UK: Second Lockdown Inevitable – Will The Public Continue To Obey, Or Rebel?

Comment:

In the highly likely event of another full-scale national lockdown (which is sure to include Scotland), will the people continue to comply unquestioningly?  Will it dawn on anyone that no Government can eradicate a virus – otherwise, thousands would not die from the flu every winter… Will it dawn on anyone?

But here’s the key point for consideration.  The previous lockdown was sold to us as being of very short duration – and look at us now.  Is this second, highly likely lockdown (despite the thin protestations that this is not what anyone in Government wants to happen) likely to only last for the proposed two weeks?  Really?  Or is that as likely as the Government handing back its “emergency” powers when the “emergency” has passed.  No question mark there, because that’s a rhetorical question.  Share your thoughts.

Some of us have been campaigning locally and find much apparent nonchalance; it remains to be seen whether we have made much impact, once people go away and think about what we’ve told them. Most people just want to get by and go with the flow for a quiet life. I hope they will come to realise that the only way to stop bullies is to stand up to them.
One of our number was really shocked to find among a small minority, real animosity-almost hatred- among, e.g, “maskers” against “non- maskers”, which amounted to an almost religious zeal ! They think if you won’t wear a mask etc then you’re selfish and don’t care.

      Mary,

I have the same experience all the time. It’s really impossible to comprehend how these people are thinking – or should that be “not thinking”.

And yes, these obedient people find it easier to name-call those who are not wearing masks as “selfish£ etc than to to the bother of investigating the mask issue for themselves. They are so programmed to believe that the Government cares about them, they cannot think that this just might not be true! Wait until they find out – that’ll be a sight to see!

I’m both skeptical and optimistic about this (go figure that one out, Editor!). Skeptical because I don’t think there will be a critical mass of protesting until the dead and injured bodies from lethal mandatory vaccines start piling up.

On the other hand, optimistic because the satanists always overplay their hand, and their minions are essentially clever but not very intelligent and always end up being caught in their own lies. What the overplay will be about this, I don’t know, but it has to be something outrageous that gains wide publicity, even in the controlled media, and makes large numbers of people wake up. Hopefully that will happen before the lethal vaccines arrive.

      RCA Victor,

My optimism is now out the window. We’re going into a second lockdown, that is for sure now and I’m feeling defeated.

We do need to pray hard for the Consecration of Russia. It’s getting more and more urgent, if we are ever to live as free people again.

        Laura,

I agree. It’s definitely coming and nobody will raise a voice in protest. It’s really unbelievable.

What I wish they would do is stop talking about the number of “cases” and start telling us in plain English how many people are in hospital confirmed as having the virus and how many deaths have been. Not just “cases” or “positive tests”. That doesn’t mean anything to most people.

The number is hospital diagnosed with Covid-19 and the number who die every day. That’s what I want to know. Not percentages or number of “cases”.

I’m suspicious, like I’ve never been before, about each and every politician in the UK, especially since there is no opposition to any of this from any opposition party.

      • RCAVictor

        Fidelis (not Josephine…),

The number of “cases” is an essential part of the scam. That number is derived from the PCR tests, which generate 80-100% false positives. Further, a “case” in standard medical terms is someone who is actually sick.

If you don’t have symptoms, you’re not a “case.” So this is a double-deception.

        RCA Victor, et al,

The use of language is deliberately designed – with the percentage figures – to drive the fear factor and keep everyone in line. Here’s a short video – it’s the London Evening Standard, so it’s totally on message… Note the length of this next lockdown is said to be between two and six weeks for which read “the foreseeable future”. As I keep saying we are not coming out of this anytime soon – if ever, this side of the Consecration of Russia…

      • Mary Anne

Thanks. I had forgotten. Then again… your last sentence is so true. Maybe maybe just some of the bishops were not in the state of sanctifying grace. God may be more inclined to listen to a Protestant president who is just beginning to learn about Catholicism. It seems He has an eye on Trump in any case. He listened to Abel rather than Cain. Does that make sense?

I’ve just received the latest update from the Keep Britain Free group, which I reproduce below…

    Dear Supporters,

This week we have received some incredibly frustrating news. Our legal challenge against the Government has been delayed yet again! Originally scheduled to go ahead on September 23, our hearing has been pushed back by a further month to October 29.

