Consecrate Russia Now! Contact Pope Francis – Urgent Action Required!

Updated | Claiming that some Americans are preparing for a coming war with Moscow, Russian state-owned television explained to the country’s residents how to stock their bunkers with water and basic foodstuffs in case a war breaks out.

Warning that the potential conflict between the two superpowers would be “catastrophic,” an anchor for Russia’s Vesti 24 showed off shelves of food, recommending that people buy salt, oatmeal and other products that can last a long time on the shelves if they plan to hide in a bunker. Powdered milk lasts five years, while sugar and rice can last up to eight years, the newscaster explained before showing videos of pasta cooking in a bomb shelter.

The beginning of the program had a mocking tone about war fears, as pictures of nuclear explosions played in the background. A newscaster said the “real panic isn’t here but across the ocean,” suggesting that Americans are terrified of a war with Russia. Comment:

Time to call out Pope Francis’s disgraceful failure to consecrate Russia as detailed in the Fatima apparitions.  Catholic Truth is urging all our bloggers and readers/visitors to this site to use the means of communication available to contact the Pope today to urge him to obey Our Lady’s exhortation to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart.  Below, a template letter for those who would appreciate some help in penning their email or letter.  To contact Pope Francis either email the Vatican’s press office at av@pccs.va [Ed: this doesn’t work  – sorry]  or  write to him via the postal service, as follows:  His Holiness, Pope Francis PP. 00120 Via del Pellegrino. Citta del Vaticano.

Template letter

Your Holiness (or Dear Pope Francis),

In light of the increasingly grave geo-political situation, where the possibility of imminent nuclear war is currently the subject of much open commentary in the secular news outlets, I respectfully write to request that you set out the means by which the Bishops of the world will join with you in consecrating Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as Our Lady requested through the Fatima seer, Sister Lucia.  As you will know, following the initial apparitions in 1917,  Our Lady reappeared to Sister Lucy on June 13, 1929 at Tuy, Spain, when in a great and sublime vision representing the Blessed Trinity, she announced that “the moment has come for God to ask the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the Consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart. By this means, He promises to save Russia.”  Our Lady promised that this Consecration of Russia would result in a period of world peace

Clearly, the previous consecrations of the world by your predecessors have not satisfied God’s plan of salvation.   Far from enjoying world peace, we are increasingly threatened by the danger of nuclear war.  God wishes Russia – the first nation on earth to publicly disown the very existence of God and to embrace atheistic communism – to be consecrated, by name, to His Blessed Mother, and if we are to avert the danger of all-out nuclear war, this Consecration must be fulfilled.

I urge you, therefore, Holy Father, to make the necessary practical arrangements to pray this Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with the world’s bishops, as a matter of the utmost urgency.   You alone, out of all the prominent religious and political leaders in the world today, hold the key to world peace in your hands, by virtue of your unique office.    Yours etc.

Finally…

If enough letters/emails are received at the Vatican, it just might make a difference. Certainly, in supernatural terms, it will make a difference because God is never outdone in generosity and He will reward our efforts with grace, that’s for sure. So,  feel free to use, amend or discard the above – but please DO write: we cannot simply lament the Pope’s neglect – we must make sure that we are not guilty of neglect of duty ourselves, and we do have a duty to do everything in our power, by prayer and all the practical means at our disposal, to remind him of the importance of the request from Heaven to consecrate Russia to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart.  Over to you!

Immaculate Heart of Mary
pray for us!

I’ve just had my email returned to me by mail delivery service, and a quick Google doesn’t throw up any other email for the Vatican Press Office, so I’m afraid it’s back to the postal service. Sorry about that, folks.

I also meant to emphasise the importance of NOT writing “Rome” or “Italy” on your envelope, as it may not get through. The Vatican is an independent nation, completely separate from Italy.

Some time later (6pm to be precise!) …

I’ve now printed off my letter, enveloped it and have it ready to post tomorrow. And just as I was closing the envelope, I noticed right beside me, or close thereto, one of the small Fatima cards with the picture of the Tuy vision on the front and the warnings about not consecrating Russia on the back. Needless to say, I enclosed that with my letter. Can you believe that? What am I like?

