Archbishop Viganò: Is Pope Francis Preparing Us To Accept The Antichrist?
December 23, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò (left), in a new interview with LifeSite, comments on LifeSite’s report that since the first coronavirus lockdown in March, Pope Francis is not anymore using the papal altar in St. Peter’s Basilica for his public Masses, an altar which is situated on top of St. Peter’s tomb. Instead, the Pope is using another altar at the basilica. For Viganò, this papal act is symbolic in light of the fact that Pope Francis himself ordered during the closing Mass of the October 2019 Amazon Synod that a bowl of plants dedicated to the false goddess Pachamama be placed on that very papal altar at St. Peter’s. Not long after that act, the Pope also decided that he would no longer use the title “Vicar of Christ” in the 2020 Vatican Yearbook.
The Italian prelate here finds strong words about the recent developments at St. Peter’s and the Vatican.
“In my opinion,” Viganò writes, “what we are witnessing represents the general rehearsal for the establishment of the kingdom of the Antichrist, which will be preceded by the preaching of the False Prophet, the Precursor of the one who will carry out the final persecution against the Church before Our Lord’s definitive and crushing victory.”
The Italian prelate compares the placing of a Pachamama bowl on the altar with the enthronement of the “Goddess Reason” at Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral during the Terror of the French Revolution in 1793. However, he explains, this time, the profanation of an altar came from within, committed by the highest levels of the hierarchy. “The Bergoglian church is giving itself an increasingly more disconcerting image, in which the negation of Catholic truths is accompanied by the explicit affirmation of an intrinsically anti-Catholic and antichristic ideology, in which the idolatrous cult of pagan divinities – that is, of demons – is no longer hidden, who are propitiated with sacrilegious acts and profanations of holy things.”

He goes on to say that this “presence of an idol of ‘mother earth’ is a direct offense against God and the Most Holy Virgin” and “a tangible sign that explains in a certain sense Bergoglio’s many irreverent utterances with regard to the Blessed Mother.”
Here, the Italian archbishop sees a link to the warnings of Our Lady of Salette from the 19th century. For him it is not surprising “that those who want to demolish the Church of Christ and the Roman Papacy do so from the highest Throne, according to the prophecy of Our Lady at La Salette: ‘Rome will lose the Faith and will become the seat of the Antichrist.’”

Commenting on the fact that Pope Francis removed from his entry in the 2020 Vatican Yearbook the title “Vicar of Christ” – he merely placed it at the end of his entry, under “historic titles” – Viganò states that “whoever refuses to be called Vicar of Christ apparently has the perception that this title does not suit him, or even looks with contempt at the possibility of being the Vicar of the One whom by his words and actions Bergoglio shows that he does not wish to recognize and adore as God.”
All these papal acts taken together are seen by Archbishop Viganò as a development toward apostasy and sacrilege, that is, demon worship. And for him, this development has its beginning at the Second Vatican Council. “I believe,” he explains, “that the premises that have been laid down up to this point – which in good part go back to Vatican II, but also to later events such as the Interreligious Prayer Meeting in Assisi – will inexorably lead in an ever more explicit way towards a ‘profession of apostasy’ by the leaders of the Bergoglian church.”
But Archbishop Viganò also gives us encouragement and strength. He recalls that “the Church does not belong to the Pope, and even less does she belong to a clique of heretics and fornicators that has succeeded in coming to power by deception and fraud.” He continues, by saying:
Therefore, we ought to unite our supernatural faith in the constant action of God in the midst of His people with a work of resistance, as counseled by the Fathers of the Church: Catholics have the duty of opposing the infidelity of their Shepherds, because the obedience that they owe them is aimed at the glory of God and the salvation of souls. We therefore denounce everything that represents a betrayal of the mission of the Shepherds, imploring the Lord to shorten these times of trial. And if one day we are told by Bergoglio that, in order to remain in communion with him, we must perform an act that offends God, we will have further confirmation that he is an impostor, and that as such he has no authority.
It is the archbishop’s hope that this crisis in the Church will open the eyes of many a lukewarm Catholic. He hopes that it will “permit us to see that where Christ the King does not reign, the tyranny of Satan is inevitably established; where Grace does not reign, sin and vice spread; where the Truth is not loved, people end up embracing error and heresy.” Perhaps, he hopes, this crisis will make many people who have difficulty adoring God realize “perhaps they can now understand that without God our life becomes hell.”
