I’ve copied one of the comments from below the video on YouTube because this commentator says what needs to be said better than I can…
Wow! That’s not a rant, that is a stunning, articulate heartfelt speech which hopefully should nudge people back into reality. This world needs people like Candace now more than ever. Would love to one day see her as the President of the United States! Ends.
Now, I don’t know enough about Candace Owens to know whether she would make a great President of the USA or not, but judging by this video (and a couple of her interviews, which I’ve enjoyed), she seems to be possessed of good judgment, not to mention sound common sense.
I’ve been watching those protesters in horror (both in the USA and here in the UK) and wondering just how many Catholics are among them, causing destruction to buildings and monuments, and even physical pain to others in the name of “justice for the black community”… What Candace said makes a lot of sense to me – what about you?
What a marvellous video! That young woman is saying all the things that I’m sure lots of people think but are too afraid to give expression to. She certainly struck a chord with me.
It was terrible what happened to George Floyd, but that shouldn’t result in all the looting and damage that has broken out both in America and in the UK (probably other countries as well.)
I didn’t know that George Floyd has such a terrible criminal record. They’ve kept that out of the news here. All I’ve heard is that he had been in bother in the past, but was turning his life around. I was so mad at the policeman for not taking that into account when he tried to arrest him, not that I’m excusing what the policeman did, no way. That was a shocking thing to do, kneeling on his neck, downright cruel. However, I think the protesters have scored an own goal by reacting as they have done.
Candace is a voice of sanity in the middle of mob rule. I’m sure she’s going places – and I hope straight to the top of the White House is one of them, LOL!

Margaret Mary,
I totally agree with you – 100%.
TBH I am sick and tired of hearing people talk about racism as if it’s everywhere, and I dislike this fashion of pulling down statues because of historical racism. You can’t judge people in history outside of the times they lived in. We can only deal with our own times.
I notice nobody ever asks these protesters whose statues they want to put up in place of the ones they’re pulling down. That would be a very interesting thing to know.

Josephine,
It is indeed tiring that people talk about racism as if it is everywhere, and on top of that, all people who don’t go along with this cult as accused of being racist.
For these useful idiots of the globalists, the only original sin is being white… and redemption comes from being ‘woke’, i.e. embracing militant cultural Marxist. It’s surrogate religion. As Chesterton observed, if one stops believing in religion, one will believe anything!
There is no difference between black, brown, white etc. There is no difference except that between the children of darkness, and the children of light. Just as +Vigano explained in his letter to President Trump.
Some people think that the races should keep themselves to themselves on their own continent. Others believe in creating borderless secular multicultural utopia. Neither of these is authentically Catholic. The Catholic view is that no race has the right to isolate themselves on their own continent away from the rest of the human family. That is why Europeans, following Columbus, established a great Christian civilisation in the New World. This was in fulfilment of Christs command to take the Gospel to all four corners of the world (Mt 28:18-20).
On the other hand, what we have created in Western Europe, multiculturalism, is a contradiction in terms. There is no such thing as multiculturalism, it is not possible. The only way for all races and cultures and nations to get along is for all of them to live in one Catholic culture, just as in medieval Christendom. Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart will triumph, and the one true Catholic culture will flourish once more. And there will be no racial disharmony, nor racism, nor slavery, because all nations will be Catholic.
We’re on the same page regarding the obsession of these protesters with pulling down statues etc.
It’s petty and it’s designed to make trouble. That’s what these “protesters” seem intent on doing.
They’re bad enough, but the weakness in the political leadership is even worse. Literally kneeling before these vandals is a disgrace.

