USA Election: Priest On Voting Priorities – Warns Against “Catholic” Biden…
Note: The video sermon originally posted here to launch the discussion is no longer available on YouTube…
Comment:
Even without the above excellent sermon I could not see how any American Catholic could vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. After listening to the sermon, I’d dearly love to hear from any Catholic who still intends to vote for the Democratic Party. If every priest in the USA preached like that, there would be no question whatsoever about the outcome of the November election. Therefore, let’s pray, in the remaining time, for some lights to switch on in the heads of currently less enlightened or less courageous priests. As the priest in the video says, this election is a battle for the soul of America, no less – it is, unarguably, a battle for the soul of the free world. Archbishop Fulton Sheen is quoted in the above sermon. Here’s the Archbishop again, on the charge that the Church interferes in politics…
“… Is this true? It all depends upon what you mean by politics. If by interference in politics is meant using influence to favor a particular regime, party, or system that respects the basic God-given rights and freedom of persons, the answer is emphatically No! The Church does not interfere in politics. If by interference in politics is meant judging or condemning a philosophy of life that makes the party or state, or the class, or the race, the source of all rights, and that usurps the soul and enthrones party over conscience and denies those basic rights for which the war was fought, the answer is emphatically Yes!
The Church does judge such a philosophy. But when it does this, it is not interfering with politics, for such politics is no longer politics but theology. When a state sets itself up as absolute as God, when it claims sovereignty over the soul, when it destroys freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, then the state has ceased to be political and has begun to be a counter-Church.” Ends.
This is exactly what is happening, not just in America but here in the UK as well and in particular in socialist Scotland. So, why are there so few priests speaking out to warn, educate and edify the faithful?

Editor,
I am surrounded by Catholics who are Democrats. In Kentucky, there is a Catholic Democrat running against Mitch McConnell for the Senate – this candidate not only attended a Catholic girls’ school, but is also an ex-Marine!
I can only think of four possible explanations:
1. They know little or nothing about their Faith.
2. They trust the corrupt clergy who assure them that they may vote for pro-abortion candidates.
3. They know little or nothing about the Democrat Party platform and are just continuing a family tradition.
And the fourth is a well-known bumper sticker:
Liberalism is a mental disorder.
RCA Victor,
Why not give those Catholics the link to the video sermon at the top of this thread, and ask them for their opinion? If you act daft, as we say, and they think you really care for their opinion, you might get a pleasant surprise! After hearing that priest’s totally logical comments, I think they’d be hard pressed to disagree with him.
Lily,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I should have clarified: these are people who either live in the neighborhood and who have put up yard signs for the Biden Crime Family (i.e. I don’t know them personally), or people with whom I have minimal contact, not including phone or email contact.
RCA Victor,
I’ve just had that conversation with a friend – those who think they are Catholics these days, most of them are nothing like.
I know what you mean by “the family tradition” – there’s a lot of that in Scotland. It used to be if your great great great grandparents had voted Labour, so would you, LOL! I was in a Labour voting family so I’m not sure if that was also true of the Tories, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Tribes of a feather stick together!
Josephine your spot on there . 1 of my neighbors of whom I would have considered a good Catholic Voted S.N.P. at the last Election he said Labour was useless ( which is also correct Corbyn proved that ) and he said that he could never Vote Conservative. I asked him if he knew the Ways of the Horrible S.N.P. and of the Curriculum in the Schools plus of course the Abortion issue it just didn’t seem to resonate with him at all .
Now this is a Person who goes to Mass Daily ( which is certainly more than me ) he is also more intelligent than me as far as Schooling was concerned but it seems he’s all Brains and no Common Sense . Maybe the Person Victor describes is much the same . But in my personal experience most of these Mealy Mouthed people take the 30 Pieces of Silver instantly.
RCAVictor,
You do really have a (many) problems. I cannot imagine how impossible it must be to have to vote for someone worse than McConnell.
The only comparison I can come up with is a choice between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn.
We finished up with Boris Corbyn.
Go on – Keep America Great – you our last hope.
Patrick Healy,
“Boris Corbyn” – LOL! That’s so true!
Patrick,
Yes, McConnell is far from a model Republican, but over the past 3.5 years Trump seems to have inspired him to grow a spine. Before that, I believe he was a borderline “Never-Trumper,” or maybe a full-on NT.
What has helped, I think, is his realization that the Democrats are an evil cult, not a political party.
