| Update on Join the Legal Challenge to the UK Govt Lockdown
Our battle against the Government’s lockdown will go before a High Court judge on July 2.
The date – which will mark the 101st day since the UK was placed into lockdown – has been set aside for an application for permission to seek Judicial Review. This hearing is the important first step in the process and is the first official court date in our legal challenge.
It was set just days after the Government found itself under-fire following the claim in its defence papers that it had not ordered schools to close and that it was merely a “request”that they did.
The revelation sparked backlash from schools and parents alarmed over how the trick of words from Prime Minister Boris Johnson has meant more than 11 million children being out of school since March 23. Many private schools declared they would be opening regardless in September “come what may”, using hygiene measures and their own test and trace measures.
While lockdown means the hearing will take place via video link and not physically in the High Court, it will follow normal rules in terms of access to the public and media.
The Government will be represented by one of country’s top QCs, First Treasury Counsel Sir James Eadie. Its legal team also includes 3 barristers.
July 2 will be just over 100 days since lockdown and what has happened every day in this period underlines how important the Judicial Review is.
In that time, £2.5bn has been wiped off the UK economy each day, millions of children are shut out of school, the NHS faces a waiting list explosion, and the freedoms of liberties everyone in the UK have been trampled over. In all this time, the Government has shown the agility of a beached whale.
It has sought to kick this legal process into the long grass time and time again. Even its response was issued 3 minutes before the deadline. Its strategy seems to be to label our claims as ‘absurd’ and to shut down any scrutiny of the most draconian set of rules this country has known.
We have already forced the publishing of the SAGE meeting minutes, and unmasked the closure of schools as a trick of words from a government now trying to weasel its way out of a decision around education which is a stain on the history of this country.
There has been no democratic process on lockdown, which is why we must turn to the courts. Few people will realise there was a debate over the lockdown in the Commons recently. It is a disgrace that only a handful of MPs attended – a point made by some of the MPs themselves – this is why I believe the legal work to unpick the Government’s actions as part of the Judicial Review is so vital. Lockdown must end now.
The Judicial Review will seek to challenge the Government on three main points:
• Whether lockdown is unlawful because the Government implemented regulations under the Public Health Act 1984 instead of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 or the Coronavirus Act 2020.
• The legality of the continuation of lockdown, and whether the tests for lifting it are too narrow, failing to take account of the economic and social impacts of lockdown.
• Whether the restrictions brought in by the Government contravene the European Convention of Human Rights, which cover the right to liberty, family life, education and property.

The Government, or Governments (as it’s a New World Order via the UN/WHO) are pressing ahead at full steam. For this “Totalitarian control’ system to work they have to get rid of paper money and make purchases digital only. Scaring people from handling paper money or coins will be their next essential propaganda strategy, as well as creating food shortages. Around the world they are going into meat factories and testing people for Covid -19 and as a common cold, or any flu you’ve had in the last few years, can show up as a positive, they are deliberately shutting down the meat processing plants. They will have a front man, another complicit agent explaining why the “Virus” thrives in such environments to fool those reading these lies. Food shortages will scare people more, this will increase their susceptibility in accepting the tracing apps and tracing brown shirts calling at your home to quarantine you. Eventual they will have full control like China and North Korea. They will dictate when you can purchase digitally, where you can travel and when you will take the vaccine. The UN / WHO will instigate a New World Order of Euthanasia, abortion up to birth (and child killing after the baby has been born) in all countries. The court date – Feast of the Visitation – is definitely a good sign, and I’m sure St Thomas More will be assisting at the throne of God.
They’re very brave Catholics, indeed – and maybe there are others who are not Catholics who are supporting this, I’d be interested to know that.
The thing is, would a positive outcome apply to Scotland as well? This whole devolution business drives me nuts, one foot in the UK, one foot out. I never know what applies to us and what doesn’t, what the UK government is responsible for, what Holyrood is responsible for. Devolution was a big mistake.
Good luck with the court case anyway but I hope if they win, it will apply to Scotland as well.

That is a good question – “Would a positive outcome apply to Scotland as well?”
That is the problem with the matter of Scotland’s devolution – I have no idea whether it will apply to Scotland. It might be a question to be put before Scottish Lawyers to answer. And would Scotland need to put forward a legal challenge separately.
I do hope Nicola Sturgeon is taking NOTE of that challenge, especially with it going Court on July 2nd 2020.
Scotland and England have different legal systems so any outcome would not apply in Scotland.

It rather depends on the outcome. If it is a positive outcome for the plaintiff then courts in other parts of the UK would have to weigh that favourable judgment in favour of any like legal case here in Scotland.
This is a great development, the people finally taking back their freedom through the courts, assuming the courts are still neutral and not political.
I hope the people behind this action will arm themselves with the 20-year history of reckless virus models presented to various governments by Professor Neil Ferguson. It is vital that judges see the evidence before them of how this one scientist turned the government from its initial “herd immunity” policy to totalitarian lockdown on the basis of apocalyptic numbers that never came anywhere close to his predictions.
I will pray for the success of this action to stop International Socialism/Marxism from overturning the established order in our democratic countries.

