The Pfizer Covid vaccine is already being administered to the public in the UK and the first doses have been given in the US ahead of a mass vaccination campaign on a global scale.
It is important to recognize that the Pfizer Covid vaccine has not been approved by the FDA. It has only received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) meaning the vaccine has not gone through the standard process to get official approval from the regulatory agency.
Now Moderna’s experimental Covid vaccine is set to get the same Emergency Use Authorization allowing the shot to be distributed to millions of people.
We have already witnessed short term adverse events (side effects) from the Pfizer vaccine. Truth is, nobody knows what the long term effects could be and it appears the public is being subjected to an experiment on a global scale.
In this report, we examine discrepancies in the FDA Moderna report that was voted on by an advisory panel. The panel voted 20-0 recommending EUA.
Some of the discrepancies include cherry picked trial participants to achieve the desired results to gain EUA. As well as 13 total deaths in the trials, 6 in the vaccinated group and 7 in the placebo. Something the media refuses to address.

Speaking of great questions, yours is another one. However, I don’t have an answer. But funny you should mention this again, because I was thinking of writing President Trump about this vaccine scandal, along with the ongoing Flip-Flopping Fauci scandal.
Unfortunately, the scandal is complex (as the troll who questions Athanasius’ post on the SSPX vaccine position would say) (and I have a definite opinion as to who that troll is), so I think I will just keep it simple and ask him to put doctors in charge who are unafraid to expose Big Pharma and unafraid to tell the truth.

I’m glad you have an in-person appointment with your doctor – I am hearing more and more stories about people who are in pain, whether through toothache or medical problems, with no appointments available. It’s disgraceful what they are doing to us while pretending to be caring about our health.
The only good news is that (I’m told) more and more people are waking up to what it actually going on, and I heard one SNP supporter today on a radio broadcast saying he’ll never vote SNP again – he is totally aware of what this is all about – and it is NOT all about a virus. He said he’s watched in astonishment as Nicola Sturgeon has become more and more dictatorial. “Join the club”, I said, but I don’t think he heard me.

It’s very puzzling (to a person with no medical or scientific background, like me) why, in both the Pfizer and Moderna trials, the placebo group experienced higher deaths than than vaccine group. I thought a placebo was a harmless concoction of a saline solution, or something like that.

This turnaround is what puzzles me hugely.
When people presented with heart disease and were hospitalised, their death was attributed to Covid.
Now when people present for the vaccine and subsequently die, their death is presumed to be caused by some other underlying cause.
And there are still those who wonder why some of us are highly suspicious of the whole virus business!

I think it’s more about big pharma making money and running vaccines off the assembly line before they are properly tested. Recall the Swine Flu vaccine rolled out across the U.S., for example, it killed more people than the virus and subesequently had to be destroyed. It’s just big business for these people and the governments protect them with laws that they can’t be sued.

In any case, the very fact that these public figures feel they need to be vaccinated on live TV does not instil confidence in me, one bit. The very opposite. If there is no problem with it, why is it being treated like some kind of celebrity vaccine instead of like every other vaccine – you know the ones which have caused serious side effects and even death in many recipients.

I didn’t become a Catholic until I was 24, and I had all the usual childhood vaccinations before that, during the 1960’s and 1970’s. In those days there were no ‘vaxxers’ and ‘anti-vaxxers’ – you were just made to stand in a queue at school and rolled up your sleeve when it was your turn! I remember having one I think was called a ‘BCG’ – several jabs in one go. Not that I can do anything about it now, but it’s made me wonder whether any of these vaccines I had were made from aborted foetal cell lines?

