“Trans” Education For Five-Year Olds, Slippery Education Secretary, & Brexit!
Education Secretary Damian Hinds has announced that sex education will be compulsory in all schools in England from 2020. Three new subjects – relationships education from primary school, relationships and sex education at secondary school, and health education for all ages – will form part of the school curriculum, with teachers deciding how frequently to hold age-appropriate lessons. The new statutory guidance will also spell out for the first time the end of parents’ right to opt their children out of sex and relationships education classes in secondary school.
Comment:
The above short interview is very revealing. 100,000 parents sign a petition objecting to the introduction of ridiculous topics like transgenderism in an attempt to brainwash children as young as five years old, and the Education Secretary, a very slippery customer indeed judging by this interview, isn’t at all fazed. Even being the father of three children himself, knowing the innocence of a five year old, hasn’t made any difference to his shallow “follow the crowd” mentality. I’ve just celebrated the sixth birthday of my lovely little Great Niece today – and she is as innocent as they come. The thought of some “liberal” loony aka nut telling her that if she wants to be a boy, no problem, makes my blood boil (and no, that’s NOT due to climate change…)
Then the interview questions switch to Brexit. I’m not sure I believe anything Damian Hinds says on either topic – what about you?

I meant to say in the introduction that, although Piers Morgan’s interview refers to five year olds, other news outlets are reporting that this compulsory brainwashing will begin at FOUR years of age.
How can any normal, right-thinking person, even vaguely think of speaking to toddlers about this baloney?
O, I know, “normal right-thinking people” WOULD NEVER think of speaking to toddlers about this baloney. Silly me!
Editor,
I agree with you entirely. I think there’s something seriously concerning about someone who wishes to subject children to this filth.
Petrus,
If a stranger spoke to kids about sexual things, they’d be on a watch-list as a possible paedophile. Just because they’re teachers, parents think it’s OK.
I see plenty of petitions doing the rounds but nobody taking legal action. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why at least one parent isn’t challenging this outrage in the courts. If over a million people marching on the streets of London wasn’t enough to stop the Iraq war, I can’t see a petition of a few hundred thousand parents making any difference here.
As for Brexit – we are not going to get out. That’s now clear. They will delay it and quietly shelve it. I, for one, will not be surprised. I’ve always thought that so-called democracy is a joke, this fiasco over leaving the EU just proves it.
To answer the question, then, no, I don’t believe a word Damian Hinds says on either sex-ed for four/five year olds, or Brexit!
Josephine,
I agree. I think this Prime Minister, despite all her empty words about “Brexit means Brexit”, is determined to derail the whole process.
This article from SPUC is dated 2017, so this has obviously been in the planning for a long time.

I’ve been thinking of this recently, during the trial of the boy on the Isle of Bute, who raped and murdered the 6 year old girl, wondering what can make a young boy even think of doing such a thing, but then I realised that their heads are filled with talk and images of sex from a young age as it is – and now they want this pushed to children as young as four? It’s sick.