Archbishop Viganò concludes this interview with the hopeful words: “And let us pray that we will see the day on which a Pope will return to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice on the Altar of the Confession of Saint Peter, in the rite that Our Lord taught the Apostles and that they handed down intact through the centuries. This will also be a symbol of the restoration of the Papacy and of the Church of Christ.” Source – Lifesitenews…

Comment:
Is Archbishop Vigano’s interpretation of Pope Francis’ actions correct – IS Francis preparing us to accept the Antichrist?
Comments (46)
Archbishop Vigano is wise and intelligent – he has piced these various actions of Pope Francis together in a way that is quite damning for this Pope. There is nothing in the words of Archbishop Vigano that faithfull Catholics can take issue with – it’s pretty obvious by now that Francis is not fit to sit upon the Throne of Peter, he seems absolutely bent on destroying the faith.
I would address Editor’s concluding question slightly differently: I think Pope Francis (who should be called Pope Judas) is actually preparing us to reject the Antichrist – reject, because we (and/or our children) will be able to recognize his agenda, having lived through a less monstrous version of it. Yes, less monstrous, if you can fathom that this current nightmare is a less monstrous version of things to come!
One of the things I’ve learned over the past few years is that God always gives us previews – or types – of the major milestones in salvation history. And I think Francis’ reign – which is, if you think about it, actually a key part of the occult New World Order reign – is without question a preview of the time of the Antichrist. In other words, if Rome is to become the seat of the Antichrist, then we are being given a [bitter] taste of what Rome will look like in that future condition, a Rome that turns darker by the week, rapidly evolving toward the fullness of that hellish future time.
The purpose of being given previews seems obvious: to warn us against what is to come, and to show us how to prepare for it and how to resist it. The video I just posted on the China thread contains more details of the monstrous NWO/Antichrist agenda, including trans-humanism.
RCAVictor
I think I would tend to agree with you on that, and for one major reason: Our Lady has already told us that her Immaculate Heart will triumph and the world will be given a period of peace. Only at the end of that period of peace will Antichrist appear for a short time before the end of the world and the last judgement. Makes perfect sense.
Athanasius,
Yes, Our Lady did say that her Immaculate Heart would triumph but she also said it would be late before the Consecration of Russia would be done and since we’re already going through living in a communist state in all but name, I wonder how much later it can be before that Consecration and that Triumph.
What makes you say that the Antichrist wil appear after that period of peace and not before it?
RCA Victor,
I think my point (commenting on Archbishop Vigano) is that – just as the Governments around the world are preparing us for totalitarian Government, so Francis, whether wittingly or unwittingly, is behaving in such an anti-Christian manner in every which way, that we are being softened up not to notice the slide into the demonic future “Church”.
But just as there are some of us who are fighting the onset of totalitarian, one world government, so there are those who see what Francis is, and will “resist him to his face” to quote St Paul when he reported to the Galatians that he stood up to the first pope because he was blameworthy.
As is Pope Francis – and how!
Editor,
Point taken – it is only a minority who are pushing back against the Covid/totalitarianism right now, and so it will be only a minority resisting the Antichrist IMHO.
Editor,
Yes, this is definitely a softening up, but among the small numbers of those who are aware, I suppose you could describe it as a “hardening up.” Or, to paraphrase the Bible, the “Francis effect” is, for us, a girding of our loins.
Those who react positively to Francis remind me of Beatlemania. I think they’re beyond “softened” – I think they’ve been reduced to a mountain of Jell-O!
One of the most interesting points on the Latest Remnant Video is the Remnant has named Francis as man of the Year .Why was he made Man of the year by the Remnant .Well as you probably know anyhow Ed it is that this Pope has driven more people than any other Pope since Vatican2 into The Traditional Mass and onto sites such as the Remnant Lifesitenews and your own great Catholic Truth Site. Myself of course being one of many who even very early on seen this Mans Agenda .Of course going back to His ” Who am I too Judge Mantra ” I never in all my wildest dreams didn’t realise how Anti Catholic he actually was .So many Catholics are now not being fooled by his absolute False Humility and realise he is Marxist to the core . God Bless Archbishop Vigano and all good Catholic Bishops and Priests, who now don’t just disagree with Francis they oppose his Anti Catholicism .
