Letter to the Chief Constable, Police Scotland…This is not Communist China!
The following letter, dated 6 July, 2020, was sent to the Chief Constable, Police Scotland, authored by blogger, Athanasius, who has kindly given permission for it to be published here, for discussion…
Dear Chief Constable,
I understand that as of July 10 the wearing of face masks in shops is to become mandatory by government order, and that Police Scotland is set to back this imposition on civil liberties by means of fines.
Before getting to the point, allow me to appraise you of the truth concerning Covid-19. The best place to begin is with a declaration made by England’s Chief Medical Officer, Sir Chris Whitty, to the media gathered at Downing Street on May 11: “I wish to reiterate that for most people Covid-19 is harmless”.
This declaration coincides perfectly with official Scottish statistics showing that around 2500 Scots from a population of 5.5 million have died subsequent to having tested positive for Covid-19. That relatively small number, of which 50% were deaths in locked down care homes, equates to a mere 0.04% of the population.
Furthermore, since this virus has never been correctly isolated and identified using established scientific method (Koch’s Postulates), British test procedures and results based on flawed Chinese research are clearly untrustworthy. There is a case presently before the English courts in regard to this false science and the subsequent totalitarian legislation resulting from it.
Having spent many hundreds of hours studying the Covid-19 phenomenon, I am now fully convinced that this Chinese virus has been politicised for the purpose of imposing a new (Communist) totalitarian rule on the free world, the “new normal” as they like to call it.
That the present crisis is manufactured is without question given the aforementioned official statistics and declarations, not to mention that for the first time in decades 40% of acute NHS beds in the UK are empty. It is also evident in such sleight of hand as Post Mortem examinations being largely suspended for the duration along with second-doctor confirmation of cause of death in the interests of conflating numbers.
Further proof of the fraud is in the fact that the World Health Organisation (WHO) is being cited in support of the new rules when that organisation is clearly in China’s pocket, which is why the U.S. has withdrawn funding from it.
You will doubtless be aware that the WHO initially silenced the Covid-19 outbreak at China’s behest and then lied to the world when declaring that it was not a transmittable virus. Months later it announced that face masks were useless, now it says they should be made mandatory. On the basis of such flip-flopping misinformation it is evident that the WHO is not a reliable source upon which governments should legislate.
Now to the point. A few weeks ago you and Nicola Sturgeon gave the nod to a gathering of thousands of anarchists on Glasgow Green. Only a small minority of those present wore face masks and none observed the social distancing rules. By permitting this you set a precedent that can be cited in court as evidence that the new mandate set to come into force on July 10 is contradictory and discriminatory.

It tells us a lot about the ideology of our leaders when citizens are locked in their homes, churches are shut down, dog walkers are spied upon and reported by neighbours etc., while Marxist anarchists in their thousands are accorded free reign!
This is what happens when law enforcement loses its direction and sense of justice becoming instead a politicised “strong arm” of government, in this case the culturally Marxist Scottish Nationalist government which is using Police Scotland to enforce its Constitutionally unprecedented and unlawful suppression of civil liberties.
Enough is enough! This is free democratic Scotland, not Communist China, North Korea or the former Soviet Union. You will not be permitted to impose a Police State in this country under any pretext!
From what I hear in the general population people are sick and tired of this government and its manipulation of the police to bring about its Marxist ends. It has gone on for years in the form of thought policing and now it has been expanded to full blown totalitarianism dictatorship.
When seven police constables respond to a bus driver’s report that a passenger is refusing to wear a face mask, as recently happened to an acquaintance of mine in Paisley, then it is perfectly legitimate for the public to question this new direction of the police, a direction that disgraces the uniform and the noble history of the force in fighting real crime.
For four months now I have been unable to go to work, attend church, go on holiday, have my hair cut or do any of those other things I am entitled to do as a free man of this land. Indeed I don’t even know if I’ll have a job at the end of this, if it ever does end, such is the evil visited upon our nation by this culturally Marxist government with your assistance, destroying our economy and civil liberties with impunity.
I was six years old when the Asian Flu visited the UK in 1968, killing 85,000 people. My entire family was bed ridden and I was the only one untouched by the virus. There was no Nanny State in those days so I was forced to do the shopping, make light meals and feed the baby. Not a single business closed during that pandemic and not a single resident was placed under house arrest. Why? because historically society isolates the sick, not the healthy. You see the present insanity, the counter-cultural subversion?
Since barely half the numbers of the 1968 event have died on this occasion, despite the fiddling of figures, you may rest assured that I will not be wearing a face mask for Nicola Sturgeon, for you or for any other self-appointed dictator. Our troops did not surrender their lives in two world wars to protect freedom and democracy in our nation only for subversives in high places to take it away by stealth.
Covid-19 is hardly the plague upon us, but let me tell you that I would rather face a plague with freedom than live subjugated as an automaton under people like you and Nicola Sturgeon.
I should inform you that I intend to send this letter to the media for publication in the hope of exposing what is really occurring in our society right now. In the meantime, Please find enclosed a proper scientific document exposing the falsehood of face masks.

