English Bishop Outed as LGBT Supporter: Speaker at Quest Conference

English Bishop Outed as LGBT Supporter: Speaker at Quest Conference

Bishop Doyle of Northampton was featured with a list of known “gay” activists to speak at a Quest Conference, 10th – 12th August 2018.  Click on the image for details.

Don’t be misled by the “Pastoral Support for LGBTI Catholics” baloney. The members of Quest are Catholics who fit the Vatican’s 1986 warning, perfectly.  In his Letter to the Bishops on the Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons, the then Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Ratzinger, later Pope Benedict XVI writes:

14. …this Congregation wishes to ask the Bishops to be especially cautious of any programmes which may seek to pressure the Church to change her teaching, even while claiming not to do so. A careful examination of their public statements and the activities they promote reveals a studied ambiguity by which they attempt to mislead the pastors and the faithful. For example, they may present the teaching of the Magisterium, but only as if it were an optional source for the formation of one’s conscience. Its specific authority is not recognized. Some of these groups will use the word “Catholic” to describe either the organization or its intended members, yet they do not defend and promote the teaching of the Magisterium; indeed, they even openly attack it. While their members may claim a desire to conform their lives to the teaching of Jesus, in fact they abandon the teaching of his Church. This contradictory action should not have the support of the Bishops in any way.
15. We encourage the Bishops, then, to provide pastoral care in full accord with the teaching of the Church for homosexual persons of their dioceses. No authentic pastoral programme will include organizations in which homosexual persons associate with each other without clearly stating that homosexual activity is immoral. A truly pastoral approach will appreciate the need for homosexual persons to avoid the near occasions of sin. We would heartily encourage programmes where these dangers are avoided. But we wish to make it clear that departure from the Church’s teaching, or silence about it, in an effort to provide pastoral care is neither caring nor pastoral. Only what is true can ultimately be pastoral. The neglect of the Church’s position prevents homosexual men and women from receiving the care they need and deserve. I have emailed the Bishop of Northampton as follows:

    Bishop Doyle,

Alerted by a shocked reader in England, I have now launched a discussion on our blog about your outrageous participation in a “gay” conference, at which you shared a platform with extremely well known “gay” rights activists. You are acting contrary to the 1986 Letter to Bishops, issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Editor, I can’t comply because I’m not shocked! Just another nail in the Catholic Church in the west. Decadent that’s what a lot of them seem to be. How can a truly masculine man possibly want to stand cheek to jowl with known homosexual activists, I wonder? Mmmmm……………..

      Crofterlady,

We’ve had this conversation before. We must ALWAYS be shocked, although unlikely to be surprised. This crisis in the Church is throwing up all sorts of shocks and we must never become immune to them.

The most repugnant thing about the advertisement is that, of the two people making “legs” with their fingers – as if to walk towards one another across the bridge – one is clearly an adult male and the other is clearly a child.

As we know, predatory homosexuals preying on boys and young men has been by far the main driver of abuse scandals in the Church. It is therefore shocking to see homosexual pressure groups indicating these warped desires in such an overt way. What else could the flirtatious gesture be designed to suggest?

Even more shocking to see a prelate put his name and face to such an advertisement, even as the scandal of the high-ranking pederast McCarrick plays out in the media.

As for James Martin ethh-jay, nothing he does could surprise or shock me.

      Gabriel Syme,

That is shocking – paedophile overtones! How shocking. I hadn’t looked closely enough at the images but now that I’ve looked properly, that is disgraceful.

I think, as usual, we’re just a bit behind the USA – we will have our own “McCarrick” scandal before long (some might think Cardinal O’Brien was that scandal but I think that was just the tip of the iceberg).

This Bishop Doyle isn’t looking very good right now. What a scandal he has caused just by going to that conference, never mind actually speaking in favour of the whole LGBT movement!

I too agree that Bishop Doyle is not looking good right now, scandalous indeed in going to that conference. No wonder we need to offer up our prayers, and, make reparation for the harm caused.

      Gabriel Syme,

“Even more shocking to see a prelate put his name and face to such an advertisement, even as the scandal of the high-ranking pederast McCarrick plays out in the media.”

      I absolutely agree.

I think we are in for the same sort of headlines and scandals that they have been going through in America for a while now, and I’d wager that Bishop Doyle will make the headlines when that time comes.

Quest’s public dissent from Catholic teaching has long been a matter of public record, and it hasn’t budged its stance one iota. This is an article from Christian Order from 2007, called ‘The Quest Rehabilitation’: http://www.christianorder.com/features/features_2007/features_nov07.html

      Westminster Fly,

That’s a brilliant feature from Christian Order, so packed with factual information, irrefutable evidence of the “filth of the Church’ that Pope Benedict spoke about although didn’t wipe out, unfortunately.