RCA Victor,
I am not so sure most Catholics will recognise the Antichrist since so many of them don’t recognise the wrong that Pope Francis is doing. They see him as a great pope! I know people who are shocked that I think he’s a bad pope!
Lily,
Good point, and I think it says somewhere that “even the elect will be deceived, if possible.” (I hope I got that right) So at the moment, secular perception is being clouded by fear (i.e. the scam-demic fear-mongering barrage); pious perception is being clouded by papolotry and the gradual slide, since Vatican II, into apostasy.
In fact, if you observe the reaction of crowds to Francis when he visits other countries, these people act like the fan club of a Hollywood actor rather than like Catholics.
As to your other question about timing, I think it is pretty standard teaching that the Antichrist comes after the period of peace.
Here is the relevant passage from St. Matthew 24, 21-25:
[21] For there shall be then great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be. [22] And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. [23] Then if any man shall say to you: Lo here is Christ, or there, do not believe him. [24] For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. [25] Behold I have told it to you, beforehand.
Lily I couldn’t agree more with you .One of my neighbours whom I would say is a good Catholic thinks hes the best Pope in his Lifetime .I say that they want to get off the BBC Etc and onto sites such as this .Just a another little thing .After our Sunday TLMass we were all talking together outside.I went for a short walk with a Friend whom I hadn’t seen since the first Lockdown . He wasnt at the Mass ,and we met another Catholic Woman who was going down to a shop .One of the talking points she said was “They ones who attend that Latin Mass thing ” She had a Mask on I said that I was at The Mass, conversation ended. BTW Their was the full compliment at our TLMass that the Law of the Land allows.Unfortunately their were only 2 of us from our own Parish .I know something for sure that when our TLMass started a few Years ago only 4 of us went to it .Its a much different story now ,I wonder if that’s down to Pope Francis as we all know his views on us rigid Catholics .
Sorry, don’t want to derail the thread but it is the feast of the Holy Innocents today. The slaughter of the unborn continues …
CBucket,
T here was no need to derail this thread – we have a permanent prolife thread on th is blog, so please post anything profile there, in future. Thank you.
This is a really interesting conversation on the Taylor Marshall channel – the topic, is Pope Francis an apostate?
Michaela,
Thanks for posting that video – I took a note of this part, where they say “We have insanity from the top down, nobody was converted by Assisi”.
That’s it! “By their fruits shall ye know them”. Those who say the ecumenical and inter-faith movements are great, need to face the fact that they have not resulted in converts to the true religion. They’ve resulted in Catholics losing the faith.
What can one say of this Man who would be Pope who Scandalises Our Catholic Church ( not his) on a practically Daily Basis . A Man who is most certainly not a Catholic. If indeed he ever was one . Going back a while when an Alter Boy sent him a letter which was published on here . He said ” I was an Alter Boy to and we had Great Fun mixing Latin with Spanish which Confused the Priest saying Mass ” . This letter the Man Who Would Be Pope sent back to the Alter Boy what an Apostate . I myself go to both forms of Mass although I prefer the TLMASS. After Mass as I think I already said on another thread to a Friend that Pope Francis was NOT a Catholic and he looked at me as a Man from Mars . Just a question to ask on The Pachamama Pagan Rituals when 1000s of Pachamama Worshippers came from Brazil. Who was it that Paid for their little Roman Jaunt. ? . God protect our Ignorant Brothers and Sisters who watch nothing but the M.S.M.
Also Francis has as far as I know only Run Down and Criticised Good Catholics. Not Homosexuality not Transgenderism but Catholicism. God Help Us.
“… IS Francis preparing us to accept the Antichrist?”
I would say that he is preparing the great multitudes, who think that the sun shines forth from his nether regions, to accept the Antichrist. Don’t think there are many of those who read your blog, though, editor! (This latter being a positive observation regarding your blog rather than a negative.)
Sir I know not of who or who do not follow this great Site .What I do know is that it has led ME back to the Real Catholic Mass the Mass of my Ancestors which is unchangeable .It was certainly Gods Will ( am sure ) that I came across a Missal presented to my Brother in 1963 which I use at Our Beautiful Latin Mass of which of course I need not tell you am sure that it has never changed .I also hope I live for a long time but we all have to die .I personally have asked our Very Good Priest that I want a real Requiem Mass said when that time comes .That Requiem Mass he has promised will be a Latin one . God Bless .
