being 18, he conveniently forgot that these same 18 year old “children” (and younger) are considered adult enough to vote. Right yeah, children when it suits them and adults when it suits independence votes!
Am really surprised that this Reprobate Scottish Parliament which has more than it’s fair share of out of The Closet full on Homosexuals has the time to even implement any decision,but I can fully understand why they want this . Our children are there bread and butter as they see it . Am actually sure if Sturgeon calls her favourite saying Indy Ref that they’ll bring down the voting age to 14 . Now that would really suit them as then of course the age of Sexual Consent would be lowered,let’s face it as far as this lot are concerned it’s probably around the 12 to 13 age mark anyhow. Now with this Facist Legislation and that’s exactly what it is they are probably even thinking of Votes for Nursery with the kids going along to polling at the same time as their 2 Dads or their 2 Mums or 2 Super Genders . The SNP also denied the will of the Scottish people when a majority rejected “gay marriage” via their online consultation. It seems a good many of the Scottish people will soon be obliged to open their eyes and realise that the SNP couldn’t give a hoot about the will of the Scottish people, which it touts merely to reach its ultimate goal to separate Scotland from the UK.
This Named Person business is nothing more or less than State control of the nation’s children, a robbing of parental rights under the pretext of child welfare. Hitler did the same thing, as did Stalin. It’s simply their way of propagandising children from the youngest age with the liberal world vision, a vision that excludes God amd sexual morality.

Yes, I remember well that it took me two hours to complete the online consultation. Most of the time was taken up with answering the same questions over and over. They were re-worded every time to try to trick you into saying yes to “gay marriage”.
We were discussing this topic at our SWRI group and the general opinion is now very anti SNP. These were people who, on the whole , were behind the SNP, pro independence and anti Brexit until fairly recently. The general consensus was that the SNP are not respecting the democratic will of the electorate and that they also are portraying a frightening fascist mentality.
I say bring on Indy 2! The SNP are in for a shock! I think their popularity is mainly in the working class (pardon the stereotyping!) central belt which, as far as I’m concerned, is almost a different race. I see no empathy with them in the north and north east except in pockets here and there.

I’ve been following the Scotsman blog on the Named Person fiasco and the numbers of people coming on there protesting against the SNP is incredible. They really have lost the confidence of the Scottish people big time. Indyref2 would see them utterly humiliated and that’s why they will never call for it. The SNP know their days are now numbered. Problem is: what will we get in their place? Scotland needs a Donald McTrump or a Nigel McFarage!

I’ve just found this petition for Nicola Sturgeon to stand down – I urge everyone to sign. In the space available to comment (if you wish, not required) I mentioned both her deceit in claiming that a majority of Scots voted to remain in the EU referendum, when that is not true, and her disgraceful Named Person Scheme – an effort to take State control of the minds of children.

But do a majority of adults actually support the SNP? I wonder how the voting system works for the Scottish Parliament – is it the same as the first past the post system for Westminster?
The voting system means that a majority of people might not be represented – it’s a weird situation, but I don’t think it’s likely that a lot of people support the SNP, not after reading all those negative comments on the Scotsman blog, tons of them!

The voting system for the Scottish Parliament is the Additional Member System. In an election using the Additional Member System, each voter casts two votes: a vote for a candidate standing in their constituency, and a vote for a party list standing in a wider region made up of multiple constituencies. It is a classic ploy on the part of collectivist elitists (that is, secret societies, their central banks, and the socialist bureaucrats and politicians they pay to do their will) to tout the “will of the people” when it suits them, and to run roughshod over it when it suits them. In other words, they couldn’t give a hoot about what the people want – if the people oppose them they will figure out a way to get their schemes accomplished.
Reading this, I’d say that America is not the only country with a “deep state” and a “shadow government.” Very interesting, though, that you hear these phrases commonly used now on conservative radio talk shows over here, whereas before they were only the stock-in-trade of “conspiracy theorists.”
BTW, the same thing has been happening in the Catholic Church since Vatican II, one of whose major pillars was highlighting and improving the role of the faithful. That, as it turned out, was just a ruse for deconstructing the Faith and the Church – moreover, there was no movement among the laity for such an “improvement.” In fact, there was quite a bit of opposition, from what I understand.

I couldn’t agree more – the “will of the people” is only useful when it’s the same as the politicians’ will. I think a good example of this is Theresa May, supposedly a “remainer” yet she is doggedly pushing to trigger Article 50 for Brexit (and thank the Lord for that!) but I think is shows more that she was a secret “leaver” and the result of the vote suited her. I’m not complaining, though, LOL!
I do agree with you also about the reforms of Vatican II being a ruse to deconstruct the Faith and the Church, without a doubt.
I hope, fellow Scots, that in all discussion about this latest publicity stunt by Mzzzzz Sturgeon, that she is plotting a second independence referendum, that you will all remember to remind your friends and relatives that Mzzzzz Sturgeon wasn’t remotely bothered about the will of the people in the matter of the Named Person Scheme and that the very fact that this evil scheme is being pursued, should rule out any question of giving these SNP tyrants any more power over us than they already, tragically, possess.

There are TV (and probably other) media people camped outside the Scottish Parliament thanks to this latest neverendum threat. They ALL uncritically accept the “fake fact” that a majority of Scots voted to remain in the EU.
In the hope that one or many of you can take a walk along there to tell them the truth, I thought I’d post the facts here below, from a letter written by our very own Athanasius, and published in the Scotsman…
“In fact, that 62 per cent [the SNP speaks of] was 62 per cent of the 2.68 million who actually voted, not 62 per cent of the 3.98 million Scots who were eligible to vote.
In reality, then, only 1.66 million of almost four million Scots voted to Remain in the EU while just over one million voted to Leave and 1.3 million (33 per cent of the population) didn’t bother to vote at all. This significantly alters the intensity of what the SNP calls “the voice of the Scottish people”

If I lived over there, I would go along myself, so don’t mean to burden anyone. Just an idea I had when watching the news – it can’t be impossible to have a quick word with the journalists off camera. ON the news, we see people walking by and cycling by, so worth a try, folks.