On this day, when the Scottish Government, supported by Police Scotland, seeks to enforce the wearing of face masks / face coverings on the population, we have to wonder if Athanasius is correct. ARE we heading into a full blown police state? I spoke to a gentleman yesterday who is a total believer in the lockdown; when I tried to offer some facts, his hand flew up and he announced that he didn’t want to hear “my theories”. Then earlier today, a reader spoke to a lady during her shopping trip explaining that this is a very worrying time, with Communist China on the rise… To her astonishment, the woman replied that she had often thought we needed a “wee bit of Communism” in order to make us appreciate our democratic way of life. Our fellow-reader did not have the heart to tell her that there’s no such thing as “a wee bit of Communism”. You can have a wee bit of chocolate, or a wee bit of a break from blogging, but Communism comes as a package – with totalitarian government and … well… you know…
I’ve already congratulated Athanasius on his excellent letter. I’m sure you will want to say a few words of thanks, too, for his untiring efforts to do everything possible to alert the authorities to the terrible road down which Scotland (and the wider UK) is heading – unlike the clergy, from the Pope down, whether modernist diocesan clergy or traditional (so-called) priests, all of whom have remained silently complicit throughout this removal of our civil and religious liberties. Where are their voices now, in all of this, as the imposition of face-coverings takes this authoritarian governance to a new level? Where, more to the point, are their consciences?
Share your own thoughts, too, on where this is all going: are face-masks/coverings here to stay? I know two people who’ve been shopping today and refused to comply. I’ll be refusing to comply when I next head for the shops. Is that the right thing to do? Is it “spoiling for a fight” (asking for a fine? 😀 ) I don’t think so – I’m not going to pay any fine, and I suspect others who are non-compliant will be non-compliant all the way, as well. I am incensed that instead of the lockdown and the restrictions on freedom and our way of life being abandoned and eased, the restrictions are being drawn ever tighter.
It is now a legal requirement to wear a mask on public transport. Any mask will do apparently. However, the DM published a review of masks. In summary, they are all useless. Note that surgical masks are only useful to prevent surgeons dribbling into the patients on whom they are operating.
This is about control over the people not control of the spread of disease.
As if to emphasise this, as from next week it will become a legal requirement to wear a”face covering” (albeit useless) in a shop.
If I have not needed to wear a mask in shops in the last three months, either for my own benefit or that of others, why would it be needed now?
The number of people in Scotland who may be infectious as of today, may be around 1000, per Prof Ferguson’s (wholly untrustworthy) model. A model that the Government has chosen to use.
These numbers will be concentrated in the major conurbations and in care homes. In short, the Government’s own figures suggest that the epidemic is virtually over.
There is no need for face coverings at all.
This iniquitous clamp down on normal social interactions is both barbarous and useless, as well as a gross infringement of the freedoms we might expect to enjoy in this country.
Frankly, I am astonished that the opposition parties at Holyrood did not make this unworkable.

Their response is nothing short of tragic.
These opposition parties spend half their lives picking up on nonsense in Parliament, but when it’s something like this, that would see them streets ahead, they take what they think is the popular government line.
It’s only popular because the people are not being offered any alternative view, some hard facts.
It’s bad enough that the majority of people are falling into line, believing the propaganda, but that the opposition parties are doing the same is horrendous – there’s just no way out…