Lily,
I heard someone say that same thing the other day, making the link between the Aaron Campbell conviction and sex-education. It’s bad enough to attack the innocence of small children but if you’re dealing with someone who has a tendency to perversion, that can be really dangerous.
Lily,
That’s a very good point. I bet no one in the political establishment would dare to make the (obvious) link between subjecting young minds to immoral material and sexual offences.
I think this poem says it well:
The Corruption that was Rome,
The melt down of civilization,
We don’t need to walk the past,
To be under its stifling Dome.
All you have to do is look around you,
Shame to those who knowingly participate,
And condone, and accept the crumbling process,
The strangling of our morals and our nation!
In the end, we will all pay a heavy price,
For having ignored the death of decency,
And for having allowed the enthronement of Vice!
Therese,
I’m sorry to say that I find parents are among those that your poem applies to especially this line – “Shame to those who knowingly participate.” I’m actually amazed they got 100,000 signatures from parents for that petition, they must care more in England than they do in Scotland. I find parents just go along with the sex education up here, and shrug their shoulders if you say how shocking it is.
That’s a great poem – it really does express what has happened perfectly – “the strangling of our morals and our nation”, absolutely.
Fidelis,
Exactly right. Schools are required to have information evenings that allow parents to view the material before it is taught to their children. The attendance is extremely poor at these meetings. Many parents are quite happy for schools to talk to their children about this because it means they don’t have to. Shocking !
Petrus,
I have heard this from teacher friends and it just beggars belief. They only seem to worry about how their children are doing in English and Maths. It is definitely shocking, as you say.
Therese,
Isn’t the last line chilling? “The enthronement of vice”! That’s exactly what has happened.
Petrus,
“Chilling” is the word. I fully agree.
Beautiful poem, Therese. Thank you for sharing that with us, here.
As I gaze at my wee ones I often think that I would die to protect them. So would most mothers. We watch their diet, we fret about their illnesses and hygiene, we keep them away from dangerous roads, beaches and all risky situations but yet, we give them iphones (access to porn, social media tec), we allow them to watch all sorts on TV and we see nothing wrong with them being taught sex ed in schools. Have we gone totally mad?
Helen,
You certainly haven’t gone mad, but most parents have. How any parent could hand their child a device that can access the internet is beyond me.
I thought bloggers might find this article from a USA publication very interesting on the subject of Brexit and Catholic politicians.
http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/brexit-through-the-eyes-of-a-catholic-politician
It just fascinates me that two people can look at the same issue and come up with opposite opinions!
Fidelis,
In politics, we have always been free to form our own opinions. It is incredible, though how hooked people have become on the EU, as if we can’t manage our own affairs, like most other countries in the world have to do.
It would be interesting to find out how many parents who allow or even encourage their children to “transition” into la-la land spent (mis-spent) their own youths as hippies, and thus have no sense of morality to begin with. I believe Fr. Chad Rippenberger wrote an article some years ago about “generational vice,” or something to that effect, in which he analyzed the successive decay of the moral standards of the 20th century generations.
Ah, here it is: “Generational Spirits”: http://motheofgod.com/threads/fr-ripperger.11573/
As for politicians and bureaucratic officials who enact laws and regulations to enforce this transgender insanity, I can think of no other reason for it than fear. Fear of losing their jobs, fear of being ridiculed by the LGBS (my new name for them) crowd and their media lynch-mobs.
Somehow, it became enlightened and compassionate to not only pursue insanity, but to make sure everyone else does as well, or be punished by the State for refusing.
RCA Victor,
“LGBS” – love it!
However, I’m not so sure about the priest you mention Fr Chad Rippenberger. This comment makes me uneasy: “And so it is that we turn once more to Father Chad Ripperger, a Doloran priest in Denver and full-time exorcist with uncategorical belief that family members past and present pass “familiar” spirits between one another.”
I’ve never heard that before and it makes me uneasy to see an exorcist saying something new like that. Is he a real exorcist, appointed by his diocese or just someone with an interest in it?
RCA Victor,
I have to say that I share Michaela doubts about that statement from Fr Rippenberger about family members past and present passing “familiar spirits” between one another. A very strange idea, to say the least.
Is there any basis for it in theology – other than from Fr Rippenberger’s “uncategorical belief”?
I also have to say that I’ve been warned against the “Spirit Daily” blog – can’t remember why, but (no offence to the Holy Spirit) I’m always wary of anything that holds “Spirit” in its title. I mean, how often do you find a “Father Daily” blog, website, publication, for example. It smacks of Protestant Charismatic-ism, if you get my drift!
However I’m open, as ever, to correction, so fire away!
Editor & Michaela,
I got several results when I Googled Father’s article(s), but went with the first one because I had to hit the road for a meeting (not pubbing & clubbing….). There were several YouTube videos about this also.
As for the :”familiar spirits,” I have no idea what those are, aside from someone’s favorite alcoholic beverage, but it seems safe to point out that the generations of men are steadily becoming more degenerate as the years pass by….left to free fall into insanity by the Church, which has fallen asleep at her post, drugged by Modernism into an impotent profane stupor.
I think that nursery children will have been getting this stuff thrown at them for quite a while now. I can’t believe it’s not going to happen until there’s a law. Parents definitely don’t care – otherwise, sex-education wouldn’t be in the schools to begin with.
Margaret Mary,
I think it’s even more serious than parents not caring. I believe most are pleased the schools are teaching this because it means they don’t have to. What a dereliction of parental duty!
What are the chances of this happening in a ‘Christian’ school?

Hear hear to Muslims! Perhaps they deserve to usurp the present incumbents at the Vatican when one sees their prolife and anti Lgbhsbtxyz propaganda stance.

Well done them! And look at our cowardly “soldiers of Christ”?! We deserve the “sacrifice to be taken away from us”, we really do.as for the “soldiers” so called officers aka the bishops, shame on them!
I wonder what Lodge Damien Hinds belongs to, pushing, as he is, the Masonic agenda to eradicate Christ and all innocence from the face of the earth in the name of “Enlightenment”.
This is precisely the evil Our Lady foretold at Quito for our age, how the Masonic Sect would try by every means to empty society of God and rob all children of their innocence. That so many people fall for the feeble excuses these people put forward for perverting children’s minds is beyond me. But Our Lady will have the victory of then and they will all be exposed for what they truly are.
Teaching sex ed to young children, no matter what pretence it’s done under, is child abuse.
Well, didn’t we just know this is what the ‘gender agenda’ was all about