Victor that is most certainly what I read into also . The Democrats have now nothing to do with real Politics and are just a Satanic Cult. This was never more obvious ( at least to me ) when Judge Kavanugh was being sworn in . He had already been Voted in, yet the Evil Democrats staged a Horrific display of Hate both to him and to his family. Also as far as I could see and what I heard during him being sworn in the Leader off seemed to be The Evil Kamala Harris.
Faith of Our Fathers
Here’s more evidence of Democrat cult-like behavior, in response to the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett:
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/10/democrats_go_ballistic_after_amy_coney_barretts_confirmation.html
It’s reached the point where it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if some of these leftists went full Jim Jones, of Jonestown infamy, in Guyana,, 1978, I say that because one of the primary characteristics of cults is paranoia, and the Demon-crats are working themselves into a fever pitch of sedition over self-induced paranoia.
(There’s a little sideswipe at Mitch McConnell in there as well – I thought our poetical friend Patrick Healy might appreciate it…)
Patrick,
PS: I greatly enjoyed your latest poetical outing…
RCA Victor,
Don’t encourage him! Kidding, Patrick!
Trump or Biden makes no difference. The ‘votes’ are not even counted. The ‘votes’ are just Orwell numbers they fabricate on the TV/computer screen; similar to covid case/death statistics. These are Orwell democracies we are living in (Europe/America/Australia/New Zealand) where all the prominent parties are controlled by the Communist state. We are all simply spectators. The worst part is that now they do not even hide their true intentions yet we still believe that we have some semblance of control. Google 1619 project.
Ok so maybe if Biden wins it will be better than Trump simply because the Americans won’t have to face the civil unrest and riots which followed the Trump win in 2016.
President Trump is having the 1619 project investigated and if he re-elected it won’t be taught in schools.
If you think it would be better if Biden wins because there won’t be the riots that would follow a Trump win then I respectfully suggest you listen to the priest’s sermon again – I doubt if you can have actually listened to it at all or you wouldn’t think butchering babies up to and even after birth, is worth it, if it prevents some civil unrest.
Americans can vote for Trump in good conscience, or they can vote for evil under Biden/Harris. That’s very clear from the above sermon.
Fidelis,
“butchering babies up to and even after birth.”
This is happening already in America under Trump right now. He has the power to change this and has not done it. He will continue to allow this when he is elected again. Please do not be fooled by his words which mean nothing.
Jean,
Then you need to explain two things:
How come the pro-abortionists hate him so much? How come Planned Parenthood bemoans the loss of funding due to Trump?
How come he was invited to address the March for Life – or maybe you think all the prolife organisations (who keep their fingers on the pulse of the abortion industry) are too stupid to “know” that he is only “fooling” them? Just because abortion hasn’t yet been fully eradicated doesn’t mean he has not made a massive difference and will continue to do so.
As for his words meaning nothing – even those who dislike him admit that he has kept every single promise; the border wall has to be finished, but it’s almost finished.
You’ve opined that it doesn’t matter whether Biden or Trump wins. I’m not clear how any Catholic could come to that conclusion, but you are coming across as simply one more person who hates Trump because the media has programmed whole populations to hate Trump.
I refuse to be programmed.
Editor,
Sometimes strange things happen. Trump going to pro-life marches is the same as war mercenary Obama being awarded with a Nobel peace prize. Do you think he was a peaceful man? His war record would suggest that he was not. Naïve.
Jean,
Have you SEEN the ferocity with which those whom you think are Trump’s masters, pulling his puppet strings, have treated him since even before he was sworn in as President? For goodness sake, that’s a very strange way to treat a puppet.
Obama was GIVEN the Nobel Peace prize remember? And for doing nothing remotely peaceful. All wars in the middle-east have ceased and amazing strides forward thanks to Trump yet, although nominated a number of times, he has NOT been awarded the Nobel Peace prize – it was given to some “food” charity. Peace and War, remember? I’d have thought ending all wars in the middle east trumped (if you’ll forgive the pun) ANY charity.
No, Trump is not a puppet. He is essentially a good man who – as he told Biden during the last presidential debate – wouldn’t have stood for election at all, but for the way Obama and Biden had ruined the country.
Do you know that he doesn’t take his presidential salary, but donates it to charity? Do you know that he has lost money from his personal accounts, due to focusing on the work of President over his own businesses?
This is no puppet. The blindness of those who hate him just astounds me.
You say you watched the video at the top of the thread but passed no comment on it.