The excuse this time … one of the Government’s 11-strong team is on holiday and the availability of suitably senior judges to hear the case on alternative dates was also a factor.

As you know, the appeal was ordered to be heard by Lord Justice Hickinbottom who said that the legal challenge “potentially raises fundamental issues concerning the proper spheres for democratically-accountable Ministers of the Government and judges.”

With rumors of a second national lockdown gaining pace, this case is of the utmost importance to the entire nation. We believe that further delays only highlight the Government’s inability to face up to the disastrous decisions it’s made over the past six months.

Just this week, the British public has once again had its liberties stomped on with the implementation of the ‘rule of 6’. And now MPs are actively encouraging us to snitch on our own neighbors if we see them flouting these utterly absurd measures, with the Home Secretary claiming that families would be breaking the rules by merely ‘mingling’ in the street.

This marks the first time since the 1300s that mingling is an offence under English law. If that doesn’t evidence the greatest impingement on our human rights, then I don’t know what does!

On top of this, in their latest knee-jerk reaction, almost two million people in the North-East of England will be banned from mixing with other households and restaurants will have to shut by 10pm. This all comes into effect from midnight tonight.

How much more of this anti-life diktat do we have to put up with before people say ENOUGH?

Lockdown is a murderous tool which our leaders claim is imperative to protect those who are vulnerable to the disease. But what about those who are vulnerable to lockdown too?

We have seen in recent weeks that the Government, by its own admission, is willing to break the law. It cannot be allowed that these actions go unchecked and I urge everyone to consider the ramifications which the lockdown has had on our freedoms and liberties.

Action must be taken now to bring our leaders to account for the unforgivable damage done and to ensure that going forward, legislation is adequately scrutinized and challenged.

Therefore, it is vital that we gather as much support as we can. To help us in our mission, please continue to share our updates, our cause and the link to our Crowdjustice fund with your networks. I am just lost for words when I compare the snowflake interviewing the Health Minister on UK Sky News up at the top of this page, with the reporters on Sky News in Australia. I think this one is very interesting because you see the awful man in charge of the Victoria area (?state) Dan Andrews, denying he ever saw the video of the pregnant woman who was arrested and is now facing jail. The whole report is only around 10 minutes and worth watching through.

      Fidelis,

Daniel Andrews is an out and out dictator – I don’t understand the Australian system of governance but somebody, surely, needs to get this man out of office and as far away as possible from human beings.

I’m a great fan of Australian Sky News, and of Bolt in particular, as well as Alan Jones – they are terrific anchors. But even they, I notice, take the position that social distancing etc is necessary. It would be refreshing to find even one reporter or anchor who said openly that none of this is remotely necessary.

Oops! I’ve just wakened up! That was a lovely dream 😀

I can’t stand the thought of a second lockdown. This is making the people of this country become really horrible people. I think this person, in the Breitbart report, sums up all that is wrong with Britain today – imagine snitching on people at a wake. Even when people are suffering a bereavement they are not going to escape this evil snitching.
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/09/18/snitching-begins-nosey-neighbour-calls-police-wake-pub-garden/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=daily&utm_campaign=20200918

I’ve copied out this paragraph because it shows how calculated the government is being:

“The fear and support for an authoritarian British state may have been by design, though. Initially, YouGov polling from March 13th found that most Britons were not scared of contracting the virus. The government thought this was problematic, with a briefing note from March 22nd stating that “the perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent” including “using hard-hitting emotional messaging”.

“To be effective this must also empower people by making clear the actions they can take to reduce the threat,” it added.”

    That is absolutely disgraceful, IMHO.

I notice reports this morning that Sadiq Khan, the useless mayor of London, is keen for more restrictions to be put in place now, no delay, he says. The emphasis now is on this “second wave” – never mind that there was never any first wave.

I’m suspicious that it will be now, in this “second wave” that we will see even more draconian action by the police. I hope I’m wrong, but I think things are about to worsen, considerably.

        Theresa Rose and Lily,

I watched the 10pm edition of Sky News, for about twenty minutes, which was devoted to the latest oppressive rules from Downing Street, before moving on to report a hurricane in Greece.