The replies you received from those MSP’s confirms what I have long argued, which is that despite the different names under which the political parties operate, and despite variations in public policy, they are all culturally Marxist entities who share the same ideology, which is counter-Christian and immoral. In oher words, they are puppets on a string dancing to the tune of hidden masters.
That is a fantastic letter, which comprehensively sets out the appalling situation we are in, and which I fear will be completely lost on the recipient. I thought I would never allow myself to be forced to wear a face mask, but unfortunately I have two rather important hospital appointments coming up and I am told it is mandatory for all to wear face coverings in hospitals.
Today I visited the vet to pick up some flea control medication for my cat. I had to phone yesterday to order it, and was given an appointment to pick it up. At the surgery one isn’t allowed inside the premises, but sent to a bottom opening window, where the receptionist, wearing a visor, asked why I hadn’t phoned from the car park to inform them that I was 20 seconds away. She then put the flea treatment in a plastic box and pushed it through the window, which was only open a sufficient amount to allow the passage of the basket. As I don’t have a contactless card she asked me to hold up the card to enable her to read the digits, and then put the receipt in the basket and pushed this out of the window for me to collect. Absolute insanity.
My friend told me today that on a visit to TK Maxx yesterday she commented to the assistant at the door who was dishing out hand sanitisers whilst wearing a visor that germs could get under the visor so there wasn’t much point in wearing it. She carried on into the shop but was accosted by the manager who had obviously been informed about her comment and who harangued her about safety and doing what she was told.

What you describe is exactly what I see everywhere, it’s like a collective insanity has taken hold on society. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined such a turn of events in a nation or the ready compliance of so many people to the utter madness of it all. It really does demonstrate that most people are sheep, a fact that this global experiment in social engineering has terrifyingly confirmed.

I commend Athanasius highly for his eloquent bravery in standing up to this fraud. One of the more revealing aspects of the fraud is that Communist Chine has been, and is being held up to the West as a model response to this [mild form of] flu. The Rockefeller Foundation, Event 201, the WHO, the CDC, the Gates Ghoul, CNN (Communist News Network), and all the rest of the leftist organs have blessed China’s totalitarian treatment of its citizens as the way to go. This despite massive evidence that face masks and social distancing accomplish, medically, absolutely zilch, and further, that prolonged wearing of masks harms the immune system and deprives the bloodstream of oxygen to dangerous levels.

The other day I was on a treadmill at the gym (say nothing, Editor!), and had the misfortune of being in front of a TV monitor that was broadcasting CNN. The teleprompter/script-readers, all prettied up with the usual cosmetics, were comparing the lack of cooperation among Americans to the face mask mandates with China’s universal cooperation, as if a Communist nation could be compared in any way to a free one. The message was, “Hey, the Chinese are cooperating – why aren’t you Americans?”
Why aren’t we cooperating, CNN? Because we don’t like liars like you, we don’t like Communist governments, and we don’t like being treated like infants who don’t know how to take care of themselves by “experts” in white lab coats. And while you and your fellow well-paid eunuchs may bow your heads and become servile germophobes in exchange for ample paychecks, the rest of us are not interested in your pitiful surrender.
As to where this is going, I believe Francescomarta – who obviously has his finger on the NWO pulse – has posted at least once about health passports, cell phone scans to gain admittance to buildings, and the like, even digital ID’s in vaccines.
This is a full-blown assault on what’s left of our freedom, make no mistake about it, making full use of the latest technologies, wall-to-wall fear-mongering by media and government stooges, and Communist/fascist intimidation tactics. What can I say about the clergy throughout this nightmare of the last four months, effeminate men who locked the Church doors on the faithful while congratulating themselves on their obedience to the “lawful authority” which is patently suppressing religion and supplanting our constitutional freedom with Communist totalitarianism? Have you heard about the Indiana priest who denounced Black Lives Matter in the most accurate terms, and was promptly suspended by his feckless bishop, surrendering to a small group who – through social media – made themselves sound like a mob?

Yes, Vatican II was the beginning of what Francescomarta linked to further down, “The Global Reset”. Without Vatican II the apostasy from God through secularisation of Church and world could not have begun.
The Church had to be neutralised before Satan could unveil his new plan for the world, the NWO, and Vatican II, while touted to be a conclusion of Vatican I, was in fact a second Vatican, a Vatican that would be silent henceforth on the Communist and Freemasonic threat to the Church, the Vatican of relativist aggiornamento.
Once the highest Churchmen were on good terms with the world and its “Prince”, the stage was set for the elimination of Christianity from the world, substituted by pseudo religious humanism which is supernaturally meaningless but which gives Catholics a sense that religion is still very much present in the Church and in society.
If Covid-19 has taught us anything it is that the Church, in her Churchmen, has been emptied of God, to quote the late Professor Marra. From the highest to the lowest in clerical orders, they have capitulated in the face of the enemy, cowards all!