Was the priest speaking the truth or not? What, precisely, did he say that did not change your mind about voting for Biden – you did say that it would make no difference if he won so you obviously disagree with the priest; why? Why would Biden be no different from Trump?
Editor,
“You’ve opined that it doesn’t matter whether Biden or Trump wins. I’m not clear how any Catholic could come to that conclusion, but you are coming across as simply one more person who hates Trump because the media has programmed whole populations to hate Trump.”
In your highly subjective opinion, that is. Is there not the slightest possibility that the political process in the usa has been subverted and their elections are mere political theater? Was the deep state really going to take a chance in the 2016 election of letting someone with good intentions occupy the most powerful and unaccountable political office the world has ever seen? Someone who might do something – even unintentionally – that could wreck their plans? It seems you have completely bought into the fake left/right paradigm.
If Clinton was supposed to win why did Obama attack the syrian army at deir ezzor in Sept. 2016 and create a war-with-russia scare just as the election was coming into a conclusion? And why was Comey (apparently in violation of DOJ rules) trying to undermine Clinton’s electoral prospects with a fake investigation into her alleged email improprieties?
And why didn’t the democrats include among the impeachment charges against Trump his war crimes in syria and his apparent violations of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations? (Had they done this it apparently would’ve been much more difficult for the senate to acquit him on the abuse of power charge).
And why has there been no meaningful political opposition to any of Trump’s controversial actions, e.g. abandonment of JCPOA agreement with iran, trade war, exit of INF treaty, etc.?
How lucky for Trump that in the autumn of 2016 Obama decided to give the antiwar bloc of Sanders supporters a little taste of what a belligerent Clinton foreign policy would look like.
What I want to know is this: Is there no one on the “dissident right” that is even the slightest bit curious (by now at least) as to why at the age of 70, non-career politician Trump wanted to be president in the first place? And why does he surround himself with scumbags?
And why does he so desperately seek reelection despite being “unable” to deliver on his promises to end the wars and the interventionism?
I guess there’s a place for this insulting platitude in every pro-Trump opinion piece found on the internet. So how did Trump know that israel wouldn’t spoof a retaliatory attack on some usa asset in the mideast in response to Trump’s cruise missile attack on the shayrat airbase in syria? And how did Trump know that his assassination of iranian General Soleimani wouldn’t escalate into WW3?
Why didn’t Trump withdraw from afghanistan? And why didn’t Trump withdraw from the illegal deployment in syria as he said he would? And why did he seize syrian oilfields? And why are usa proxy forces burning syrian crops? And why did Trump veto a congressional resolution to end usa support for saudi arabia’s war against yemen?
The fact is that upon being inaugurated, Trump immediately increased troop levels everywhere; and in 2017 he apparently ordered the DOD to stop directly reporting how many troops were deployed overseas.
https://www.npr.org/sections/parallels/2017/12/01/566798632/under-trump-u-s-troops-in-war-zones-are-on-the-rise
You have a right to your own opinion Editor no matter how absurd, but he has no right to be taken seriously, and he’s not – at least not by me.
Jean
Let’s not get all conspiratorial about this – for Catholics the choice is an easy one, the lesser of evils.
We have no idea of knowing who is up to what in the secret chambers of power, all we know is what we see and hear. Trump takes no Presidential salary, appoints conservative judges, speaks out against Socialism, is patriotic, defends the unborn child, helps the nuns, employs Traditional Catholics in high office, etc. What more do you want the man to do before he gets your approval?
As I say, to hell with all this conspiracy garbage, U.S. Catholics have no choice but to fulfil their voting duty by voting Trump, the more moral choice. It’s a no brainer really.
Jean,
I see that Athanasius has beaten me to the draw, and he has really said it all, but I’m going to make a couple of additional points in direct response to you.
You wrote: “Was the deep state really going to take a chance in the 2016 election of letting someone with good intentions occupy the most powerful and unaccountable political office the world has ever seen? Someone who might do something – even unintentionally – that could wreck their plans?”
What plans? I have no idea what you mean – what are the “deep state plans” that, by inference, you say Trump supports. That’s the logical conclusion of your claim that they wouldn’t have allowed anyone to win the election and thus spoil their plans. Well, Trump won, which means that, by your logic, he is the preferred candidate of the “deep state”. As I said previously, they’ve a very funny way of showing their appreciation!
The only other point I’d address (since the bulk of what you say ignores the fact that no-one, least of all Obama & Clinton, expected Trump to win) is that of troops. There are hardly any US troops stationed abroad – fewer than in the past 50 or 60 or so years.