Twice – during the segment on the new Covid rules – the protest in Trafalgar Square was was mentioned in passing, with the attendance being reported as being “in the hundreds” – I wonder if they’ve underestimated the numbers: see the video clips below, but note that these clips are not remotely like the two ultra-short clips shown on Sky News where there was no sign of any great crowds; their clips showed only a bunch of police officers leaning down behind a wall, as if restraining someone, and not much more.

Unsurprisingly, we are not being allowed to hear any of the speakers; The Telegraph clip has a shot of one female speaker shouting something, but I can’t make out what she is saying. That was short, if not too sweet.

The fact that such demonstrations are not the subject of a proper report, interviews with attendees and analysis, just serves to underline the uselessness of the broadcasting media in the UK.

Sky News in the UK has clearly nothing remotely in common with Sky News Australia, where the anchors are intelligent and probing. The most “probing” we get on the news here, is the sort of weak “questioning” of Matt Hancock by the lightweight Kay Burley (see the clip at the top of this thread), who is about as good at investigative journalism and challenging interviews with politicians as I would be behind the wheel of a Jumbo Jet.

I was at the rally at Trafalgar Square and there were thousands. When the Riot Police finally broke up the rally, after about four hours, most of the speakers had finished. The Police surrounded Trafalgar Square but a group of protesters numbering well over a thousand approx , managed to break out and protest down Whitehall near Downing Street.

The police tried to stop the rally earlier, about 90 minutes in, but this was thwarted by ex members of the SAS who were coordinating the push back against the Police. The ex SAS got Kate Sharirani to get the men in the crowd to link arms and push the Police back (but no violence was stipulated at all times) . The Police retreated, the rally carried on. After this failure by the Police, 60 Riot vans of TSG Riot Police started to arrive over the next two hours, then finally the Riot Police went in. One of their main targets was to get Kate Sharimani, but the ex SAS soldiers disguised her and she was spirited away – the Police failed to get her.

If ex members of the SAS know that Boris is now working for a foreign power (the New World Order) then I’m sure the active members will know this too. Boris will be looking over his shoulder at this new development!

        Francescomarta,

WOW! That’s brilliant having your first-hand account published here – many thanks.

And I’m astonished and delighted that those men doing the linked arms pushback are actually ex-members of the SAS – that is fantastic. I thought they looked very organised for such a (presumably) impromptu pushback. They’ve obviously been prepared for such an eventuality.

The police are such a mystery right now. Do they not realise that some day they won’t BE police officers but will be subject to the same tyranny as the rest of us?

Fantastic, too, that they got so close to Downing Street. I’m astounded at the numbers, but even I, with my poor grasp of arithmetic and maths, knew that here we had no crowd comprising “hundreds”. Sky – fake – News, as ever.

Again, thank you for posting this – Oh and I was delighted to see in another clip from the Independent, I think, that there were some Scots there, wearing the Scottish Flag on their T Shirts and shouting for freedom! Wonderful. I wish that group would organise a similar demo up here – I would attend in a heartbeat.

It’s so unusual to be presented with a more balanced view, as is the case with Alex Belfield. The papers will be spending their time character assassinating the crowd and Kate Shemirani in the next few days.

The actions of the press was mentioned at the rally by a speaker who revealed that journalist were told they had to follow the narrative of Government when Covid 1984 started. Dr Vernon Coleman also revealed that if the press did not follow what Boris wanted with regard to the virus then the government would pull advertising on the paper (if I recall correctly).

The number of Police that charged at Trafalgar Square was higher than the clip I previously posted as the Riot Police came in from other sides at the same time as well. So to see the video below comparing how differently the Police treat protesters will certainly grate with many people across the UK.

Brilliant commentary and images, shows what’s going on under this government is wholly unlawful and has to stop.

The police didn’t charge the Marxist/Anarchist rioters a few months back when statues were being hauled down, buildings defaced and people assaulted, but they charge on a peaceful gathering of law-abiding citizens merely exercising their right to peaceful protest.

People should report the police for this, it’s criminal rioting that they’re supposed to stop, not inititate. The police function in this country by consent of the people for the good of the people. Now we find that they are acting as a government strong arm, just as in any dictatorship. I have now lost all respect for the police force, whose Chief Constables should face trial and prison for subverting democratic freedom.