So true. I spoke to the woman behind me in the supermarket queue yesterday and she immediately turned her eyes away and didn’t answer. I only said something about it being a lovely day or something trivial like that. It’s beyond belief, the fear. She was wearing a mask. I now take that as a sign not to speak to or approach that person.
Well, folks, this is proving to be an eye-opener. I’ve lost count of the number of emails I’ve received from supporters of this court case, keen to have some publicity, but, despite my repeated emphasis on the need for these good people to sign up and comment, spread the word to others, this has turned out to be a damp squib. Of course, it’s still only a day old (for another hour!) but it’s very slow.
The main thing is that we are aware of this important case and the date (2nd July: Feast of the Visitation) so if we all keep this important matter in our prayers, it will have been worthwhile having this very short wee chat 😀

I truly hope that this initiative succeeds, but apart from the finding of the Court, there are other factors that the general populace ought to be aware of – and which the mass media are going to great lengths to conceal from them.
• Our immune systems begin to develop from about the 6th month of our lives, and get more and more efficient at defending us as they encounter more and more challenges. That is how immune systems develop during our lives. In my childhood, if a child got measles for example, or chicken-pox, other mothers would want their children to play with that child in order expose them to the illness so that their immune systems would broaden and thus give immunity in the future. Never was it known that healthy people were put into quarantine – that is the sure way to stunt the development of our immune systems and leave us exposed to new diseases.
• Eminent Immunology experts have said (before they were silenced) that 98% of people who get infected by Covid-19 recover from it – even those who needed hospital treatment – and of that 98%, many did not even know that had caught it and had overcome it.
• Wearing of masks is a complete waste of ttime because the Covid-19 virus is so small it can slip through the tightest of meshes. Who would try to keep mosquitoes out of their back yard by putting up chainlink fencing? Besides that, masks harbour germs and can thus be not only ineffective, but counterproductive.
• Statistics about deaths due to Corvid-19 are regularly being over-inflated. No distinction is made between dying of Covid-19 and dying with Covid-19.
• The Excel Centre in London was converted at huge expense to be able to take the overflow of Covid-19 sufferers out of routine hospitals to ease the strain on the NHS. It could hold up to 3,700 patients. It was quietly decommissioned after hitting a peak occupancy of just 19 patients!
This whole Covid-19 business is part of a hidden agenda and the general public need to cotton on in order to expose it.

An excellent comment, I have to say. I would add in respect to the wearing of masks, however, that another reason for them being completely ineffective is that viruses can enter the body through the eyes, which are glands. There is absolutely no point in covering the mouth if the eyes are uncovered, it’s a waste of time. But, as you rightly point out, this mask business is not about health it’s about control. People really do have to do their own research and stop listening to the fake government and media narrative, which is geopolitically motivated and sinister.

I’ve been out driving today, and had occasion to park in a side-street, not very broad, to wait for a passenger who was collecting something from a shop.
I laughed watching some of the behaviour of other drivers. Just one example: a driver of a large car slowed down just as he was coming alongside where I was parked. He was either checking the location, or looking for someone. Meanwhile, another driver came tearing up behind him and had to slow right down – his face was a picture. Fury. In a few seconds (and that’s all the whole episode took, seconds) the cruising driver took off again and Bad-Tempered Bobby revved up his engine and sped off at… well… speed. 😀
Why was I laughing? Because, a pound to a penny Driver No. 2, at least, will be a “believer” in the propaganda and will worry himself sick about getting the virus, but think nothing of risking his life on the road, either through road-rage or the kind of temper tantrum that can lead to a stroke!
And the number of people I saw wearing masks while walking out in the cold fresh air (with rain falling intermittently) – well, I lost count.
These are crazy people. Crazy, crazy people.

I would venture to guess that Mr. Speedy at the back was the one less likely to wear the mask, he sounds too much like me!!
The people wearing face masks just make me laugh. I walk by them and look with a big grin on my face, just as I would at any circus performer. Most of them are wearing masks for attention, trying to make themselves feel important, or have others look at them as if they were intelligent. I have house plants with higher IQs.

I was expecting an avalanche of comments, all written with markedly English accents, but, instead, I think I’m correct in saying, you, and you alone, are representing Our Lady’s Dowry. I’m not sure about Francescomarta and Littlecharie, though, so maybe I’d better say no more on that subject! Thank YOU for crossing the border to chat with us!
It is beyond belief to see how compliant everyone is being through this “crisis” – and it’s been a real eye-opener in terms of observing human behaviour. This has really shown up many characters in their true colours.
One thing I have noticed in shops is that the people wearing the masks are unfriendly, unhappy people. Would never speak. Quickly turn to walk away if they think I’m going to speak…Eyeing everyone (or me, anyway!) with suspicion,
People NOT wearing masks are much more relaxed and friendly and will say a few words in passing or when examining stock on the shelves. I have noticed it over and over – it’s very obvious that the mask wearers are terrified people – they may well survive this virus but goodness knows what damage they are doing to their mental health.

Anyway, good news about the challenge in the courts, I hope it is successful. Today we visited our parish church during the two hours it was open. Well. We were greeted by marshals who pointed out the clearly visible hand sanitiser, then directed to a pew. No real need to be told where to go so we just went to our usual place. The Blessed Sacrament was exposed on the altar but the zealous marshal continued to spray disinfectant around the pews and tapes, even coming right up to ours and spraying the hand rail. Not conducive to quiet prayer.just made me cross. Next week there will be Mass, rules to be announced, masks required, etc.
We will see how that goes if we are fortunate to get in as there are not many spaces with many seats unavailable. What times we are living in and if our grandchildren come they may not sit with us. Well let’s see how that pans out…

Many thanks for posting those extracts from Archbishop Lenga’s interview. It is heartening to see another churchman join the very small band of bishops who are speaking out.
And this is also heartening – a report from SKY saying only 6% of people want to return to pre-lockdown life. But no need to read the report – check out the comments underneath and see hope springing eternal. The majority are expressing the same kind of views we are expressing here… At last there are people seeing the truth about “the virus” – Deo gratias.