It is highly unlikely that any vaccines you were given in the 60s and 70s were made from aborted foetal cell lines since they only started to experiment with them around that time – far too early for general public application. But even if vaccines you received were based on this horrible science you are completely free of any guilt in the crime by reason of invincible ignorance.
I also remember a decade earlier at School going to the Dreaded School Dentist whom am sure were without a doubt the most Sadistic People in the Land .In fact after a trip to one these Travelling Torture Chambers they just had to pull a teeth or 2 or 3 .In fact am sure they were on Piece Work. IE the more teeth pulled the higher their wages I got a bad infection after being treated once and landed in Glasgow Royal Infirmary .I was kept in for 4 Days observation and the Nurses were lovely . Although I was only 7 at the time my Everlasting memory of those 4 Days was 1 Beautiful Nurse who said that Shed like to take me Home and gave me an enormous kiss and cuddle when I left .I actually cried when I was taken in, but I cried more when I left . The other memory is ( remember this was 1957 ) that it was the first time I realised that for the First Time that real Toilet Paper Existed rather than the Old Evening Citizen .

I laughed heartily at your reminiscences because they sound familiar, though I was a 60s baby. My experiences with dentists was generally good, I have to say, except for one occasion when I was given gas to put me out while they extracted a tooth. I still remember the smell of that rubber mask on my face, the window begining to waver up and down as I dropped off and the horrible feeling when they woke me up. Not pleasant.
As for the Royal Infirmary, I did Glasgow’s on a regular basis for head wounds. I was always splitting my head open – four sets of stitches around the top area and one set of stitches across the eyebrow. The great thing about it was the sympathy I used to get on the bus on the way home. People would say “oh, poor wee soul” while lavishing me with sweets and money. It was worth the pain! Sadly I don’t remember any particularly beautiful nurses, but they were all so kind. I was fortunate to escape the nurse Deisel’s!
The outside toilets and alternative forms of toilet roll were a common feature of life back then. The young don’t know they’re living today. Still, I wouldn’t swap my childhood for anything, it was happy and carefree.
I am just stunned to learn that the Pope has approved the use of vaccines using aborted foetus tissue. That is just disgraceful. I’ve read the facts about the Church’s moral teaching, especially by Athanasius, on the blog and thank God for that. Otherwise, if we were depending on those who are supposed to teach us and keep us right about these things, we’d be out in the cold.

The CDF statement says: “In this sense, when ethically irreproachable Covid-19 vaccines are not available … it is morally acceptable to receive Covid-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process.”
It then provides some support for people who do not find the vaccine acceptable: “At the same time, practical reason makes evident that vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral obligation and that, therefore, it must be voluntary.”
But then it says “Those who, however, for reasons of conscience, refuse vaccines produced with cell lines from aborted fetuses, must do their utmost to avoid, by other prophylactic means and appropriate behavior, becoming vehicles for the transmission of the infectious agent.”
The priority is clear: material self-preservation. But then, what else should we expect the priorities of a group of middle-aged and elderly men, living in comparative luxury, to be?
Sadly, there are a lot of people in agreement with this on 1P5 (and other sites), and some are extremely insulting (to put it mildly) to anyone who disagrees with them. Potential side effects from these various vaccines is really a side story for Catholics considering that all are forbidden under the moral law from receiving them. I am not aware of a single vaccine produced that has not used the cell lines of aborted babies somewhere along the way, be it in production or testing, hence it is outlawed despite what the SSPX has sadly advised on its U.S. website.