There is a parish I sometimes visit for confession, and today confessions took place during a two hour session of adoration. In order to participate, name and contact number had to be given. Obviously, this doesn’t per se violate the anonymity of confession, but still, it’s surely unacceptable that a Catholic must give his personal details in order to approach the confessional? The parish also said on their website that the parish priest would be committing a criminal offense if he did not enforce the rule that Mass attendees must book their place at Mass. Apparently, the new rules are now 25 people per Mass. This is ludicrous. I was at a restaurant today, there were at least that number present, and none of us were social distancing or wearing masks. Religion has been reduced to a hobby, not a necessity, and the bishops should have made this clear to the government.

      Miles Immaculatae,

I think you are forgetting – or perhaps unaware – that it was the bishops who approached the Government and suggested that the churches should close – that is, they offered to close the churches. They are highly unlikely, therefore, to complain about these measures. And if there’s a second wholesale lockdown, they’ll do exactly the same thing again – I do not have a shred of doubt about that, not a scintilla…

We are dealing with apostates. There is no other word for them – well, that’s not true. I can think of loads of words for them but my personal dictionary is not (yet) for public consumption!

I knew it was true, but I just can’t believe it. I knew they were bad, but not this bad. I suppose a greater spiritual good will come of this (e.g. more conversions to Tradition), and this is a consolation.

The pop singer Van Morrison (if you remember the 60s, you may remember him) (but as Robin Williams, RIP, once noted, if you remember the 60s, you probably weren’t there!) has recorded 3 protest songs against the UK lockdown:

    “By: MSN, September 18, 2020;

The Northern Irish singer-songwriter will release the new tracks — named “Born To Be Free”, “As I Walked Out”, and “No More Lockdown” — at two-week intervals from September 25.

“Morrison makes it clear in his new songs how unhappy he is with the way the government has taken away personal freedoms,” a statement said on his website announcing the releases.

In one of the trio of records, the musician sings: “No more government overreach / No more fascist bullies / Disturbing our peace.”

In another, he sings: “No more taking of our freedom / And our God given rights / Pretending it’s for our safety / When it’s really to enslave.”

Morrison also claims scientists are “making up crooked facts” to justify the restrictions, the BBC reported.

Morrison said in a statement that he was “not telling people what to do or think”.

“The government is doing a great job of that already.

“It’s about freedom of choice, I believe people should have the right to think for themselves.”

The “Brown Eyed Girl” singer had already stirred controversy last month when reportedly urging people to “fight the pseudoscience” around Covid-19, before he staged several socially distanced performances in England.

“It’s not economically viable to do socially distanced gigs,” he said, urging the music industry “to fight with me on this.”

      RCA Victor,

Thank you for this – I’ve just subscribed to his newsletter. This could be interesting!

I do know the name, Van Morrison, but can’t pretend to remember his performances

Anyway, it’s good that someone in that murky business is speaking out. Or should that be “singing out”!

    Dear Editor,
In answer to your question, regrettably the sheeple will continue to follow the wolves and do as they are told.
Meanwhile I see that we have a Scottish Catholic Education Director (indoctrinator) called Mrs Barbara Couper.
She is taking part in a series of talks with Justice and Peace and CAFOD to mark the 5th anniversary of Pope Francis’ letter to the Church “On our Common Home” as she calls it. Otherwise known as his Marxists manifesto Laduto Si.
She / they want to show how Scotland can imbed it within its schools.
It is called A seven year journey towards becoming Laudato Si schools.
I thought that you Editor would be an enthusiastic supporter of this considering your background – sarcasm.
I found this on the Dunkeld News website for October.
As I do not want to upset RCAVictor by demonstrating my inability to do links – you will have to take my word that I did not make this satanic nonsense up, it really is happening.

      Patrick,

Since Mrs Barbara Coupar has already seen to it that LGBT+ “rights” are embedded in Catholic schools, I cannot pretend to be surprised that she’s now embedding daft environmentalism as well.

It’s a wonder they’re not (yet) offering Satanic worship in the lunch-hour. A wee while to go before that, it seems.