Well, how long does it take to copy and paste that letter onto a Word document, insert addresses and walk to the Post Office? Consider it done! It’s a great idea and I hope it bears fruit.

The fact that the Pope hasn’t already had the “brainwave” of consecrating Russia in these days of nuclear threat, speaks volumes, either about his lack of faith or his lack of intelligence – or maybe both?

Sorry if that’s a bit near the bone but if any of us held that power in our hands, to bring world peace about, wouldn’t we be downright stupid not to do whatever it takes? And it only takes a short prayer, for goodness sake!

Yep, problem now his bishops around the world would just snigger at Fatima these days. If the Pope doesn’t believe in Hell, then he can’t take Fatima seriously…..anyway the Vatican Fatima Situation in 2000 was a tissue of lies that we can all see for ourselves and don’t forget Cardinal Ratzinger had read the secret and never corrected the year 2000 caper. Cardinal Bertone has since then tried to shut us all up about Fatima.

It could have been done years ago.

        St Miguel,

None of that excuses us from doing all that we can to effect the consecration of Russia. I hope you will write, since it’s been made so easy for us to copy and paste the letter.

Mine will be in tomorrow’s post.

      • Petrus

        St Miguel,

Whether the bishops take Fatima seriously is neither here nor there. All that is required is for the Pope to command that all the bishops of the world perform the Consecration with him. If they choose not to obey, it would not invalidate the Consecration.

The Pope is the central figure in the Consecration. Only HE can end the crisis in the Church and in the world. I think often of St Jacinta’s tears and laments for “the Holy Father”. Many people believed that she had seen a suffering pope of the future. However, I now believe St Jacinta saw the crisis and saw the terrible popes we’ve had since the Council. She may have seen Pope John Paul II kissing the Koran and standing with every heretic and schismatic under the sun at Assisi. Her cries of “poor Holy Father” May have been for a future pope who had lost the Faith. I think we have all seen that now with successive popes.

As for “it could have been done years ago”, I would change “could” to “should”! Our Lady did say the Consecration would “be late”. We know that Our Lady said to Sr Lucia in 1929:

“The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. So numerous are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me, that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.”

Successive popes have had not only the opportunity, but the grave duty, to perform the Consecration. It is surely a gross dereliction of duty for them to refuse to do it. Pope John Paul II had 26 years! To think that he would be “canonised” a few short years after his death when he steadfastly refused to carry out Heaven’s command! Shocking!

As for recent events concerning Russia, we know that Our Lady warned of the “annihilation of Nations”. Therefore, if Pope Francis continues to ignore Heaven’s command then we shouldn’t be surprised if a terrible chastisement comes our way. This is the reason why I object to “Idiot Trump” etc. The politicians may manage to avoid a global catastrophe this time, time will tell, but only the Pope can bring about lasting peace.

The Church’s handling of Fatima has been a disgrace. If the Mother of God appeared with instructions, who in their right mind would not jump through hoops to carry them out at once?

I can understand why the contemporary modernist hierarchy are not interested in the consecration – they are too busy demolishing the faith. But I can’t understand why the better Popes – Pius XII and earlier – did not do it. Although I do not ponder it too much, given Our Lady said it would be late.

The modern Church has very much “moved on” (run away!) from Fatima. Growing up in the novus ordo environment I had never even heard of the apparitions, which is quite remarkable given their gravity.

The modern hierarchy seems to be having some perverse game to consecrate everything they can to Our Lady, except for the one thing She asked for (Russia). It’s just ridiculous.

Likely ecumenism is one of the barriers to the modern confused Popes doing what was asked – they don’t want to offend the Russian Orthodox. But if I was the Pope, I would ask their Bishops to participate too – thus getting the consecration done and encouraging schismatics back into the fold at the same time.

You would think even the modern, cynical, faithless hierarchy would do the consecration, even if only to shut up people like us, eh?

