Happy Feast of Our Lady, Virgin and Queen, everyone!
Due to the Conference on the 13th May, I think I forgot to post the Fatima hymn on that day (although we did sing it at the end of the Conference); better late than never, here it is.

What a beautiful hymn to Our Lady of Fatima. It’s lovely to end the month of May with such devotional hymns.
This is a beautiful version of a beautiful hymn. If only every church had such a great organist!!!

Naughty! For those who are not “in the know”, Petrus played the organ for that rendering of O Come To The Throne of Grace which was sung by my Great-Niece.
I wish all and their families a grace-filled Feast day. What a great Feast it is.

Although I’m Ukrainian Greek Catholic, I still pray the Rosary. However, after announcing the mystery, I use Scripture verses or propers from the Divine Liturgy as a meditation. Examples:
First Glorious Mystery (Resurrection): Christ is risen from the dead, conquering death by death, and to those in the tombs bestowing life. (Paschal Troparion)
Second Glorious Mystery (Ascension): Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; above all the earth be Your glory. (Psalms)
Third Glorious Mystery (Pentecost): Your good Spirit shall lead me into the land of righteousness. Alleluia. (3) (C.f. Psalms)
Fourth Glorious Mystery (Assumption): The grave and death did not detain the Mother of God. She prays perpetually and is our unfailing hope of intercession, for He Who dwelt in the womb of the Ever-Virgin transferred to life the Mother of Life. (Theotokion, Tone 2; also the Kontakion of the Dormition [Assumption]).
And if you want a REAL treat, try this:
Who would not call you blessed, O Virgin most holy?
Who would not sing a hymn of praise
to the glory of your giving birth without pain or travail?
The Only-begotten Son Himself,
begotten of the Father before all ages,
was made flesh out of you in a manner
that cannot be explained, O Woman most pure!
And for our sake, He Who is God by nature
assumed the nature of a man.
He is not divided into two persons;
He is understood to have two natures
without commixion or confusion.
O noble and blessed Woman,
intercede with Him that He may mercy on our souls.
(This is from last Sunday’s Vespers.)
When I was younger, we had a service called Moleben. We sang both responses:
O Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
O Most Holy Mother of God, save us.
May She keep all of us under Her Holy Omophorion!

That is a lovely post. I’m interested that you say you”still pray the Rosary”. Don’t all Ukrainian Greek Catholics pray the Rosary?