Your final paragraph is sadly true, and heartbreaking.
It’s difficult, though, not to see the comical side. We have the traditional priests throwing up their hands to blame the bishops (whom they ignore anyway, because they routinely work outside of the diocesan structures) and we have diocesan priests – like one who contacted me recently – saying how disappointed he is in the SSPX ! They’re all blaming someone else for their own fear and trepidation.
I call it the Garden of Eden Syndrome: it wasn’t me, it was the woman you put with me; wasn’t me, it was the serpent…

In that parish they’re not keeping the two metres social distancing rule. No way! They’re keeping FOUR metres social distance! The photo of the church looked empty – huge spaces, people scattered around. .
I mean, ask yourself – COULD anyone make this stuff up?

You’re right, the blame game is everywhere. What has saddened me greatly in respect to the SSPX, certainly in the UK, is that while it correctly resists the lawful authorities in the Church, Pope, Cardinals, Bishops, etc., when these endanger the faith handed down, it has completely capitulated to godless UK governments in their respective iniquitous laws to close churches down for four months, thereby depriving souls of the very lifeblood they need to get to heaven. I can’t get my head around that. I mean, the priests in the UK could have done so many things to supply for the needs of the faithful during this evil episode, even clandestinely, yet did nothing. Virtual Masses won’t cut it with Our Lord, I’m afraid.
I have been associated with the SSPX for 35 years and I will continue that association for the sake of Archbishop Lefebvre, who was a true and zealous Apostle of Our Lord. There’s no way he’d have taken this assault on public religious worship lying down, that’s for sure, because he was holy, wise and courageous. He would have seen the dangerous precedent that was being set by godless governments and he would have fought it with all his might, I have no doubt about that.

That CO2 level might explain why my middle son, who was serving on a sub, kept getting light-headed, to the point where he had to have a medical discharge.
As or wearing a mask fully over one’s nose, which is required at a food pantry where I volunteer, I stopped doing that because it made me feel sick. Mask dropped below the nose? No problem – leaving me free to sneeze on people to my heart’s content….

We now have several generations, including my own, who have never been taught to think critically. My semi literate granny has not fallen for this because she has a rare condition called “common sense”.

Yes, it’s extremely revealing. It was carried out 4 years ago for the dental profession but applies universally. In fact it’s even more powerful given that it looked at a profession more likely than most to come into contact with other people’s germs.
I’ve posted links to the BMJ review elsewhere. I sum up the views expressed on the efficacy of masks as “mostly useless”.
It is baffling that our UK Government, and the Scottish Government both protest that they are “following the science” when this is blatantly untrue.
Not only is it untrue but is has been contradicted by articles such as this in the BMJ and in comparison published in the MSM. Available online to anyone who asks the question.
Virus particles are very small and no mask available actually works to block their movement 100%. Only full Noddy suits will work, with private air supply like scuba divers.
It is worth noting that viruses can enter the body via the eyes. I will be wearing my old Zorro/Lone Ranger/Dread Pirate Roberts mask when I need to – and that will only be for haircuts. I don’t wish to go to prison yet, though I fear that time will come.

They are wolves in wolves clothing, masked thieves and bandits, seeking only to devour the life of the poor and profit from the fear of others. They are maggots and parasites at best, feeding off the isolation of addiction and broken families, and offering to replace any current frustration and anxiety with more misery and greater resentment. We must stand in solidarity with our brethren across the world to oppose this malevolent force. Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and the other nefarious acolytes of their persuasion are not the friends or allies we have been led to believe. They are serpents in the garden, seeking only to uproot and replant a new species of human made in the likeness of men and not in the image of God. This is the problem with the entire hierarchy of the Catholic Church, it is largely given over to the Prince of this world, it’s bishops being men of luxury and comfort interested only in their career prospects and their bellies, as Scripture puts it.