To combat the damage done by Barbara Coupar, please circulate this video by three Godly men who ask Catholic Bishops to stop supporting immoral Sex Education at our Catholic Schools to corrupt the children.

Also note that Nurse Kate Shemirani (she has a very interesting twitter page) warns parents that Nurses are going into the Schools “up and down the Country” and giving the Children without the Parent’s knowledge or consent a flu mist Vaccine nasally. This Vaccine contains aluminum and mercury. It is also going into the air so it can be breathed in.

I also found this leaflet online outlining Flu Vaccination in Schools 2020 – 2021

Do Parents know? They are going after our Children, spread this information far and wide.

Editor: I removed the pdf link because it did not download and took up a large amount of blank space! To find it, search for vaccine briefing programme for schools team and headteachers, 20-21 – that should bring up the same pdf link but it’s not copying so just read it yourself at source.

        Francescomarta,

I wondered if this is what you were referring to? It’s called a programme briefing for schools but I can’t see anything that says “vaccine leaflet”, so I thought I would try to see if this is what you mean.

Editor: the link you posted is, in fact, the same link posted by Francescomarta but for some reason it won’t open anywhere. If bloggers wish to read it, just search for vaccination programme briefing for schools team and headteachers. It is in pdf format.

Oh! That didn’t download either – that’s weird. I think people just need to search for vaccine programme briefing for schools 20-21 and there are a few links that come up. They’re obviously not for passing on! That’s sinister – I’ve never known that before. I’m sorry to say I think I’m turning into a conspiracy theorist!

I see you had issues with the download as well. Thanks for pointing commentators to search for Vaccination programme in schools.
The more you find out what is going on, the more you realise how sinister everything is when it comes to poisoning children. No wonder they have them wearing masks, they know they are not at risk, but it wearing a masks will harm them physically and mentally.

      Patrick,

Au contraire, mon frere, if you are a golfer, then you should be quite adept at links….

      Are you referring to this?

        RCA Victor,

Very interesting – and disappointing. Bishop Robson has the reputation of being the nearest we’ve got to a “traditional leaning” bishop. See my reply to Patrick, below.

    RCAVictor,

Mucho gratias Senor, or gura miela maith aught, where I come from .
Thank you for looking out for us old ‘uns.

I could have done with a good caddy like you yesterday, as I made many errors due to poor club selection.
Do you know anyone who would buy a set of clubs which have not been hit out of the middle?
I see the link you connect to has the same problem as I had with a lot of gobbledegook. Never the less Bishop Robson is in a minority of one when it comes to the socialists Scottish bishopric..

      Patrick,

Is he? Really? I was of that opinion myself until I heard about a priest in the Diocese of Dunkeld who had restored the Tabernacle to its central place in the sanctuary, only to have a parishioner complain to the Bishop who instructed him to RE-restore it to a side spot.

Now, I don’t know the priest concerned and I didn’t hear that from him, so it’s maybe been spun in the telling, and that is my hope, because hitherto, we’ve had high hopes of Bishop Robson being Scotland’s “Father Altman”.

I’m refusing, however, to hold my breath. Especially now that I see he has “Laudate Si schools” in his diocese. Goodness me, whatever next?”

  • Patrick Healy

    Dear Editor,
Thank you for that. I had not heard of the tabernacle issue, but it would not surprise me as there are so many misguided busy bodies about.
The NWO Laudate Si communist indoctrination thing is not over here yet – just on the left hand side of Scotland at the moment, but no doubt on its way.
The Bishop is in a minority of one among the Scottish hierarchy on scientific matters – I can vouch for that.

Well, Patrick, I’m more interested in finding a bishop who is “in a minority of one” on Catholic matters – science I can live without (in a manner of speaking!)

I was once of the opinion that Bishop Robson WAS/IS that bishop – I’m not so sure any more. Sadly.

This woman decided not to obey and smashed up her local shop
    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/woman-smashes-up-shelves-of-wine-in-co-op-after-being-asked-to-follow-covid-rules/ar-BB19nLdW?ocid=msedgdhp

Unlike the BLM people who got no punishment for damaging statues etc, she’s been punished, although lightly considering the fines being handed out these days. It must have been her lucky day to meet a friendly cop!