That said, I think it is extremely important that Catholics such as yourself (I’ve read your article) post more widely on the ‘Traditional’ Catholic websites and their comboxes, in order to counter the (in my opinion) mind-bending exercises which both clergy and laity are performing in order to fall in line with the idea that yes actually, we can make use of these vaccines; there’s suddenly a moral imperative to protect everyone, including not being a possible ‘carrier’ for the virus if one refuses the vaccine on moral grounds, so presumably it’ll suddenly become a sin for such a person to make contact with anyone else?
Strangely, many of the people pushing this line are those who elsewhere usually appear staunch Catholics. Many appear completely unable suddenly to have even a reasoned discussion about the matter – is fear of death an issue here? Heaven knows. I’ve used many of your points myself in places, but could do with barrage balloons for protection. Is this what we’ve come to?
I would like to link to your article in many places but would like your permission first, because I can imagine the response there’s likely to be and the Editor may not appreciate that – neither might you yourself. I don’t have the theological/bioethical background needed to fight this – as I’m being told again and again: “Please leave the moral theology to others with a better handle on it.” is one response.
An emotional response is understandable apparently but VII teaching suddenly trumps everything even for people who yesterday thought VII was a massive mistake. Seriously, one couldn’t make this up! So I would urge those of you who do have that necessary background to engage in other comboxes more frequently in order to fight this and on other issues in general, also.
Actually, having written the above, I would say that yes, fear of death is definitely a serious issue here. We have become accustomed, Western society in particular, to having a vaccine or treatment for so many illnesses and diseases which in other ages would have carried off or seriously compromised large sections of the population, that we can’t really cope with the idea that we ourselves would might suddenly be at similar risk if we stopped using these vaccines and drugs. The idea makes us feel helpless.
I’m sure it is coming as news to most people (myself included) that many other vaccines etc. are similarly compromised, so we may well already unwittingly have used such vaccines. This does throw up many new questions and problems and is extremely uncomfortable morally, because if we can’t morally accept the Covid Vaccine, can we get all the kids vaccinated against all those diseases likely to carry them off, if there’s no ethically acceptable vaccine available? So it’s understandable that a lot of people are in panic mode over this and frantically searching for a way out of what amounts to an ever-tightening noose.

