By far, my favourite news anchors and political ccommentators are those across “The Pond” in the U.S.A. And my all-time favourite is Tucker Carlson. Watch the hilarious interview below, to see why…
As our regular bloggers know, every now and then we take a rest from the serious stuff and enjoy a “good clean fun” thread where we post jokes and entertaining stories/videos. This is one of those “fun” threads, in the midst of the serious topic threads, although there is a serious note to be struck with regards to the media, generally so easily fooled by nonsense “news” (think transgenderism, among other things.) Tucker is never afraid to challenge the politically correct and other nonsense – and this interview is no exception; tell us what you most enjoyed about it.

I’m glad you posted this, Editor, because lately I’ve wondered if Donald Trump’s victory was not an unforeseen “accident” after all, but part of the NWO plan. I say that because his election has given them the perfect anarchist/Bolshevist opportunity to tear America apart, because now they have a high-level target – in fact, the highest secular target in the USA – whom they can smear and threaten on a daily basis with fake news.
Tearing America apart has been, after all, the strategy of international Communism for a century or more. So now all the subversive mercenary groups that were established during the Obama administration, funded by George Soros, have been fully activated to perform their paid violent missions. Groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter (and let’s not forget CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator in Muslim Brotherhood terrorism….though they are probably not on Soros’ payroll). These are the mercenaries who were active in Charlottesville, Virginia. I also wonder if anyone has compared the present anarchist activity, including the pulling down of allegedly offensive statues from America’s past, to the Chinese Cultural Revolution under Mao. It’s precisely the same thing.

Hey, they don’t teach Scottish history these days, let alone American! Actually, the children I help home-school are using an American programme (Seton) and they DO study American history so I get to learn some, as well – and it is very interesting indeed. My teenage great-nephew is working on a research paper on George Washington and I get to check it out for English – spelling is a challenge since we keep having to write defence instead of defense and so on. Still, the topic is really very interesting,
And maybe one of these days we’ll do a study on why mothers pick the strangest names for their children – I mean, I love him to bits but… TUCKER? 😀

It seems madness to want to get rid of all those statues. Like it or lump it, history is there. I am amazed at all that violence going on and yet there is no real in-depth conversation about it here. Thank goodness for YouTube!

I agree. The statues and other evidence of discrimination against blacks/slavery etc. are there as a reminder of what has gone before, not a glorification of it. In fact, without tangible reminders like those statues, the whole sorry history of slavery might soon disappear from memories – and history books. The protesters are short sighted, but then, I do not believe that they are genuinely concerned about racism, they are troublemakers, beginning and end. Maybe if we start telling these nuts that the brain is an app they will start using it.

We have been lied to for a very long time – it seems since before pre 20th Century. Did you know the first slaves in America were Irish? Also sent to the Carribbean and treated worse than Blacks. Good point. I’ve seen some of those scenes of statues being pulled down and I keep wondering why, since there was a black President for 8 years in the USA, they didn’t go after those statues during that President’s term of office. What’s going on, precisely? If President Obama, didn’t see fit to order all such statues to be binned, why should they expect Trump to do so?
The whole “racist” thing is nonsense, underlined by the fact that Black Lives Matter advertised a social event of some kind to which whites were not invited. On the contrary, they were asked to stay away. And another college or university had a “white absence” day (if my memory is correct) where, again, white people were asked to stay away. That’s a strange kind of anti- racism platform from which to lecture the world on the evil of racism 😀

I’ve read reports that Hilary and her friends are behind this unrest, that paid groups have been formed to start a race riot that the press can then use to undermine President Trump. Sounds about right to me.

Victor that was my first thought when I saw Statues being pulled down and of course knew that Our Religion under attack from Outside and Inside will be the next . There was one Statue of Our Lady pulled down in Ontario. Of course the Police said it wasn’t a hate crime as basically it wasn’t against Islam . Also young men went into a Catholic Church In Canada and disrupted Mass again not a hate crime but had they gone into a Mosk ( and no I have not spelt it wrong) all Hell would have been let loose. On a Brighter Note it is Homosexual Pride Day in Glasgow tomorrow I pray that there will be Many Rainbows. In the Sky of course.