Thanks for posting that link – it is lengthy but well worth reading the whole thing.

These clerics – no matter where they are in the pecking order – have no shame, and they think they are immune to the consequences of their depravity and betrayal of the Faith. Better stop standing “cheek to jowl,” (Crofterlady, I have to seriously restrain myself on that one!) boyth, and start looking over your shoulders….

      RCA Victor,

It’s the lack of shame that gets me, as well, about these LGBT supporting priests and bishops.

I never thought I’d live to see the day when a bishop in England would speak at an LGBT conference alongside two well known dissenting gay activist priests (I’ve never heard of the female, but since she has raised four children, I presume she must be married).

Their brazenness is just beyond belief. Goodness knows thy they wanted to be ordained because they don’t seem to have any Catholic faith at all.

I just can’t wait until the day arrives when we get a good pope who will set about defrocking the likes of Bishop Doyle.

Bloggers are absolutely right to draw parallels with this latest episcopal scandal, this latest involvement in the LGBT movement, with what is going on in the USA.

Our young friend across The Pond, Damsel of the Faith, who runs her own, excellent blog, has given permission for me to publish her Open Letter to the American Bishops here, so read on…

From Damsel of the Faith blog

The presence of homosexual activity among bishops and seminarians was so widespread and connected, especially in seminaries, that it [is] impossible to believe that it was not known to many, if not most, of the bishops in the United States — especially to high-ranking prelates who deal with the daily affairs of the Church like problems in seminaries. Consequently, many are saying that the bishops who knew about this “homosexual predation” upon seminarians — and did nothing to stop it — should resign.

    American Bishops,

For the sake of your eternal souls & the millions in your care, leave the Episcopacy! Resign! You have done enough damage with your lies, deceit & cover-ups. You have allowed homosexuals into your seminaries & ordained them with impunity to destroy souls, body & soul. You have covered it up because your prestige, power & furthering your careers are your gods, if you are not part of the mafia yourselves. You consider yourselves nothing less than businessmen & act in that fashion. WHERE are the true Shepherds? Why will no one come forward & admit the truth, that the Church has been overtaken by homosexuals for generations, a mafia that passes down their evil, up to our present day? The Pennsylvania Grand Jury report is about to be released, detailing in hundreds of thousands of pages the corruption, deceit & evil in the state dioceses of Pennsylvania alone. Bishops, are you going to continue to wait for the storm to pass, implement ridiculous policies & pass the buck? You are infiltrators. You have no faith & you don’t even have the common decency to stop ripping apart the Body of Christ. She is weary & struggling to get up from the fight only to have you continuing to give her death blows. American Catholics no longer consider you trustworthy, they see through your lies & they want you gone. You are wolves & you don’t even try to hide in sheep’s clothing anymore.

Good bishops, where are you? Demand the resignation of the wolves within your confreres. The Catholic world is waiting. In fact, many Catholics already plan to go to Baltimore for your annual meeting in November to cry out & make their voices heard in protest. They have had enough. Are you going to offer balm to the wounds of the Church or walk away? You should resign too, if you’re that weak & negligent.

I’ll end with this, which clearly demonstrates that we are looking at the evil disciples of these 1,100 men – faithless, apostate homosexuals who infiltrated the Catholic Church. Do you deny it, Bishops?

“Stalin, soon after he came to power, ordered his cronies to invade Catholic seminaries … with young men that had neither faith nor morals. Now … the ideal cases: homosexual. Obviously, you don’t suppose that someone … well, it’s much more complicated, you know, to have an affair with a woman. But if you’re a homosexual, and then it was a tragic mission … . [Dodd] declared publicly — I repeat, publicly — that in the course of the 20 years of activities for the Communists, she recruited some 1,100 young men.” ~Bella Dodd’s words to Alice von Hildebrand in 1965.

Bishops, those of you who are innocent & not a part of this second generation of apostate homosexuals, speak now. You that have torn asunder the Body of the Church, you are the successors of one apostle – Judas.

Your world must crumble soon & your master will be defeated. Get behind us, Satan.

I am horrified to read all this. I see that there have been 10,000 signatures protesting at Fr. James Martin SJ speaking at the Conference of the Family but those protests have been brushed aside. I also saw on Fr. Zulsdorf’s blog the matter of those walking fingers. Truly we live in terrible times. More and more I ask myself how long Almighty God is going to put up with this evil.