I largely agree with Editor’s observations about other Catholic websites and blogs, be they Traditional, Modernist or somewhere in between. I very rarely comment on any such blogs these days, having either found myself being moderated or excluded altogether for writing inconvenient truths.
The Catholic Truth blog is the only one that allows a truly educational exchange of views about the faith and the crisis without moderating or banning. What happens here is that if someone posts a comment about the faith that is erroneous then others will answer in the spirit of correction. Only trolls who make their bad intentions perfectly clear, or people who are deliberately and consistently uncharitable, get moderated or worse, but not before the courtesy of a warning.
What you have experienced on various sites, most notably LifeSiteNews, is common for all of us; it indicates that most of these outlets are being run and moderated by people who have a particular viewpoint that they are not prepared to see questioned, or at least not prepared to allow to upset their less-Traditional readership.
I found this to be the case many years ago with Fr. Z, during his anti-SSPX days. I was banned from his site for posting perfectly sound comments that he clearly found troublesome to his conscience.
The same can be said of Rorati Caeli. To this day I have no idea why all communications from me go unanswered, even the email I sent to one of the moderators offering condolences and prayers when a parent died was not answered. Despite some personal attempts by me to discover via email communications why I am so disdained, I have never received the courtesy of a response.
Michael Matt at the Remnant is not nearly so rude, yet there have been occasions when submitted articles for publication have not been published or responded to. In fact the CT article I linked for you in my previous comment, the one that raises questions about the SSPX advising in favour of vaccines produced or tested using the stem cell lines of aborted babies, is the latest example of how even the Remnant selects what to publish or respond to depending on who the truth might upset. The Remnant, as you know, has a lot of SSPX readers, including myself.
Now I have to acknowledge here that Michael Matt has generally given me a platform for my articles over many years, but it is nevertheless disappointing and discouraging to realise that if any take issue with those considered to be leading lights in Tradition then they simply get binned. This is not what I call a balanced and objective defence of the Catholic Faith. There’s an unwholesome bias there when it comes to publishing truth.
Bottom line is I’m much less inclined these days to comment on sites other than Catholic Truth for the reasons given. I wouldn’t mind so much if the editors and moderators of these others would at least communicate with me, as charity demands, but even that basic courtesy is now absent as charity, like faith, diminishes.
If I do comment on blogs, it’s more likely to be secular blogs like Newsmax, etc., where there’s more hope of sowing some Catholic seeds, carefully worded, among the general populace. I find this more satisfying and less likely to suffer moderation on the grounds of who it might upset.
That may sound a little strange given the censorship on public secular blogs, but believe me when I say it’s not as much hard work as trying to post a Traditional Catholic view on some Traditional Catholic blogs that may result in people having to confront a particular evil within their own ranks.
As regards vaccines, I think too many people are too concerned about their bodily health these days than the health of their soul, which is all that truly matters.
I have never received a vaccine in my life, voluntarily or otherwise, but I would say right off the bat that those who were given vaccines without knowing how they were produced or tested have nothing morally to worry about. We only sin when we have knowledge of the sin and wilfully participate in it, for whatever reason.
This brings me to the Covid-19 vaccines, which are absolutely forbidden to all Catholics who have knowledge of the stem cell use of aborted babies. The argument of remoteness in time and urgent need is bogus, it’s called sophistry.
The bottom line is that if Catholics use these vaccines then they effectively confirm and encourage the medical and pharmaceutical industries in a sin that cries to heaven for vengeance, the murder of unborn children to profit others. Only when all Catholics say no to these vaccines will those who live for profit make the decision to find alternatives that do not include cell lines for aborted babies. Objecting to their evil while benefiting from it is utter hypocrisy that will only succeed in perpetuating this crime against humanity. Besides this, the Covid-19 virus is not nearly dangerous enough to human beings to warrant mass vaccination.
Let me just say at this point that I lost my young sister at age 28. She was perfectly healthy all her life but developed acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and was dead in a month. Medical science and big pharma couldn’t prevent her death, in fact they hastened it by pumping her body full of toxic chemicals they call Chemotherapy. These people have no clue and cannot be trusted. There is no doubt in my mind that more will be harmed or killed by their poisonous vaccines than will be helped by them.
No thanks, I will live and die refusing the concoctions of these experimenters. Look what they did with Thalidomide and with the Swine Flu vaccine. The latter killed and disabled so many it had to be withdrawn and destroyed. These are the people who are behind contraceptive methods that cause cancers and thrombosis, not like the old days when medical ethics forbade experimental science on human beings. Different days so we trust in God and take only what is proven by decades of testing and use, such as Hydroxychloroquine, a great anti-viral that they suppressed because it is cheap to buy.
The upshot of it all is that we trust in God and put the health of our soul before that of the body, like the martyrs did. Use only what is tried and tested in a moral and ethical way and reject everything else for the good of both bodily and spiritual health.
I’m not sure how to answer you, Athanasius, to be honest. With respect, I think your reply reveals exactly why I posted here, to suggest that more people with the relevant background knowledge persevere on other sites. I think we all have faced tirades, been banned or found secular sites easier to handle (yes, atheist trolls are often much more polite and easier to discuss things with), but you are preaching here to people who firstly are already converted, so to speak, and secondly, whom you know are going to agree with you in the main. The martyrs you mention would have been out amongst the heathens in the midst of the fight, regardless of how many knock-backs they received. Wouldn’t you agree?

Have had comments deleted numerous times simply because I’ve disagreed with some moderator – and I find them all unspeakably sarcastic and frankly unpleasant often, which helps no-one, least of all those genuinely looking for help and guidance in this mess. As far as the vaccine issue is generally concerned, I personally think it’s a mistake to lump the abortion-related vaccine argument in with general vaccine issues, because the latter are much more a medical issue. It isn’t sinful to use vaccines and drugs which are not, to our knowledge, unethical. Mixing in our personal opinions on whether vaccines in general are a good or bad thing, and on whether people should undergo chemotherapy etc just distracts from the abortion issue here, which is certainly a grave sin.
Relating my own personal experiences (believe me, bad) of the NHS which has completely failed plenty of people I know, most of whom are now dead, would have no real bearing on whether Alder Hey/the NHS has the moral right to refuse Alfie Evans and others continuing treatment etc.. or to kill them directly. The latter is concerned with morals and ethics (which should be governed by God’s Law); the other is concerned with the medical world practicing bad medicine and giving very bad medical care, which should be dealt with as medical malpractice by secular law. And yes, I know there are plenty of areas where the two might overlap.
So I would ask you, and other, to reconsider your decision to stay away from other sites. After all, if Christ had avoided all places where He might face opposition, and stuck to those where people were already well-disposed to Him, He wouldn’t have got very far, would He? Would He ever have left Our Lady’s side?