Josephine,
I’ve been reading a fascinating book about the Antichrist, and in an excerpt from St. Irenaeus’ Against the Heresies he says that Biblical figures like King Nebuchadnezzar and Simon Magus are both types of the Antichrist. Both, in fact, had statues associated with them: the King created one of himself 60 cubits high and 6 cubits wide, and Simon Magus was honored with a statue by the Roman Emperor Claudius Caesar.
My point being that, in my opinion, these statue-cancelers are foreshadowing the coming reign of darkness, in which no statues will be allowed except those honoring the man of sin. More to the immediate situation, Communists (who are Satanists) always prioritize the destruction of civilization, and the signs of civilization, in their march toward anarchy.
Also agree about the reporting on George Floyd – it’s be very light on the facts about his criminal record.
Having said that, I also agree with you (and every sane person on the planet) that he did not deserve such cruel treatment and it’s very good to know that the police officer responsible – and those officers who stood by and did nothing to stop him – are being called to account and will surely spend time in prison for their unconscionable behaviour.
A Catholic on another forum made the observation that there nothing better than a good cop, and nothing worse than a bad one. Same can be said of priests.
I feel very bad for all the good police at the moment. But take consolation that bad police will be less likely to get away with this kind of thing in the future.
The same could be true of every human being, actually – there’s good and bad in us all. Each one of us can do good while being more than capable of doing evil.
Thanks Adam. Thanks Eve… although not at all necessarily in that order 😀
It’s Puritanism! That’s all it is. They’ve banned the hilarious comedy character sketch show ‘Little Britain’, because apparently it’s racist now. And the legendary Hollywood classic, ‘Gone With the Wind’. Raving lunacy.
‘Woke’ ideology is a surrogate religion for secularists … And woke politics comes from America precisely because America is the centre of Puritanism. And watch out, because they are more fanatical than we could possibly ever be, and they are out to get us. Welcome to the new Cromwellian dictatorship. Protestantism, Freemasonic Enlightenment rationalism and liberalism, Communism … They are all part of the same revolution, begun by Luther, continued by the Freemasons … Then Marx, Stalin, and Mao. And now the globalists.
The metro-liberals are trying to blame racism on the white working class. It’s scapegoating and it’s evil. They are using divide and rule tactics. Turn the races against each other, and then rule them. They tried to turn men and women against each, but it didn’t work, because men an women need each other. But the globalists have succeeded to start a race war. Only God can help us now. Identity politics, cultural Marxism, whatever you want to call it … They are all errors of Russia, and they’re going to destroy this country.
I was stunned to learn about the banning of Gone with the Wind. What kind of skewed thinking comes up with something like that? And what kind of nutty politician pays any attention to it? What next? We already live in fear of being prosecuted for as much (or as little) as telling a “racist” joke, so we can expect further cases of jail time for all sorts of nonsense now. Like this …
What will be the cause of action? Insulting the Greeks? Putting Scots in second place? Quoting the “racist” Winston Churchill?
Gimme a break!

Absolutely the BLM campaign is a false narrative.
While any death in police custody is concerning, the death of George Floyd has been pounced on mainly as a vehicle for making political capital.
We now know Floyd had various drugs in his system during the incident, in sufficient quantities to be lethal. Witnesses – including the person who called Police – said he was falling about as if very drunk and seemingly in some physical distress, before the Police arrived. The Police call handler was worried about him attempting to drive in this state, hence why Police units were rushed to the scene.
All of this has been omitted by the mainstream media, meaning a false impression is given as to circumstances and Police actions. The media even said that Floyd being accused of passing a false bank note was the central issue which caused the chain of events. As if someone would phone 911 / 999 over a suspected fake bank note.
Floyd’s extensive criminal record, meaning he was likely known to Police, was also omitted by the media.
So, Floyd was a low life – not a man to celebrate or rally behind – although of course this does not mean his death was deserved, or that the Police involved should not have done better.
Here are some statistics about black crime in the US. These are from 2015,
In 2015, 6,000 black people were murdered by other black people.
The same year, the Police shot dead 258 black people.
Where was BLM then? Where are they ever year, where 1000s of Black people die at the hands of other black people?
Yet, one specific incident involved the Police sparks massive protests. The lady in the video is 100% correct to state that racially driven police brutality is a myth.
Very clearly BLM is a very selective and precisely directed campaign. Its main aim is to make political capital. It is typical of modern identity politics, where activists claiming to variously represent ethnic minorities, women and homosexuals all vie with each other to dominate social narratives, each portraying themselves as the most hard done by demographic.
Another point is that since abortion was introduced in the USA, black babies have suffered the most with an estimated (and staggering) 20 million of that demographic having been killed in the womb. This is greater than the size of the US black population in 1960.
Black lives do matter, but looking at the stats we see it is black people themselves who principally need to accept that.
Murders suggest criminality and abortions suggest sexual promiscuity. These are the behaviours of people who have lost their way, or never knew the way in the first place. Why might this be?
In the African American community, 72 percent of Black children are raised in a single parent household.
Many single parents do a very fine job of raising children, of course, but some do not – and surely for a specific community to be so greatly afflicted with relationship breakdown is very concerning?
I had not heard of her prior to this video, but Candace Owens is clearly a very impressive lady. Heeding her message would be of much greater benefit to the black community than swallowing all the rubbish spouted by BLM / the Democrats etc.
I do think there could be improvements in US Police training and recruitment. I was surprised to learn recently how brief their (typical) training is, compared to European police forces. And in the Floyd case, one of the Officers had a criminal record yet was still allowed to join the Police. The central Officer in the Floyd case, Derek Chauvin, has since his arrest been accused of voting illegally in Florida, where he does not live.

