Money Matters: Legal Challenges Ahead For Government Over Restrictions…

A reader emailed the text of a letter which he is sending to Rishi Sunak MP, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, today.  I have decided to withhold this reader’s name, given the sinister nature of policing in the name of Covid-19, where people are being criminalised for behaviours and actions which previously were part and parcel of life in a free country.  If you think you know the identity of the author of the letter below, please do not publish it – you may be right or you may be wrong, but things are worsening here in the UK and since we do not know what lies ahead (think Victoria, Australia)  we do not want to put any of our readers at risk of being criminalised.  Over the top, you think?  Well, hopefully,  but the signs are not good, so this is an occasion when we are all wiser to exercise prudence.

LETTER

Dear Mr. Sunak,

I am now six months furloughed from work with no end in sight to this Covid-19 insanity, thanks to a reckless Prime Minister who has trampled the British economy and the civil liberties of the British people underfoot in a manner that is both historically and constitutionally unprecedented.

Evidently reluctant to admit that he was misled back in March by the now-discredited Professor Neil Ferguson and his wild apocalyptic Covid “model”, Boris Johnson has decided to maintain a “plague upon us” terror narrative, quoting further scientific doomsday predictions via Matt Hancock in order to justify a continuation of totalitarian police state abuses on this country and its people.

Well I can assure you and the Prime Minister that if and when my employment is terminated as a result of this government’s appalling subjugation of parliamentary democracy and due process, I fully intend to sue in court for loss of earnings.

There is very little distinction to be made now between the governance of the UK and that of Communist China, such is the “new normal” of the  present Beijing-like dictatorship, complete with psychological terror tactics, dehumanising face coverings, increased surveillance, civilian informants and misuse of the police to enforce unconstitutional suppression of basic human freedoms.

Indeed if I am not mistaken, a policy of forced vaccination with RNA or DNA-altering concoctions is now being considered in line with existing cattle herding rules of when and where people may congregate, how many may gather at any given time, when and how they must isolate from each other, where they must stand relative to each other, etc. This is intolerable and unjustifiable behaviour on the part of any democratically-elected government.

Thankfully our judicial system remains neutral for now and continues to judge by facts rather than by propaganda.

Hence I am confident that when presented with official statistics and declarations, such as Sir Chris Whitty’s assurance on May 11 that for most people “Covid-19 is harmless”, a truth since borne out with figures showing a 0.06% death toll in the UK and a “no threat” percentage of 99.7% for the global population, objective judges up and down the land will recognise and condemn this government’s inexcusable behaviour, not least the lunacy of attempting to eradicate a virus by locking down the entire country.

You politicians appear to have forgotten that you are elected to serving office, not to ruling power. Like the police force, you exercise authority by the consent of the people for the people. It is not in your remit to assume to yourselves arbitrary powers to suspend democracy and set the country on a path of economic destruction under the pretext of a “national emergency” which evidence suggests never existed.

Had you been faced with the Spanish Flu pandemic of the early 20th century, a virus that killed over 100 million people globally, young and old, then perhaps you would have been able to justify the present draconian measures. As things stand, however, less than 1 million people are said to have died of Covid-19 around the world, the vast majority being frail elderly locked down in care homes and people with serious underlying health conditions.

To put it in even clearer context, the global death toll associated with Covid-19 amounts to barely one third of annual deaths from various causes in the U.S. Indeed a bad seasonal flu year can see global deaths reach 650,000. So what is really going on here?

Why are social media platforms like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook actively and collectively suppressing every medical and scientific expert voice raised in opposition to the Coronavirus terror narrative of the WHO, whose Secretary General is a Marxist known to have initially silenced the Covid outbreak at the behest of Beijing?

You will doubtless be aware that the U.S. Administration withdrew funding from the WHO in response to this suspicious behaviour of its Secretary General and his subsequent praising of that brutal Beijing regime’s methods of virus control, yet our UK government continues to allow this ideologically-dubious entity to direct its Covid-19 response policy, namely, the aforementioned “new normal”.

In addition to overwhelming evidence that the Covid-19 pandemic is not remotely plague-like, it can be shown that this virus has never been properly categorised in accordance with established scientific method and that testing is therefore seriously flawed resulting in massive numbers of false positives and negatives, as reported daily in the media. Is this why we’re seeing sudden surges in infection rates while acute hospital beds remain empty?

Covid-19 is not a silent assassin poised to leap from person to person in an apocalyptic mass killing spree. At worst it’s a Chinese respiratory virus whose UK death toll is exactly half that of the Asian Flu epidemic of the late 1960s. Hence these lockdowns and the 24/7 psychological terror campaign unleashed to ensure compliance with them has to stop now. This is free democratic Britain, not Communist China!

Boris Johnson was elected to office on the promise of freeing the United Kingdom from enslavement to the Socialist EU and its Brussels “Supreme Soviet”. How utterly tragic for our country that while appearing to fulfil that mandate he has simultaneously implemented a totalitarian model of governance that is terrifyingly similar to that of Beijing.

He needs to reflect on that alignment very quickly and seriously because I detect growing numbers of people in this country beginning to question the propaganda and losing patience as they see their freedom and economic future slip away from them.   Ends.