I can’t give the kind of detail response to your latest comment that I would like to do, but I will simply correct one or two of your misconceptions, in this brief reply…
Firstly, you are very wrong to assume that Athanasius or anyone else here is preaching to the already converted – that is very wide of the mark.
You forget that as well as bloggers we have readers. Many of them, every day and from every part of the world. People in every profession and none read this blog, as well as quite a few students, so please do not underestimate the extent to which we are able, with the help of God’s grace, to help inform people about the state of the Church at this time of crisis. More than one reader has attributed their reading of this blog, to their decision to turn to the Traditional Latin Mass, for example. I remember being pleasantly surprised to discover this first hand some years ago in our church tearoom where I had approached a small group (turned out to be a family) standing alone, in order to welcome them. Asking if they were new to the TLM and this church, they replied in the affirmative. When I than asked how they had come to choose the TLM, the reply sent my spirits soaring: “We’ve been reading the Catholic Truth website/blog”.
We are dealing with souls, not mere arguments, so that is the sort of information which delights me.
Indeed, one priest rang me, again some years ago, to say that he followed our blog as well as the Telegraph Holy Smoke blog where there were always hundreds of comments. “Hundreds” he repeated, but none of the quality you find on the Catholic Truth blog.
Anyway, I don’t really feel I need to justify our existence – and anyone who blogs here (including, of course, Athanasius) knows they are free at any time to contribute elsewhere. I know Athanasius does, as I have done myself, but I cannot commit to blogging elsewhere on a regular basis.
To be frank, those, like your good self, who are engaged elsewhere should be regularly posting links to our threads – regularly; meaning all the time. That would be more productive than trying to get us to work overtime or even to poach some of our bloggers!
As to the vaccines part of your comment – a general thread on the topic is well overdue, actually because of the over-trusting nature of the UK population which this Covid-19 business has highlighted.
To spell out what I mean, it is unintelligent not to want to know what is being pumped into our body whether or not it contains aborted baby material. As an adult, I have always said “no” to vaccines; once the nurse said she didn’t know what the ingredients were – in answer to my enquiry – and that she just “trusted the experts”, I replied, to her apparent shock, that I did not. End of. That was well before Covid-19 came on the scene.
Just imagine the stuff I’m omitting from this “brief reply” 😀

You may have recently heard that the MMR vaccine is produced or tested using the stem cell lines of aborted babies, so it is of the utmost importance that all medications be checked for ethical production before use.
Besides that, the list of possible side effects with almost all medications, some of them potentially life threatening, makes pharmaceutical medications a last resort in most cases. In the case of those using stem cell lines it’s a permanent no regardless of circumstances.

Some years ago, I actually closed this blog down with the aim of encouraging others (and myself) to devote our time to commenting on the better known blogs. This proved to be a mistake because we were blocked and banned all over the place. Any sign of orthodoxy (I slightly exaggerate!) never mind mentioning the Traditional Latin Mass or criticisms of the liturgical abuses evident in the new Mass, saw to it that our comments were not published. Hence, we re-opened this one.
I have no problem at all with you publishing links to this blog – that would be great. And I have no doubt whatsoever that Athanasius will say the same. So feel free to do that. Where we find trolls appearing – that is, those with a hostile agenda, they will be seen off, but that does not mean that we do not welcome genuine questioning, those who seek answers. There’s a difference between the latter group and troublemaking trolls. In time, they make clear to which camp they belong.
As for engaging in other sites as well as this one – I simply do not have the time, apart from the occasional contribution. It takes me all my time to keep up with this one.
I know that Athanasius – despite being an extremely busy person both at home and at work – does try to engage when he can elsewhere. He will reassure you on that point, I have no doubt, when he next appears here.
As for your point about vaccines generally – I know parents who have concerns and refuse to have their children vaccinated, having studied the matter very carefully.
There’s a reason, remember, why the term “anti-vaxxers” was coined – same reason as the term “conspiracy theory/theorist” was coined. To make those of us who question and go against the tide, look like extremists.
One of those parents asked me some time ago to launch a thread on vaccination, in general terms, and I’ve yet to do so. This request came way before this Covid-19 exercise with accompanying vaccine, so I must put that onto my “to do” list asap.