The interview with the hoaxer was really brilliant. Tucker Carlson is great at his job. I wish we had him in Scotland.
The stuff about the statues is just ridiculous. I hope all those who have destroyed statues are arrested and charged with malicious damage.

Watching their antics, one silly female climbing up to the top of a statue, I couldn’t help thinking that if ignorance is bliss, these clowns must be the happiest people on earth.
I loved the Tucker Carlson videos – the hoax one was a scream.
This thread made me think about jokes about the news. Here’s one. The evening news is where they begin with ‘Good evening’, and then proceed to tell you why it isn’t.

I loved the Carlson videos as well especially the hoaxer interview, but there is a serious issue about media to be taken from these videos, which is, there just isn’t anyone in the UK media who would dare to probe interviewees the way Tucker Carlson does – even Jeremy Paxman, who was supposed to be the really strong interviewer, used to let people off the hook if they skirted round his questions. He’s retired now, and there’s nobody replaced him on Newsnight, except a string of lightweight presenters, like Evan Davies, Emily Maitlis etc – in fact they’re all lightweight on Newsnight, and James O’Brien who takes the show occasionally, is always angry or unhappy looking, maybe to give the impression that he’s pushing his interviewees, but he’s completely politically correct, as they all are, so there’s really nothing in the programme to compare with what the Americans can get on their news programmes.

Don’t get too enthusiastic about American journalists on Fox News. Fox News is known as a “relief valve” to students of the NWO. That is, when public pressure builds to a certain point for real news, as opposed to the usual diet of fake news, then a minimum amount of truth is offered, such as Tucker Carlson and some other personalities like Sean Hannity (who also has his own radio show).
However, you won’t see Fox News ever dealing with the fine print – i.e. the underlying issues – of American/world life, such as: what is the Federal Reserve system and who controls it? Who are the Freemasons in key positions in government? Who are the members of the Council on Foreign Relations, what to do they do and how do they do it? What is the agenda of the Bilderberg meetings? (The agenda of the most recent one featured an intriguing item called “Donald Trump: a Progress Report.” But allegedly no notes are ever taken at these super secret meetings).
So while Tucker Carlson may be refreshing at a certain level, he is essentially just an appetizer, while the real meal is somewhere in the deep freeze.

I take your point, but I’ve been watching some Tucker Carlson videos and he really stands head and shoulders above any of the media people here, because of his lack of political correctness. I LOVED that video. Brilliant. I take RCA Victor’s point that Tucker is an exception, more or less, but since we don’t have ANY such exceptions, it’s refreshing to watch him at work.
I’m also reliably informed that he has been married to the same woman for around 30 years and they have four (I think) children, so he’s definitely quite exceptional by UK standards.

I hear what you’re saying (!) but what you need to understand is that Tucker Carlson would be sacked in less than 5 minutes if he aired on any TV show over here. You say that Tucker is allowed in order to give the “minimum truth” but we don’t get even that! You would NEVER see an atheist grilled in the way Tucker grills the woman in Margaret Mary’s video. Just wouldn’t happen.
Every news reporter on every channel on every programme, whether news bulletins or alleged discussions/newspaper reviews, takes it for granted that the LGBT etc “lifestyle” is perfectly normal and natural and anyone who is opposed to it is “phobic” – whether homophobic or transphobic. There is just nobody challenging that agenda at all. Nobody. And, again, nobody would dare to suggest that there is anything wrong with an atheist bullying a whole town over a park bench! So, leave us with the slight consolation that somewhere, albeit thousands of miles away, there is one journalist who does challenge the PC view of the world. Don’t burst our bubble… Know what I mean?

The Left did not invent Islam. Read The Great Heresies by Hilaire Belloc. According to Belloc, the ideological roots of it are the early Christian heresies, Judaism (even though the Quran specifically condemns both Christians and Jews) and paganism.