Some time ago, a CT Newsletter covered the proposed new ‘Cathedral Centre’ at Northampton, which is expected to cost a cool £3.8M. See http://northamptoncathedral.org/the-cathedral/cathedral-centre/

The Mayor of Northampton, Gareth Eales, visited the site in Oct 2017 and said….”I think this new Cathedral Centre is a very exciting project, and when completed it will be of huge benefit to not only the Diocese, but for the whole town, particularly the immediate area. I would like to congratulate everyone involved with this development campaign for creating a plan for what will be a vibrant community hub, which is also very aesthetically pleasing. I look forward to seeing the building work commence”….

Can there now be any doubt that the likes of ‘Quest’ and ‘Sister Supporter’ will have the red carpet rolled out for them?

    From David Skinner, a “non-denominational” Christian…

    Dear Friends,

Please sign a petition created not just on my behalf but that of us all, by Lynda Rose, of Voice for Justice UK. This is to be sent to the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP – the Home Secretary, demanding that I
    (We) receive justice .
    https://www.citizengo.org/en/signit/164935/view

Before doing so, however, you may wish to read the circumstances surrounding the petition.
Saturday, 14th July, 2018, I was assaulted and had my property smashed before my very eyes and in front of a large crowd of spectators, when I went to protest at this year’s Bournemouth Gay Pride Parade, Bournefree . I had gone to keep alive the memory of Harry Hammond, a 69 year old, Christian, street preacher, who in 2001, after being attacked by around 30-40 gays and their allies, was arrested by the police for incitement of his attackers…. He was found guilty of breaking Section 4 of the Public Order Act and ordered to pay £650 in fines and costs. Shortly after his conviction he was hospitalised and died. I am five years older than when Harry Hammond was attacked but fortunately I did not suffer as he did.

Scenes of the attack on me were captured on the official video of Bournefree. 2018. Notice that there are no police around.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTmzqigcO7o&feature=youtu.be&t=1128

Please also look at the excellent interview of Lynda Rose, ex-barrister, as she describes the case. This includes dramatic film taken from my body camera.
    http://www.a1r.tv/videos/view/18487

The police have done little to apprehend my attackers, even though I have supplied them with multiple pictures, taken from my own camera and that of a lady standing only a few feet from me, who was also assaulted as you will see by her excellent film coming to an abrupt end.

    To download her video:

    1. Copy and paste this link into your browser:

    2. When the DattoDrive opens, click on the Icon on the left, labelled, “Marilyn’s” .

    3. This will activate the “Download” button on the far right of the page. Click on this.

4.At the bottom left of the page, the download should appear, taking a few seconds to reach “0”.

    5. Click on arrow and finally “open” .

Bishop Athanasius Schneider recently pegged these marches as a feature of totalitarianism, just as occurred during the early Nazi era in Germany.

Speaking of the LGBT disease, this morning I came across this apparently new website, tracing “Uncle Ted’s” web of corrupt connections in the hierarchy: http://complicitclergy.com/connections/

Sort of like a “LinkedIn” for the Lavender Mafia….

It seems to be quite well done and well-researched.

      RCA Victor,

That’s an impressive webpage and a very useful resource. Knowing the characters would help of course, but it’s very useful, indeed.

I am having email trouble and am now wondering if you received my reply about “that book” ?

I’ve only discovered that there’s a problem, being sending myself emails for hours now and getting no reply. Bad day, when I won’t even reply to myself!

Let me know if you have not received it and I will point you in the direction of the letter you mentioned.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE…

A couple of times in the recent past, bloggers have enquired about The Case of the Missing Athanasius, since it’s quite some time since he put in an appearance here.

In an effort to prevent a conversation developing on the subject, since, generally speaking, I try not to put pressure on bloggers, many of whom have family and work commitments which mean they can only blog “as and when”, I suggested that enquirers should email me privately, adding that Athanasius’s reason for not blogging at the present time “doesn’t put him in a good light, far from it” .

It has been drawn to my attention that this might lead readers to speculate that Athanasius is guilty of some dark crime, or at least held under police caution pending an identity parade 😀

Not at all. It’s much more mundane, I’m afraid – partly a simple misunderstanding between Athanasius and myself, very easily explained…

    https://m0.herfamily.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/15182751/minion13.jpg

And partly for personal reasons which have nothing to do with the blog, so he’s currently AWL (Absent With Leave) for the foreseeable future.

I hope that clarifies the position.

Athanasius is, however, a chocoholic so I’m going to remind him of what awaits him if only he decides to cut short that leave!

    Drum roll…

I may be wrong, however, I wonder whether or not the Church has been reduced to the “gay community”! Is that so-called “meeting on the family” dedicated exclusively to the “LGBT”? I believe that there are some misunderstandings regarding the topic!…