The article below, should be read by every priest and bishop in the UK – right before they hang their heads in shame…
“The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion.” Edmund Burke, 1784
When are religious leaders going to issue demands to their members? Demands to express a duty to God first; above and beyond the restrictions of the State.
These leaders certainly believe God created humans with the quality of freedom. The Bible irrevocably states it. Therefore, under the cover of COVID, the State cannot remove that freedom.
The religious leaders must order their flocks to rebel.
Not just in order to attend church services; but to live without fear, out in the open, without hiding behind masks, without keeping their distance, without lockdowns, without sacrificing their right to earn a living.
Several Catholic prelates have declared the COVID fraud is being used as a rationale for creating an anti-spiritual new world order.
The next step is telling their Church members and believers to rebel, to choose The Good and God.
Every early story about every religion shows how the State power of the day had to be overcome. Is it now time to develop terminal amnesia about these origins?
Are those stories buried because they are inconvenient?
Quoting from an anonymously written article, “Ancient Christian Martyrdom: A Brief Overview”:
“By 200 [AD], the [Christian] faith had permeated most regions of the Roman Empire, though Christians were mostly in the larger urban areas (Gaul, Lyons, Carthage, Rome). By 325, an estimated 7 million were Christians with as many as 2 million killed for the faith.”
Among the reasons for this vast persecution: “Christian refusal to worship or honor other gods was a source of great contention.”
“Christians were accused of being atheists because of their denial of the other gods and refusal of emperor worship. Thus, they were accused of treason to the state.”
“For many provincial governors, Christians were considered social radicals, rather than being persecuted specifically for their faith only.”
And now, in 2020, the major religious objection to COVID restrictions concerns the number of worshipers allowed inside a church during services?
Is this the evolution of faith, or its destruction, at the hands of the faithful themselves?
Is conscience “outmoded”?
Is civilization now so “advanced” that suffering and even dying for one’s faith is considered absurd?
Is bargaining with the State over whether 10 or 50 members can enter a house of worship the cutting edge of rebellion?
It seems to me people should renounce their religion, if they’re unwilling to go to the wall for it.
Just admit that what true faith requires is too much.
Jesus endured pain and torture, and surrendered his human form, in order to save humanity, but now faithful followers can declare their loyalty during online virtual services. Or from their cars, in a parking lot. Without feeling a tremor of conscience.
Over the years, I’ve heard many claims that America (and other Western nations) were created on the basis of Christian values. Putting aside counter-arguments, if that is the assertion, then where is the courage to back it up?
What good are these claims, if in a great crisis, there is no mass rebellion, out in the open, against the tyrannical State, on behalf of God?
Again, mass rebellion means the refusal to wear masks, the refusal to maintain distancing, the refusal to obey lockdowns or close businesses. It means reclaiming freedom.
But perhaps some people believe God wants obedience to the State. He wants his loyal followers to submit to the lockdowns. He wants worshipers to surrender to an all-encompassing secular new world order, in which citizens will function as pawns in a Brave New World technocracy. He wants the faithful to be stripped of their humanity.
If so, let’s hear THAT argument.
Months ago, I said pastors and priests and other religious leaders should stand up in their houses of worship and confess their lack of courage and resign their positions. Confess they are unworthy to lead congregations. Ask for the most brave to step forward and take over.
That’s a correct course of action.
Why should these religious leaders make superficial distinctions about the limits of rebellion? In order to maintain their non-profit status with the State? In order to keep their flock comfortable?
Jesus: “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
But perhaps, in these enlightened times, people should worship a purported virus, and desert God.

Now, I feel compelled to pass on a suggestion made to me after Mass on Sunday by a friend of Catholic Truth. She reads the blog and has noticed my calls to the likes of Keep Britain Free to organise a protest (or ten) up here, because, although our cousins south of the border have been very good at taking to the streets, not so up here.
The suggestion was that we organise a rosary rally in the same spot where we held our public rosary after publication of Father Dunn’s Open Letter. That public rosary was well attended and the location was good – down at the Clyde, opposite the cathedral but not in a spot to cause problems for shoppers etc. After the rosary, we would have a speaker or a few. Three names were suggested, Athanasius, my unworthy self and A.N. Other (to be confirmed) to do the speaking at the “rally” part of the event.