      Gabriel Syme,

I think Pius XII thought he’d consecrated Russia, not realising he had to have the bishops doing the same thing at the same time. I read that somewhere, so I think he’s off the hook, at least he didn’t decide not to, the way John XXIII and the others have done.

I couldn’t agree more with your final sentence – I keep saying that myself, LOL!

      April 12, 2018 at 10:21 pm
      • Petrus

        Laura,

I’ve never read that Pope Pius XII “thought he had done it”. I also fail to see how he didn’t realise he needed to have the bishops do it with him. Sorry, but I don’t buy that at all.

We will never know for certain why Pius XII refused to carry out the Consecration properly. The same can be said of Pius XI and Benedict XV. My only guess is that either they didn’t have the courage to do the Consecration or they genuinely thought a later pope should carry it out. Perhaps they thought it tied in with the significance of 1960 – the latest the Third Secret should be released? I don’t know.

        April 12, 2018 at 10:31 pm
      • Laura

        Petrus,

I think I got mixed up. I’ve just Googled why Pius XII didn’t consecrate Russia and found this on the Fatima.org site:

” Interestingly, only Pope Pius XII’s consecration of the world in 1942 included substantial involvement of the bishops. Sister Lucy has written that this imperfect act of obedience, while not fulfilling Our Lady’s Fatima request, nevertheless hastened the end of the Second World War, thus sparing the lives of tens of millions of souls.”
        http://www.fatima.org/essentials/facts/consecra.asp

So, maybe that’s what I remembered, that he was the only pope to include most of the bishops in his attempt, although, again, it was a consecration of the world, not Russia. Sorry!

        Michael Ezzo,

Thank you for that offer of the card containing Fr Gruner’s consecration prayer. However, it might be simpler if you just type out the prayer here on the blog for us. I could perhaps use that sometime in the future to kick-start a discussion. If it’s not too lengthy for you to type, and you don’t mind, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, too, for sending the letter to the Vatican – that’s wonderful.

I hope you don’t mind if I prefer to send by regular mail. It is extremely long…..it would take almost five minutes to pray, and probably 20 (for a person with my typing speed) to type out. My eyesight and tendency towards nausea from computer typing also make it rather unpleasant. But I promise to send it immediately upon receiving your address either via mail, or my e-mail address (which, as I said last time, I permit the Editor to send you). My apologies to you and the Editor for the lack of fortitude….

I was unable to copy it from the scan to paste here, so have copy-typed it onto a Word document – I will try to check it for typos as I quickly read it through now, but if I miss anything, I will correct later – it’s been an exceptionally busy day today, so apologies in advance if there are any typing errors:

Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, although it is over 80 years ago that thou first came to Fatima, we hasten today to come before thee. We prostrate ourselves at thy throne of grace and we seek to fulfil, as far as we are capable, all that thou hast so graciously requested when thou didst visit the Church Militant in thy Fatima apparitions.

The abominable sins of the world, the persecutions waged against the Church of Jesus Christ, still more the apostasy of the nations and of Christian souls, and finally the forgetting of thy motherhood of grace, by a great number, grievously wound thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, so united in its compassion to the suffering of the Sacred Heart of thy Divine Son, Jesus Christ.

In order to make reparation for so many crimes, thou hast asked for the establishment of the reparatory devotion to thy Immaculate Heart; and with the purpose of ending the punishments sent by God that thou didst foretell, thou made thyself the messenger of the Most High to request of the Vicar of Jesus Christ, united with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to thy Immaculate Heart. Alas, thy message has not yet been fully taken into consideration.

This is why, in order to hasten the happy day when the Sovereign Pontiff will accede, at last, to the requests of thy Divine Son, without ascribing to ourselves an authority that does not belong to us, but penetrated with solicitude for the condition of the universal Church, by a humble supplication addressed to thy Immaculate Heart and united to all faithful bishops, priests and believers, we are resolved to respond for our part to the requests of Heaven.