Editor,
There are quite a few Catholics among the protesters (not the rioters, however, that I know of) who have succumbed to the white guilt trip being screamed at them by the Communist thugs of Black Lives Matter and their corporate enablers in the media, in the world of commerce and in academia. Lots of Catholics, useful idiots all, are quite eager to publicly renounce their “white privilege.”
The pattern of revolution is truly well in place: militant Soros-funded groups, and/or globalist-subservient institutions, start making their demands, and the corporate world casts its incense en masse, no matter how absurd the demand or how false the narrative. We saw it with the LGBT movement (especially “Pride Month,” which we are now in), we saw it with the fake pandemic, where the world took a knee before fake science and its well-paid stooges in white lab coats, and now we see it with the George Floyd death.
The most embarrassing aspect of this is the number of American Catholic bishops who have taken up the cry against “systemic racism.” I suppose it’s not that surprising, actually, since most of them are in bed (you should pardon the expression) with the Democratic Party. They have already made fools of themselves with the Kung Flu lockdown, and now they are putting even more arsenic-laced icing on their poisoned cake. They give the appearance of trying to outdo one another, in the clerical version of virtue-signaling, in racking up brownie points with their Marxist boss.
But speaking of LGBT Pride Month, I’d bet the “tolerant and inclusive” crowd is becoming quite agitated over all this attention being paid to racism, and no attention, or hardly any, being paid to them. You watch, there will soon be new protests to remind us all of the part of the revolution we have lately forgotten.
This “white guilt” phenomenon puzzles me – as does the outcry over the (black) police officer who insists that “all lives matter”… Why should anyone object to him saying that?

Leftists object to rational thought because they themselves are irrational. They have been whipped up into a frenzy of hate for America – by Marxist university professors, CNN/media propagandists masquerading as journalists, by George Soros money, and by the general culture of degeneracy and death. I no longer think it is possible to reason with any of these people. They need to be locked up and the key thrown away, with a little hard labor thrown in for good measure.

I meant to say also that Candace is one of those “voices of truth” I’ve been praying for lately.
Your prayers have definitely been answered on that score – she really is a voice of truth. You are blessed in the USA to have quite a few speaking out – the usual suspects like Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Ben Shapiro but also Dennis Prager – I am just loving his Fireside Chats: watched another one earlier, and he is spot on…Praying for his conversion, which reminds me, is Candace, (I wish) a Catholic? Or, at all religious?
I always think that it’s sincerely good people like Dennis and Candace who would have, by now, converted to the Faith were it not for this horrendous crisis in the Church where the truth is obscured. Such a scandal for which the recent popes, bishops and priests will be called to account at their judgment.
Here in the UK, on the other hand, we’ve got Peter Hitchens, end of. Oh, now that he’s been sacked from his LBC radio show (for protesting the pulling down of statues etc in England) Nigel Farage has started to speak out more, but still not complaining about lockdown.
So, you are spoilt for choice across the Pond, lucky you. Anyone who criticises lockdown over here is treated like we’re out to deliberately kill as many people as possible ! Unbelievable.