As Athanasius says, what on earth more does Trump have to do to win your approval?
I would only ask one more question – who would you like to see as President of the USA, if not Trump? Who is your ideal candidate?
Jean,
All I can say is that Trump has all the right enemies – that is, all the real puppets of the globalists.
I am curious, though, as to what your solution is to your rather jaundiced – dare I say cynical – worldview? Specifically, to your charge that the world is everywhere controlled by “crypto-Jews”? Are you a Catholic? Protestant? Something else?
RCA Victor,
May I just alert you to the danger of asking any questions of Jean about “the Jews” – I am very aware of the danger of anti-Semitism rearing its ugly head on this blog, not least because I spent some time only yesterday listening to a Jew – a very kind man, who speaks well of Christianity – sadly referring to the anti-Semitism he’s experienced from so-called Christians. Personally, I detest the very term “The Jews”. I’ve not met a lot of Jews in my lifetime but the several I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, both socially and through work, have been lovely people. In any case, we’re not going to insult an entire race and religion on this blog – that’s a given, as you know.
So, please Jean, beware of repeating any of the conspiracy theories blaming “The Jews” for all the woes of the world. Reflect on the words of St John:
If any man say ‘I love God’, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For, if he does not love his brother whom he can see, how can he love God whom he cannot see?” (1 John 4:20)
If you think particular people are responsible for the woes of the world, name them but we don’t need to know their race or religious affiliation.
And, by the way, one email correspondent asked me today if I am sure that “Jean” is a woman, suggesting that “she” might be a French man! So, if you are minded to share your nationality with us, assuming that you are NOT from these parts, that would be interesting. If not, sorry I asked 😀
In any case, St John’s exhortation applies not just to “man” but, as we all know or certainly used to know before the madness of the “feminist” movement came along, “man” is a generic term for both man and woman.
This is not me sooking up to you ED but what a great reply to Jean .Am just back after being out paying Bills Etc . In front of me was a Woman who started saying to the Shop Assistant about how bad President Trump was and about how much money hes making being President .I said to her that President Trump takes no Salary and has lost a fortune being President .She then used the Media Trump Card ” Surely you must be the only 1 that I have ever heard saying anything good about him ” I told her to stop watching the useless BBC and learn something about the Man . ” I know enough ” she said .I said to her did She know that he was the only Pro Life Political Leader in the Western World. Silence She walked away .Not only was she rude and ignorant but also Selfish ( which is another story ) She was to me the typical S.N.P supporter .One who thinks that the Sun Shines out of wee Nics you know what .In other words a Baffoon. I very nearly printed Baboon there ,but that would be me doing someone a disservice .
Jean
You think Donald Trump is an absolute monarch in America who can just command something and it gets done? That’s a bit silly, if you’ll pardon my stating the obvious. Trump is doing everything within the limit of his Presedential powers to destroy the abortion industry, his latest assault on it being the appointment of Judge Amy Coney Barret to the Supreme Court. He has already greatly restricted federal funding to abortion factories and businesses, he has delivered Catholic religious orders from intolerable State oppression in the matter of abortion and he is the first President in U.S. history to speak publicly at a pro-life rally. What more do you want from the man?
I agree with you up to a point. Soros. Gates . Sachs . Will do all in their Power to stop President Trump and Biden is just a Puppet anyhow, one would have to be Blind not to realise that . But 4 years ago the Election was Fair or as Fair as could be . The Evil ones let it run as they believed that President Trump had no chance and that the Hilder Beast was a certainty. President Trump is his Own Man who is Fighting ( as far as I can see ) The Four Horses of The Apocalypse. He is trying his best to Drain The Swamp and has succeeded clearing out some Rot . To me and ad like to hear it from an American Perspective. Brennan was the worst of the lot . I say that because this Evil Man sold his Irish Catholic Birthright ( and His Soul )to the Moslems and that to me is unforgivable. President Trump knew what a Quisling Brennan was in Particular. Of course the ones who followed Brennan eat each other alive before their treacherous behaviour went really further than it should have . As for you saying ” Well Vote For Biden and that Horrible Kamala Harris to keep the Peace ” is really the Pits . Also this Brave Priest speaks the Truth and not the Lies of Satan.
Jean,
“The votes are not even counted”? Don’t be ridiculous. I’ve got a friend who used to work at election times, counting the votes. Of course they’re counted.