Hot off the press – the latest from the UK Government medical and scientific advisers in special live TV bulletin this morning; the figures, it seems to me, do not add up just checking the stats in the above letter from a reader. In other words, the scaremongering goes on…
    https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/uk-coronavirus-update-chris-whitty-patrick-vallance-50000-cases-a4552171.html

In case you miss it, this statement is reported at the foot of the Evening Standard page:

Sir Patrick Vallance issued a stark warning to the nation: that ‘speed’ and ‘action’ are needed to reverse the spread of infections.

      Editor,

I saw that live announcement from the two medical advisers this morning, but there was no sign of Boris Johnson or Matt Hancock, so it looks like it’s doctors running the country now. They were doing everything in their power to instil fear into us. All they succeeded in doing, in my case, was to make me see right through them and feel nothing but contempt for them.

The government’s figures have never added up because they are invented by the day to maintain the fear factor, as that letter to the Chancellor shows. It’s all scaremongering tactics, psychology being used against the people of the UK to bring about a massive geopolitical shift in world politics.

      Athanasius,

I totally agree. It’s all about scaremongering, keeping us under control. It said on the news that Nicola Sturgeon was going to make an announcement tomorrow after the Cobra meeting with Boris so that means Scotland is in for tighter restrictions again. It’s terribly depressing. God help people with diagnosed mental health issues which I am blessed not to have but if those poor souls are suffering because of these restrictions, I fully sympathise because even without mental health issues, I’m feeling really down about this. It is extremely depressing.

        Great point.

The author of that letter is a champion of truth and deserves to be treated as such. Nowadays, however, truth is toxic – an inverted situation which has been under construction for a long time, via a variety of issues (LGBT, Muslims, climate change, open borders, etc.), and carefully prepared.

This inversion clearly indicates where all this originates. But try telling that to our hierarchy, let alone the government. After all, dontcha know, Hell is empty.

Well, if Hell is empty, it’s because all of its inhabitants have now been released to the earth’s surface, to wreak their devastation and doom.

I would go even further than the author and say that the UK government’s behavior is identical to Red China’s, and in fact is modeled upon it. Or should I say, modeled upon the 2010 Rockefeller Foundation report….

I agree that this has definitely been long and well planned. I said months ago that come October there would be a second lockdown to interfere with the U.S. election process. This is what lies at the heart of the Covid-19 scam-demic, it has nothing to do with health and all to do with geopolitics.

As for the Church’s bishops, they sold out to the prince of this world a long time ago. It is now in their nature to collect regular offerings of 30 pieces of silver from government coffers.

      RCA Victor,

I agree that the author of the letter is “a champion of truth” – I hope his letter makes the Chancellor think carefully but the politicians are all so cocky and drunk on their abuse of power, that I can’t help but doubt it.

On the other hand, I don’t think he or the PM will get many letters of complaint since the majority are going along with it all no problem. They’re blind as bats.

      RCA Victor,

You are absolutely correct – the author of the letter to the Chancellor of the Exchequer is powerful. Let’s hope it hits home.

      RCA Victor,

The author of the letter is “a champion of truth” as you say – the trouble is, so few people know the truth and believe the government propaganda without doing any research of their own. I’m amazed at how many people I meet who just think because the government says it, it must be true. Even when I tell them that the President of Belarus revealed he had been offered a bribe by the World Bank to introduce the Covid restrictions and turn his country into a police state, and so when he refused, the elite who run the world organised the uprising in his country, they just say it sounds like a conspiracy theory! There are none so blind as those who will not see.

        Michaela,

I think the blindness of a world that has rejected God has extended even to some of the “children of the light.” The very air we breathe is saturated with apostasy, rebellion, pride, occultism, scientism (including evolution), degeneracy and insanity. If people don’t breathe in Tradition and don’t fortify themselves with it, they are either lost or in severe danger of becoming lost.

Lost, in the current situation, to this new dogma:

Outside governmental decrees there is no salvation (safety).

That is an excellent letter and I hope the person who wrote does actually sue for loss of earnings if he loses his job or money due to the lockdown which looks like it’s going to be returned.

This is an interview with Peter Hitchens on TalkRadio and it begins with the press conference by the two medical experts who are advising the government. I just do not believe the numbers they give. I think they are not telling the truth at all.

      Josephine,

I’ll catch up with the Peter Hitchens interview asap – it’s over 40 minutes long, so having been away from my computer for most of the day, I’ve not had time to watch/listen. I’ve been a bit disappointed in Hitchens, though, after his initial plain speaking. He seems to have toned down a lot and goes in for the “balanced” approach – maybe that interview will see him back to his original position, now that a fresh lockdown is, more likely than not, on the way.

I thought I’d post this Alan Jones clip from Sky News Australia – I’ve now got a taste for Sky New Australian from this blog, LOL! Alan is one of my absolute favourites because he doesn’t mince his words. There’ also a quote from a Professor at the University of Edinburgh on this clip. It’s titled The Country’s in a Mess, so it applies to the UK, as well:

    • Athanasius

Lily that Alan Jones doesn’t miss the target, does he? Brilliant forthright truth, I wish we had someone in the media like that in the UK. Sadly they’re all bought in this country, or silenced by the Intelligence services.