I say ‘in general’ because policing of comboxes is pretty bad and there is a lot of trolling which is openly allowed on at least one site by the owner, on the grounds of encouraging deep discussion. A lot of strange postings even on the Remnant sometimes which are left online. Attempts to counter them can lead to unpleasantness (I’m being polite here).
So whilst one is not likely to be banned, one can be subjected to tirades from all sides, including from the Orthodox and the not-so Orthodox. I have, however, been banned from Lifesite for paraphrasing the bible in response to the American Bishops recent statement. I have emailed and asked why (3 times) but no response. The last time I was banned for quoting the Bible in respect to s*****y and Elton John was by the Daily Mail. Straight quote, no ad hominem comments. So can’t really win anywhere!
So I would still say that more people, especially those with the necessary background need to participate, especially now. I know time is a problem for many; I have plenty of time but can’t argue from the theological stance etc.. Most of all, one just needs to be prepared to grit one’s teeth and fight back. A couple of posts a week from a few people would make a substantial contribution in total.

I don’t always hear the announcements and sermon. I tend to be taken up in mystical contemplation a lot of the time. That and the poor sound systems – my own and the one installed in the church – means that I don’t always hear everything. Or, to put it a tad more accurately, I hardly ever hear anything! I play catch-up with my family later and I recall a mention of the vaccine NOT being acceptable to Catholics. Deo gratias.

I am saddened to hear of the death of Fr. John Fields and I will remember him in my prayers. It’s difficult to say for sure if the vaccine trial had anythng to do with his heart attack – he didn’t actually look like a man in good health to begin with.
What troubles me more than the cause of his death is that he participated, like so many other Catholic priests and prelates who should know better, in the trial of a vaccine that was tested using one of the stem cell lines from a murdered baby. While I’m sure he meant well, his good intentions on that occasion were greatly misplaced. It is my sincere hope that he was ignorant of the morally forbidding nature of this product, as some are. Anyway, we need to just pray for his soul and leave the rest to God in hope.

Here is the really terrifying thing though – a friend said the other day that when he tells people that the recovery rate of those who become infected with Covid-19 is almost 100% (99,97% to be precise) the people he tells don’t care. That is so shocking. But I’m not surprised. No names, no pack drill, but there is a blog in Ireland where priests conduct conversations which are straight from Hell. They live in a swamp of filth and evil, apparently seeing it all as perfectly normal. It is disgusting in the extreme.

As for the headline to this topic – yes, we are definitely being used as guinea pigs.
I’m not going to take this vaccine under any conditions. There are people having bad side effects from it, it was far too rushed. No way am I taking it. I think it’s actually criminal (and I mean that) to give out this vaccine when it cannot possibly have been properly tested – that takes years and years.
This Polish military doctor, formerly under Communism, knows his stuff. The linked video is a bit difficult to concentrate on due to the speaker’s strong Polish accent but well worth the effort. He’s a convert to Traditional Catholicism from Communism and he knows his stuff. This public talk before a Traditional Catholic audience has resulted in his being suspended by the Wyoming State body for which he works – he will doubtless lose his job as a result. Surely that alone merits listening to what he says.