Deign then, O Most Holy Mother of God, in the first place, to accept our solemn act of reparation that we present to thy Immaculate Heart. We offer it to thee in reparation for all the offences by sinners and unbelievers, which most certainly deeply offend thee and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In the second place, as much as it is in our power, we give, deliver, and consecrate Russia to thy Immaculate Heart: we implore thee, in thy maternal mercy, to take this nation under thy powerful protection, to make of it, thy domain, where thou reignest as Queen, to make of this land of persecutions, a “vessel of election” and of blessing. We beseech thee that thou make this nation submit to thyself so well that, converted from its “legal” impiety, it may become a new kingdom for Our Lord Jesus Christ, a new inheritance for His sweet sceptre, and having returned from its ancient schism and come back to the unity of the one fold of the eternal Shepherd, and thus subject to the Vicar of thy Divine Son, may it become an ardent apostle of the social Kingdom of Our Lord Jesus Christ over all the nations of the world.

O Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, we implore thee furthermore to manifest to the world the truth of thy universal mediation of grace by so brilliant a miracle of thy suppliant all powerfulness. Deign at last, O Queen of Peace, to bring to the world the peace that the world cannot give, the peace from weapons and the peace for souls, the peace of Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of Christ; and the Kingdom of Christ through the reign of thy Immaculate Heart, O Mary. Amen.

Some people – members of the militia immaculatae – will no doubt receive this information via email, but I am posting this excerpt for the benefit of those who might not be members:

    From the email:

    ————
This is surely the time for the Holy Father to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in accordance with her precise wishes – namely, all the bishops, and in union, and for Russia specifically. This has not been done before despite claims to the opposite from the Vatican.

Father Stehlin invites us all to register with his initiative called M.I.2 — Mission for Russia and this is how it should be done:

To join M.I. 2 — Mission for Russia, please state your declaration of joining, full name, country of residence, e-mail address, and a promise to pray every day for the intention of the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and email your request to:

    info@militia-immaculatae.asia

Fr. Stehlin also encourages you to read further information on the multi-language webpage dedicated to the M.I. – Mission for Russia at this address:

https://consecrationrussia.org/2018/04/13/insufficient-consecrations/#more-346 and to download the double-sided flyer in English at this link:

    https://consecrationrussia.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/mi_2_russia_en_st_fl.pdf

There can be no doubt that the need for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has never been greater.
    —————-

Fr Stehlin is a real powerhouse with his initiatives and writings. I recommend his books about Fatima too.

Yes, we seem to be at the point where we are surrounded by pathological liars in every position of power. We have been continually lied in to war after war. We cannot believe a single thing we are now told in the media or by so called Intelligence experts, who keep popping up on the tv news, usually retired (has been) military men.

Coincidentally we have this John Bolton who is ‘advising’ Trump right now.

        Look HIM up on Wiki!

This chap has been trying to jump start wars for decades.

If you see the most recent stuff on Syria, Russian whatever we are now looking at a situation much worse that Kruschev and Kennedy in 1962.

America is threatening to blitz Syria, where there are embedded Russian military. Russia is an ally of Syria and INVITED in to the country by Assad. The West have no right to be in Syria.

Russia is threatening to strike back and sink Western ships/shoot down planes etc.If and when they strike Syria it becomes an act of war.

If one single Russian (or Iranian) is killed by the West, Russia will retaliate and we are in World War 3.

UK and France desperate for a slice of the action, try out new weapons etc.

Notably German is NOT getting involved..nothing from NATO either.

Ordinary folk can see what is looming but NOT the current Pontiff, who seemingly cares so much about mankind and the planet and can do but one simple thing and WILL not budge.

What we are witnessing seems to fit the messages of Fatima and dare I say Akita.

Fire from the sky, nations annihilated, the living will envy the dead etc etc.

So this is surely the time for the Consecration and it is already late !

      RCA Victor,

WOW! I really like Tucker and he’s helped clarify this Syria set up for me. As you say, I’m beginning to agree that it’s a “phony set-up”. What I don’t understand is, why?