      Lily,

I absolutely LOVE Alan Jones. I keep meaning to search for his contact details and email him to tell him how much we appreciate his reporting, over here.

That is one of his typically brilliant reports – and note the Professor from the University of Edinburgh; we should recognise his name here in Scotland but – well, speaking for myself – don’t. I have never heard of him which suggests he’s not exactly hiding in plain sight.

    Lily,

That was powerful stuff from Alan Jones. If only we had him over here on Sky instead of the snowflakes we’re stuck with.

That’s an impressive letter sent to the chancellor. I hope he takes it in and acts on it, but I have a feeling nothing will get through to these politicians. I hope when this is over there will be a day of reckoning for all involved.

I share your hope that all politicians and others involved in the enforcement of these totalitarian rules will one day be brought to account in a court of law for their crimes.

The CDC is up to its old flip-flopping tricks again, this time about airborne transmission of the virus, and has even got the WHO confused:

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-8756787/CDC-says-guidance-coronavirus-spreads-air-posted-ERROR.html

And the nonsense published by these “experts” is what is being taken as the Virus Ten Commandments by most governments (translation: dictatorships) in the once-free West. I wish someone would invent a medical test that would test for stupidity, dishonesty, hypocrisy and lowness of character, and make it mandatory for all seekers of public office.

For those who test positive: “Sorry, you will remain permanently at your bureaucratic post, vice-president in charge of sitting by the door.”

    September 22, 2020 at 1:02 am
    • Athanasius

      RCAVictor

That’s about the third flip-flop on Covid-19 by the CDC in a fortnight, very much in the trend of the WHO. These people simply have no idea what they’re talking about and yet, as you say, their dictats are treated like the Ten Commandments. Well, I suppose when humanity turns away from the true God it needs another deity to fill the gap. In this case it’s the god of science who enjoys changing the doctrine and the rules every few days.

This is an interview with Jeff Wyatt, the man at the London protest, who was holding up a placard saying “this is now tyranny” – it’s on the Anna Brees channel, Anne being a former BBC Reporter who is not happy with the bias in reporting.

    September 22, 2020 at 10:47 am
    • Lily

Jeff is very good, very clued in, but I was disappointed at Anna Brees, she was fence-sitting. I’ve no time for the “one foot in, one foot out” people. You are either going along with this nonsense or you see it for the tyranny it is. She doesn’t seem to be 100% in either category.

      • editor

        Lily,

I agree – he knows what is going on – unlike Anna who seems to be doing her best to “see both sides”. Of course, that may well be to prevent her channel from being removed by YouTube. I’m inclined to think that is the case. Anyway it was great to hear first hand from someone who had attended the London demonstration – as we heard from our own blogger, Francescomarta. It makes all the difference to hear first hand accounts, in these days when we just cannot – if we ever did – trust the media reports.

Jeff is a hero! I hope we hear more of him. If the MSM was doing its job, he’d be interviewed on every channel from now to Christmas.

As much as this person claims in an email that she will take the government to court, it’s just not going to happen. If a person is furloughed they are hardly going to have a money to take a government to court. So, no, legal cases are not in the offing.

Ever heard of “Crowdfunding” and “Justicefunding”? These methods have allowed all kinds of little people sue the mighty. I guess that’s what the letter’s author intends.

      • Nicky

        Athanasius,

I think there would be no shortage of people willing to contribute to such a fund – and if enough people were to do that, I think lawyers would come forward to take on a class action.

It’s also possible that the author of the letter has either friends or relatives who are lawyers which is why he (it specifies a male in the introduction, although that could be a red herring, LOL!) is confident enough to threaten the government with legal action. I, for one, hope he gets the chance, although I have to be honest and say I’m not as confident in the courts as he is. Look at how they’ve delayed the Keep Britain Free appeal, after the original judge said there were matters that ought to be explored.

        September 22, 2020 at 2:43 pm
      • Athanasius

        Nicky,

I agree. I think a lot of people would fund such a case against the government, which truly does have serious legal and constitutional questions to answer. Anyone whose livlihood has been harmed by these illicit lockdowns, and that’s just about the entire population of Britain, would willingly, I’m sure, contribute a few pounds towards calling the government to account.

Sadly I also have to agree with your concern that our justice system may not be as just as the author hopes. The Keep Britain Free case is definitely one that raises concerns in this regard. The only hope is that we have more honourable judges in the country than government bought ones.

Putting all that aside, though, the very sending of that letter together with various demonstrations and legal cases taking place elsewhere lets these abusers of office that they’re not going to get away with their crimes against the country without a fight.

That was a great letter to the Chancellor. I hope he reads it personally – I sometimes wonder if they see the letters from the public or if some subordinate reads them and even answers them without the politician knowing anything about them. That would be a disgrace, but what else is new.

I definitely agree that an awful lot of people would contribute to a fund to take legal action. More people than we realise are getting totally fed up with this whole scam.