If you’ve ever seen a baby torn apart by abortion, I think you would think it was worth a bit of civil unrest to save those millions of lives.
To be blunt, if you think it makes no difference who wins the November election in America, I’d guess you are a Biden supporter. If I’m wrong, I apologise but your indifference makes me wonder. I cannot be indifferent to the spilling of the blood of innocent unborn babies or the newly born, who are also now being disposed of. It’s horrific even to think that Biden might be elected.
Josephine,
“I’ve got a friend who used to work at election times, counting the votes. Of course they’re counted.”
This is not the case today with remote monitoring and controls. All that is needed is two persons. A paid-off supervisor to claim ‘problems’ with the machine and a technical representative to fake the ‘repairs’ and insert pre-filled chips. Physical ballot ‘stuffing’ is not required anymore.
This is exactly what happened in Maryland on 2002 and this is long before today’s smart phones and technology capabilities.
A Diebold whistleblower named Chris Hood explained exactly how this rigging can happen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEp0kUzmLns
If you have not the time to watch this then this are the main points that he talks about.
1-Malicious co-workers can insert unauthorized software into voting
machines.
2-Thousands of votes were lost when tabulation cards were ‘erased’ and never recovered.
3-Problems with machines are kept away from press.
4-People with no experience are temporarily hired as technicians for election day.
5-Diebold workers took the jobs that state workers should have done.
Diebold sold its usa election business to ES&S in 2009. This is the company which provide the majority of the voting machines in America and also across Europe and other places too.
If the votes are not counted, i.e. fabricated, then please explain why the fabricators allowed Trump to win in 2016.
Also, there is no “civil unrest.” The riots, etc. are the highly organized work of mercenaries trained and paid for by Soros and his tentacles. Calling that civil unrest would be akin to calling the Bolsheviks’ takeover of Russia, paid for by Jacob Schiff and the King of Sweden, and trained by Leon Trotsky, ‘”civil unrest.”
Civil unrest and subversive destabilization via paramilitary thugs are two entirely different things.
RCA Victor,
The truth of the matter is that Trump is a masquerade and so is Biden. But what kind of a masquerade are they? They are like “Capote De Brega” the piece of cloth used in the spanish bull fights. What we have here is a game.
The game is by the deep state. The deep state is the matador. The capote de brega is the politicians. The masses is the bull. Trump may be a red “capote de brega” and Biden may be a green one. Whatever the case may be the main aim is to subdue the bull. But in order to keep the game interesting occasionally the deep state matadors provoke the bull deliberately in order to distract it for a purpose. If you have ever watched a family of lions hunting you would understand the game plan.
So with this in mind what does a Trump “win” mean to the Americans? It depends largely on the game plan of the matadors. It has nothing to do with the bull. If the bull has grown restless or becomes wild or difficult to tame a Trump win may pacify the bull. But if the matadors are very confident a Biden win will be their sign that they are the king and if you do not like it go jump in the Niagara! Trump masquerade as a “white supremacist” apologetic just as Obama masquerade as a “ man on the street” apologists and evidence of “american diversity.”
Now the problem with Biden is that he is a not very saleable. He appeals to no one. He has both personal political baggage which Trump used during their debate I believe to a devastating effect. He is a coward. No balls, like Trump. He is not a change agent but a continuation of Obama legacy but without Obama. With him is Kamala Harris, another person not very saleable.
So I think Trump will win not because he is better but because he will buy the deep state a very important tool. The illusion of continued “white supremacism rule.” The whites will be pacified and the deep state can continue to direct Trump wherever they want. This is just as McCain was recruited to guarantee an Obama win.
Jean,
Did you watch the video at the top of this thread?
Editor,
Yes I did watch this video. Did you watch this video?
Jean,
Of course I watched it. I posted it, remember!
You show absolutely NO sign of having the remotest understanding of what is at stake in the forthcoming USA election, as set out in that wonderfully crystal clear sermon.
Nor, frankly, do you show much sign of understanding the essential moral issues which should be at the heart of every Catholic vote in November.
Your talk of matadors and bulls in this context is lost on me – it brought to my mind the words of St Ireneus who wrote: “Truth is always simple, it is error which is immense”.
Exactly. There is no need for complex theories about Trump. He is hated by all those who hate God – what the heck else do you need to know?! I’m not American but he’s got my vote anyway!
Editor,
Allow me the simplify it for you: Trump is a puppet. I cannot reduce it further for you than this.
Jean.
Wrong. I can’t reduce it further for YOU than this.
