Here in Scotland I think it’s something a tad stronger than milk which parents leave out for Santa but I’d need to confirm that…
All I know is that, whatever is left out for him, he eats and drinks because when I called in to collect my niece and her children for Mass yesterday, I was astounded to see white (snow) footprints* leading to their living room coffee table (where the refreshments had been left) and a “snow” mark on the table where Santa and put his hand to pick up the goodies.
Nobody will ever convince my 6 year old Great Niece that there’s no Santa now. NEVER! 😀

“Silent Night” is one of my favourite carols. I can’t find one sung right through by a choir but this one is nice. The violin instrumental is played twice before the choir joins in, which I think is a pity, but it’s still beautiful.

Love the cartoon. I’m a volunteer at the Royal National Institute for the Blind here in Edinburgh and I can tell you they would find that very funny. Here’s a joke a blind man told me.
A blind man and his guide dog go into a department store to do some Christmas shopping.