I’m concerned now that Russia is going to retaliate over today’s news of a USA/British/French attack on chemical weapons’ targets overnight. They are threatening to do so. This could yet lead to WWIII – and I’ve no doubt that would be nuclear. What these politicians will have to answer for, God help them, but it’s nothing compared to what the popes are going to have to answer for, for not consecrating Russia by now – it’s been a while since 1929, they can’t pretend they’ve not had time to reflect and act. .

Michaela, hence my reason for pointing out war hawk Bolton, who gleefully admits to lying to get the best deal for his country. They have no compunction in lying. The CONSTITUTION no longer applies to the Political Elite, therefore that is how we were lied in to the Iraq war on the basis of LIES about WMD’s.

None of us can figure out who is telling the truth, we can’t even get the POPE to answer yes or no questions.

Does anyone remember the gassing of the Kurds by SADDAM and who sold them the chemical weapons?

Joe Public has short memories and they are plied with bread and circuses, another World Cup, Commonwealth Games,Olympics, Royal weddings, pop stars and fashion.

I guess the problem with The Constitution is that it is man made and not remotely based on the laws of God. The United States of America was created by Freemasons and the Consitution reflects this. So, it is very easy to ignore, or misinterpret, a man made document.

The United States of America is rotten to the core (no offence to our American bloggers). Don’t get me wrong, the United Kingdom is just as corrupt. In fact, I think Western Europe will be judged more severely as we have had the Faith and rejected it. The USA, as a nation, didn’t ever hold the Catholic Faith, but Europe did.

What you say Petrus is correct. I see today that three nations are now scrabbling to find a legal construct to retrospectively underpin their Syria excursion. Sophistry and legalese gymnastics at an Olympian level. The UN OPCW were supposed to be going to Syria today to confirm the recent event, but alas the UN is another toothless tiger.

This reminds of the theological gymnastics at play viz the Congregations of XY and Z at the Vatican playing neuro linguistic programming/deconstruction in speech for the pew dwellers and expect us all to swallow their poison.

I have also posted my letter to Pope Francis. Thinking today that the Pope had asked Cardinal Policarpo to consecrate his papacy to Our Lady of Fatima back in 2013 – Yet, will not ask his Bishops to join him in Consecrating Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary – he is not alone in that score. There is nothing to lose in carrying out this Consecration and everything to gain by doing it.

Atheistic Russia has spread its errors throughout the world – but, will Russia be the means of physical chastisements such as war, because the country has not been consecrated.

      Theresa Rose,

Great that you posted your letter today. Mine today, and with WF that makes at least three from the UK. Very pleasing.

As for the rest of your comment – what’s to disagree with, she said most ungrammatically!

Count me in as I will be writing my letter to Pope Francis today.

Each one of us has a solemn obligation to defend our Catholic faith. Saint Thomas Aquinas tells us, that it requires us to correct Bishops and Cardinals or even the Pope in public, if that were necessary.

The whole world is in apostasy and this has invaded the church.

God has provided the only answer and that is the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, there is no other way we must obey.

I don’t think it will make any difference in practical terms writing go this terrible pope but, of course, is worth the effort for supernatural reasons.

The latest news about strikes on targets in Syria by the UK, USA and France just brings the possibility of nuclear war with Russia, closer.

Nobody should be surprised that the so called “deterrent” nuclear weapons turn out to be no such thing. There’s never been a weapon of war invented that wasn’t used, to the best of my knowledge.

So, yes, I will be doing some stocking up!

Watched the Jingoism/machoism in full swing as the media interview a rear admiral in full dress uniform with the usual ‘paint colour chart’ on his chest blowing his trumpet and the cameras turn to a newly hoisted flag on bridge of his ‘big boat’ which says…. ‘Give ’em ‘ell’.

It is a game or a sport to these people. Sick of watching jumped up psychopaths being given airtime continually, as they parade in front of cameras wearing more and more badges on uniforms and more and more stars on their collars to justify and legitimise their thirst for killing somebody, somewhere.