For the past four weeks a group of us have been meeting each Sunday to say the Rosary outside St Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow in reparation for failure of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church to carry out the requests made by Our Blessed Lord through Our Lady of Fatima.
Two weeks ago the Cathedral was open for private prayer with the Government restrictions in place i.e. wearing of face masks, social distancing, no public prayer etc. We were not prepared to accept these conditions so decided to remain outside. As the Italian Garden Gate (part of the Cathedral grounds) was open we decided to seek some shelter from the wind and rain as our group included an octogenarian, some septuagenarians among others and this also afforded us access to some seating. At the conclusion of the Rosary we passed the main entrance to the Cathedral, we were greeted by the Administrator, Canon Gerard Sharkey with a smile but he made no comment.
Last Sunday, as we congregated (again a cold, wet, miserable day), Canon Sharkey came and asked us to leave the Garden as it was being used as the main exit from the Cathedral. We were not blocking the exit so we asked him why he asked us to leave. He said that we had broken the rules by entering through a gate clearly marked “exit only”. He told us if we wanted entrance to the garden which is only via the Cathedral we could apply in writing and he would consider our request. Canon Sharkey was asked if this was his decision or had he been told to do so. He said it was his own decision.
As, with one exception, we are all Baptised Catholics, we feel we do not need to seek permission to enter Catholic premises to say the Rosary, we have no intention of making any such application. The exception noted here is a lady whose reception into the Church has been delayed due to the incompetence of the Archdiocesan authorities and further delayed by this scamdemic. She has been present at public Rosaries, held every Sunday since Easter Sunday here in Glasgow.

Thank you for that report which sent crashing to the ground the previously positive opinions abut Canon Sharkey which were brought to my attention by the optimists who persistently try to prove to me that, since we have this “orthodox” priest and that traditional leaning” priest, all is not lost. I’ve never met Canon Sharkey but now my desire so to do has dwindled and lies somewhere below minus-zero and zero.
Congratulations to all those brave souls who battled the elements to offer public rosaries. I’m sure they’ve won many graces for their goodness.

What leaps off the page for me is Antoines comment “if I have not needed to wear a mask for the last three months, why now?” Why indeed when right across the uk the number of cases of COVID 19 are falling every day? I suppose it will be argued that it is because lockdown is being eased, more people are about, shops, pubs, zoos, churches etc are re-opening. If there had been a huge rise in cases after the riots and crowded beaches we saw last month then it might have been reasonable I suppose. But nothing happened…
Also I hear that in a local church which has its first Mass today the congregation have been told they may not kneel down in case they breathe on the person in front of them. They must now stand. I mean, who makes this stuff up???

However, the vast – overwhelming – majority of these cases are either “asymptomatic” or are mild flu. Our state has a brand new decree from the governor that we must wear face masks indoors at all business establishments. So after Mass this morning I took a walk to the coffee shop I frequent, and walked in without a mask.
Every customer was wearing a mask – that is, until they sat down to drink or eat. Apparently the absurdity and insanity of wearing masks part-time didn’t occur to anyone. Or if it did, they seemingly preferred to be obedient little subjects to tyranny.
Feeling a little mischievous, I apologized to one of the barristas with whom I always chat, for forgetting my mask. Then I said “But don’t call the storm troopers on me!” She laughed and said “OMG” in mock dismay.
Whenever I have to go out to run errands, I feel like I’ve landed on another planet. Who are these aliens clad in masks? Did they used to be Americans?

If you look closely at the foot of each graph it says “Source: Scottish Government”. I don’t see anything in the P&J page that suggests we can trust their data. Besides that, “testing”, which they keep going on about, is useless as the virus has never been identified using the correct scientific method of Koch’s Postulates. They are using a generic flu test whose parameters can be set in such a way that it wither produces masses of positives or masses of negatives. In other words, test results are completely unreliable.

Precisely because the test is so unreliable and our trust in the system has been seriously undermined in recent months (notwithstanding our high opinion of the nursing and medical team attending to Anthony) the family is naturally worried about the possible outcome.

Belatedly, yes it is based on Scottish Government figures. The presentation of the figures on the Government website has been outsourced and is not very good.
This P&J version is much more readable. The figures are mostly meaningless, except as far as new cases go. On the Government’s own terms however, it looks as if it is pretty much over.
We may have 20,000 empty NHS beds and 400 empty Intensive Care Units because the numbers in hospital are numbered in hundreds and in ICU in single figures.
The “testing”and recording is worthless as “with” and “from” have been interchangeable on death certificates.
We do not know how many have had it, and never will. The numbers being tested are such that it would take several years to test everyone…

These generic flu tests that produces masses of positive tests are being used to disrupt the food chain thus creating food shortages by the testing of the workers, who surprise, surprise come back positive and therefore have to be quarantined causing a feeling of panic. As well as attacks on the food chain, they will target cash, so any money withdrawn from a cash machine, will state the money has been quarantined, In other words, handling cash could kill you! Yes. The opportunity that the Covid-19 pandemic has provided has been seized upon to work towards a New World Order. One wonders if Covid-19 was made and spread as a reason for all subsequent responses.