Excuse me for Butting in Jean and your entitled to your opinion ,after all we live in a Free Country and in a Free Society and if you believe that then You may just have been that Woman in front of me today in The Post Office .Lets cut to the chase here and even leaving out any Religion on both sides ( well actually its really only one side if your a Democrat ) we,r talking here about a Pure Evil Democrat Party that is now completely Marxist .Now I know not if you are a Catholic but one thing is for sure from your Posts that Marxism runs through every one .Now I have made this Statement about Pope Francis and I say the same to you .One cannot be a Catholic and a Marxist at the same time. I await your response with baited breath.
Jean
That’s what the evil Democrats have been saying for 4 years. Are you a Democrat?
RCA Victor,
Exactly right – if the voting was rigged in 2016, Trump would never have won. Which is why the Dems are so keen to rig the vote in November.
Right, too, exactly, about the “civil unrest” being paid-thuggery. Nothing less.
That’s a fantastic sermon. What a great priest. I agree, if other priests across the USA preached like that, no Catholic in American would be under any doubt that they could not vote for the murderous Biden-Harris pact. Talk about Bonnie & Clyde!
Friends,
Another good strong reponse of a sermon from yesterday, Sun 25 Oct, well worth listening to.
OLG,
That’s a very powerful sermon from a young priest, and it is tragic to think, as he points out, that the last time Mass was prohibited in Ireland was during British rule – now it’s the Irish Government doing the banning.
So, since Friday last (23 October) priests in Ireland may be jailed for celebrating Mass in public – incredible. And this despite the fact that, as Fr Mulligan points out, the church is the safest place you could be outside of your own home; there have been no Covid cases among churchgoers. Yet, the Government closed them down anyway, while leaving hairdressers, beauty salons, off-licences and abortion clinics open. Truly evil.
My only point of disagreement with Father is where he describes the movement into totalitarian rule as being “gradual” and happening “slowly”. I think it’s been incredibly fast – can any of us remember what life was like before lockdown? When we could decide for ourselves when we would go out, with whom we would meet etc?
Today I was away from my own local turf, and found myself near a small retail park. I decided to pop into a shop for a couple of items and was stunned to see a long queue – what?!*” I thought that was over and done with! Then I remembered what I often say on this blog – it’s not going to be over. This is the “new normal” – totalitarian rule with the very worst excesses yet to come. They will come, of course. We just can’t be sure exactly when. In the meantime, we obey ever changing Government rules and regulations – ever changing to keep us under control, to monitor whether or not we are going to continue our subservience.
A very good sermon, great to hear a young priest speak so clearly about the unlawful intrusion of the State into Church life – sad only to see the table [altar] reminder of the new Mass; however, seeing the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, the Rosary tapestry and the statue of St Joseph along with the large crucifix gives some hope that maybe Father Mulligan will soon appreciate the importance of the ancient Mass in the fight against the totalitarianism of which he rightly warns.
I could have wept when I heard that Sermon .As a descendant probably like many on here from Ireland its like a dagger in the back .They sold the Jerseys and took the 30 Pieces of Silver ( or should I say the 30 Pieces of Euros ) long ago .In fact my only visit to Ireland was in 1982 not a very good year and just after the Hunger Striker Deaths . I asked a few people in The South what they thought of their fellow Irishmen dying for a just cause in The North I never spoke to ONE who cared and I spoke to many. I was only over there Four Days it was to visit the Grave of a friend of mine who was a Volunteer and who was buried in Sligo .I dread to think of the Godless Desert that these faithful Priests have now to live in as it was bad enough back then .What Cromwell couldn’t do their own kind have done .In Carfin there is an original Mass Rock that was given to the Irish Monument in the Grotto to the Famine, maybe we should send it back .On a final note one of Bobby Sands last statements was .” Our revenge will be the Laughter of our Children “. This statement was in the Sinn Feign office window on the Day that Ireland Voted for Abortion for any reason. One Plastic Paddy who is a well known Marxist and supporter of Abortion actually put that statement on an Internet Blog I put under it .Yes our revenge would be The Laughter Of Our Children But Only If You Let Them Be Born First. The Plastic Paddy that he is never ever answered me back .
That indeed is a powerful sermon and it makes one weep. As the priest says Ireland was the land of saints and scholars. A country that once exported priests and nuns to other countries who taught the Catholic faith wherever they went.
It is the serious failure of Popes and Bishops to Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary that has brought us to this pass.
This is Fr Altman speaking about the election