They seem to think they are stars in a Hollywood movie.

This is going to end tragically, the genie is out of the bottle now.

Laughable in the extreme – the pope’s plea for peace to political leaders (if only they knew!)

    From Zenit:

“I am profoundly disturbed by the present world situation, in which, notwithstanding the instruments at the disposition of the International Community, there is difficulty in agreeing to a common action in favour of peace in Syria and in other regions of the world.,” Pope Francis said April 15, 2018

“While I pray incessantly for peace, and I invite all persons of good will to continue doing so, I appeal again to all political leaders, so that justice and peace prevail.”

The Holy Father’s peace appeal came after praying the noonday Regina Coelia in St. Peter’s Square with the assembled crowd. And it came just days after an international coalition of France, Great Britain, and the United States launched missile attacks on Syrian government bases when it is suspected that chemical attacks on civilians originated. Source – Zenit Emphasis added.

Well? Did you keep a straight face?

Reminds me of Morecambe and Wise, where Ernie who thought himself as a playwright, would say ‘this is my latest play, the best one wot I ever wrote’.

Just another meaningless mumbo jumbo fog of words from the Pope.

        St Miguel,

Well said! You are so right! Pope Francis is a one-man comedy act, or he would be if the matter was not so important. HE holds the key to peace, and he must surely know that!

It’s hard to believe that Pope Francis could make headlines like these, and will the penny isn’t dropping.

Our letters will be arriving this week so let’s pray that he gets to see at least one of them (mine! 😀 )

Well, this is just incredible, the pope seeing a federal Europe as being the most important thing (not a Christian Europe, as previously!)

“European nations will move “if they realize one truth,” Francis said, “either Europe becomes a federal community or it will no longer count for anything in the world.”

      He is hopeless, completely hopeless.

So he is STILL talking to Scalfari, his atheist buddy, despite the dangers of being misquoted by a 93 year old journalistic hack who can remember everything without notes. The same guy who tells us the Pope doesn’t believe in HELL and causes a furore and the Vat spin doctors try to insult our intelligence with sophistry and non-denials…..same guy…surely not ?

      Incredible friendship.

And he worries about the G20, the poor blah blah…wonder if he will ever mention the Bilderbergers eh?

It is food for thought that Archbishop Nassar of Syria and his brother bishops made a public Act of Consecration of Syria to the Immaculate Heart of Mary back in 2012 – a copy of the prayer used is here: http://www.xt3.com/wyd2013/library/view.php?id=10654 and yet look at what has happened to Syria since then. It has been decimated. I think this suggests that all these other consecrations are not necessarily going to have a positive effect any more. The only consecration that is going to bring world peace now, is the one requested by Our Lady at Fatima, i.e. the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.

That’s very interesting indeed. Thank you for that thought-provoking information. Looks like Heaven is about as fed up as the rest of us with having every country in the world, just about, consecrated to Our Lady EXCEPT Russia, as requested!

Hopefully the above link will display properly (not sure if I have “done it right”).

Incase it doesn’t: Fr Kevin Cusick (an American priest) states that a prominent American prelate and ally of Francis (Surely Cupich?) has stated that Cardinal Burke would be elected if a conclave were held today.

Personally I think Cardinal Burke has rather diminished his own standing via failure to follow through on the dubia, but even still he is likely one of the better candidates for the next Pope.

Personally I think the Cardinal’s would choose a middle-ground candidate, whose Papacy would be held up as the great return to orthodoxy.

      Gabriel Syme,

Personally, I think Cardinal Burke would not make a good pope. He’s shown that he holds the same “diplomacy” credentials as the rest and I can’t see him sacking dissidents around the Vatican (let alone the world) – we’d get exactly what we got with Benedict, the odd slap on the wrist for the bad guys quickly followed by a muffled apology and reinstatement if they had been removed from post. He’s a weak, if well-meaning character, and we need (and deserve) better than that. It’s proving to be a very long wait!