I have an apology to make to lots on here Ed although am still very wary of this Chinese Fabricated Corona Disease am most certainly not in Favour of wearing Masks in A Catholic Church. Also Sturgeon has well overstepped the Mark as per usual. As for Candace I Love Her but I also fear she may succumb not to the Corona Virus but to Clintonites . One can recover from The Chinese Disease but Clintonites is 100% Deadly. I mean there was actually a case of a Dead Man who had Shot Himself not once but Twice in the Back of The Head and that takes some doing. As for this White Privilege Garbage that some of these so called Catholic Bishops are backing ( Stowe being the latest. ) it really is our own fault. Well at least that’s what he says . Personally I was talking to an Orangeman a Neighbour of mine and asking Why the Orangemen aren’t marching this year . To be fair if it’s good enough for Blacks lots of whom are Foreigners to be out in their 1000s Marching Rioting and Looting . Then it’s only Fair that the Orangemen get to walk also . And am serious when I say this . In fact am going to go onto Rangers Radio tonight and put that to them . At least unlike so called Catholics near me they don’t Vote the Evil S. N. P .
I don’t think you need worry about Candace falling for any Clinton propaganda. Here she is talking about Hillary Clinton.
As for your remarks about the Orange Walk – reminded me of an email I received from a friend a short time back. I dug it out to post here…
I remember Dundas Street bus station back in the day. I never knew that it was named after a slave owner or dealer. It’s not there now so we don’t need to worry about it. What we need now is something to bring us all together. Buchanan Street will probably have to go. But St Vincent street, named after a naval battle that most have never heard of and favourite route for Orange marches, could for the benefit of all be renamed St Vincent de Paul street, with many statues of the Saint at every crossroad – what’s not to like….?
What, indeed… 😀

There is no religion or interest in religion cited on Candace’s Wikipedia page, but there are many other interesting things there, some of which smell like leftist propaganda to try to discredit her (Wikipedia is not exactly a fair and balanced source!).
As for the voices of truth over here, there are quite a few, but I doubt they have had much effect in stopping or even slowing down the globalist culture of death and tyranny.

This racism stuff is like the Covid-19 death count, it’s fabricated propaganda which Marxist puppet masters, aided by the media they control, are using to stir up emotions that can then be directed towards societal anarchy. Yes there are cases of racism in the world, we all know that, but these are by far the exception rather than the rule. You won’t catch these anti-racism people demonstrating to save the unborn child from abortion, a far worse crime against humanity. That one truth tells us that the new racism thing is from the Father of Lies, along with all those other “isms”.
I think it fair to say that we now live in a fully Marxist UK whose governments suppress true freedom while extending false freedom to society’s criminals and destroyers, what St. Paul called “using liberty as a cloak for malice”. This is what cultural Marxism aimed to do from the beginning, to rid nations of Christianity over many decades and install anarchy in its place. Everything is now upside down, just as Satan likes it and as Our Lady of Fatima predicted it.

This is really interesting – Tucker talks about the way things are changing, touches on both racism and lockdown. If only we had someone like him (and Candace Owens) over here.
When I think of the years during which we wrote to the bishops to expose REAL scandals among the clergy and were ignored and insulted, with those clergy often promoted – certainly not suspended or even rebuked – I’m appalled to read the speed with which this priest has been disproportionately punished for this relatively unimportant breach of what is nothing more than political correctness.

FOOF,
I don’t think you need worry about Candace falling for any Clinton propaganda.
Editor,
There is no religion or interest in religion cited on Candace’s Wikipedia page, but there are many other interesting things there, some of which smell like leftist propaganda to try to discredit her (Wikipedia is not exactly a fair and balanced source!).
As for the voices of truth over here, there are quite a few, but I doubt they have had much effect in stopping or even slowing down the globalist culture of death and tyranny.
I posted this earlier on the GD thread, but it fits perfectly here:
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/06/in_a_world_of_sheeplike_conformity_hillsdale_college_takes_a_stand.html
Hillsdale College is a truly rare institutional voice of truth in American academia. As the author of the column writes, this is a brilliant response to the leftist mobs’ demands.
RCA Victor,
An excellent article. Thank you for posting it. That college obviously has strong and courageous leaders. I’m glad they did not allow themselves to be bullied into publishing a statement in support of Black Lives Matter.
BLM = Burn Loot Murder
Unfortunately, Piers Corbyn (brother of the former Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn) fell foul of the wrong law. He protested the lockdown, not [the other kind of ] historical slavery. So, he’s been charged.

A priest in the USA has been suspended for departing from the Party Line on the subject of Black Lives Matter and using some descriptive language in an article… https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/catholic-priest-black-lives-matter-indiana-protests-blm-a9598956.html