Unfortunately, most contracts of employment include a very dangerous statement to the effect that any employee may be sacked if he/she “brings the [organisation/profession] into disrepute.” Devious and dangerous, it has been used against many who refuse to toe the party line at any given time in any given scenario. Devious, dangerous and disgraceful. Professional Associations and lawyers should be onto this injustice.

I agree about the devious clauses in contracts that can be used to support a sacking. Thankfully the doctor hasn’t been sacked yet, just suspended while an investigation is carried out. It sounds like a foregone conclusion, though.
I have just come across this article titled – ‘Bill Gates and his second genocide’. He was/is a big donor to planned parenthood, one way to help reduce the world’s population. Now of course his next step is to use vaccines to increase that reduction (via a faster mode of action).

This is what happened when they rushed through the Swine Flu vaccine, they gave it to health workers first and many were disabled as a result.
It’s a disgrace that this virus is costing so many lives, but not through the virus itself. When will people learn that this is not what we are being told it is?
Reading those two reports about the bad effects and even death caused by these newly produced vaccines, I’m all the more determined not to have it when I’m called. I’ve already had the letter telling me I would be contacted to go for it, even though it is “not a quick fix” and we would still need to keep to the restrictions “for the foreseeable future”.

Well, this morning I received my letter from NHS Scotland giving me an appointment to receive the vaccine. My appointment has been scheduled for 11 February, Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, can you believe!
Hence, with confidence I rang the number on the letter and selected “re-schedule” the appointment from the options, since, strangely, there was no option to cancel. 😀
I was greeted by a very friendly female voice, asking for my preferred appointment date to re-schedule. When I said that I didn’t want to re-schedule but to cancel because I do not want to take the vaccine, she accepted that without any hesitation or attempt to persuade me to change my mind.
So, my prepared firm albeit polite short and sweet speech was not necessary, after all. Deo gratias!
I feel very relieved – contrary to popular opinion, I do not relish battles. I just hope and pray that I’m not put on a “banned” list, prohibited from conducting necessary business because I don’t have a “health passport”.
I’m entrusting that to Our Lady of Lourdes…

My mother got the phone call about it and politely declined. The woman on the other end of the phone accepted that without question. Too many people are rejecting this vaccine so I foresee mandatory vaccination being the next piece of godless legislation.

I heard from a friend this evening who also received her letter today. She definitely doesn’t want it, but her family is pressuring her to take the vaccine.
How come it’s important to allow Euthanasia so that people can make the choice of whether to live or die, based on the “quality of life” argument, but that same argument is cast aside when someone in their older years chooses to live but not take a vaccine? Makes no sense. Seems the “my body, my choice” mantra represents a highly flexible principle.

I sincerely hope your friend doesn’t amke the fatal mistake of allowing herself to be talked into this vaccine by someone else. She should tell the other person to mind their own darn business.

Thankfully, I’ve just heard, she made her own decision and cancelled the appointment. Unlike my own experience, however, she said they wanted to know why. So, it looks like it’s hit and miss, depends on who you encounter on the other end of the phone.

I have just this minute received a message from a friend, informing me of “excellent news from the Council of Europe (CoE) the world’s leading human rights organisation”. It sounds like this news is saying that people should not be forced to take the vaccine or be punished for doing so by restricting them from services. There’s a lot of reading in that link but I skimmed it and found, at 7.3. that your interpretation is correct: below, the relevant extract, addressed to Governments –
7.3 with respect to ensuring high vaccine uptake:
7.3.1 ensure that citizens are informed that the vaccination is NOT mandatory and that no one is politically, socially, or otherwise pressured to get themselves vaccinated, if they do not wish to do so themselves;
7.3.2 ensure that no one is discriminated against for not having been vaccinated, due to possible health risks or not wanting to be vaccinated;
Let’s hope that instruction carries weight, and can be enforced to make sure that rogue Governments (like ours) do not charge ahead with discriminatory action anyway.