My first reaction was “not really”: selfish reason – it is not my favourite part of town, especially for parking my car. Long story, don’t ask… That apart, though, there are two more reasons why I’m not, so far, really keen on this idea – but will await blogger-wise responses before I finally make up my mind.
1) We are unlikely to draw a crowd – there are no shops close by, so our attendees would consist of the already converted, those of us who know perfectly well that the removal of our liberty has nothing to do with any virus. Given that most of Scotland (as far as I know) is in the top “tier” – i.e. in full lockdown for the foreseeable future, who, really, would come along to hear us – even Athanasius? He’d normally draw hundreds, if not thousands, but during a full blown lockdown?
2) While I, personally, don’t mind risking being arrested, I’d like to think it would make the front page of (at the very least) The Daily Record, but since we’ve now established, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the media is playing ball with the Government, then my ending up in jail is likely to be ignored. That would transform my being incarcerated from an act of heroism into an insult… I mean, being arrested and jailed is one thing – but ignored? C’mon man!
3) I can’t afford a £10,000 fine.
Over to you lot – should we? Could we? With the Archbishop leading the rosary? What, then?
Editor,
What about adding another dimension to the Rosary Rally – namely, a Eucharistic Procession, led by Father Dunn, while saying the Rosary. That way you would not be limited to one place and you would have more witnesses. Furthermore, once the Procession got underway, you all could unveil some anti-lockdown signs.
(I said Father Dunn because I would be gobsmacked if your Archbishop agreed to this.)
RCA Victor,
I was holding off on the capital letters until the decision had been made and the “ayes” have it!
Getting away with standing in one place praying the rosary and listening to talks would be one thing, touring the city in a Eucharistic Procession, quite another 😀
Let’s wait to see what the others think…
PS – I’ve just been listening to a Newsmax report and commentary on Dr Fauci admitting to his ignorance – apparently he has been “guestimating” all along – including the usefulness of masks etc.
Editor
I had the hardest time trying to get to that blog via the link you provided. Using Firefox, I got a message saying that the website was blocked due to information being sent that is uncertified, by which message I assume they mean they’re censoring Christian content that suggests rebelling against Covid and the lockdowns.
I then tried using Google Chrome and that was worse – I got a child safety warning saying the site was blocked due to potential harmful content for children. When I looked up the categories of what kind of harmful content they might be referring to, knowing that it certainly wouldn’t be the usual kind, there was one heading that said “indoctrination”, which is the only one that fits. You have to laugh at these demons, they indoctrinate children from the earliest age with all kinds of filth and lies and then accuse Christians of the very crime they’re guilty of.
Anyway, I went to my ISP and temporarily disabled child safety settings, then copied and pasted the link to that blog and it worked. There’s nothing remotely unsafe for children or potentially viral there, so it is about censorship of the truth about Covid-19.
That will be Firefox out of the window – swapped for DuckDuckGo!
As regards another public rosary, I tend to agree with your observations. We always get just the usual small crew who presumably say rosaries every day on their own anyway, so I don’t see the point. If it’s to shame the bishops and priests forget it, they are way beyond shaming. If it’s to demonstrate resistance to the State then we’ll probably end up with fines and nothing else achieved. Unless hundreds or thousands of Catholics can be convinced to join a mass rosary rally, which would be great, I don’t see anything to be gained from a handful of us standing outside the Cathedral. It wouldn’t be prudent.
Athanasius,
Firstly, I can get through to the above link, no problem. So, I doubt it will be censorship in this case. Maybe the same “freak” problem I have been having with my Outlook today – which suddenly righted itself after hours of my useless research in an attempt to fix it. Gimme strength.
Secondly, the rosary rally – you’ve concentrated on Part 1 = The Rosary. But, read my comment again and see that YOU are the main player in Part 2 = The Rally. You get to shout your head off about the Marxist Nicola and – if we find any Sassenachs among us – you can have a go at Boris as well.
My own first reaction remains the same – if I’m going to have to do prison time for a crime I didn’t commit (and at one time didn’t exist) then the least I want in return is to be splashed across the front pages of at least one newspaper 😀
I think it is a great idea to have a Public Rosary and Rally. It is time that people really need to be encouraged to join together and openly show their faith. We must make a public stand to show we are for Christ the KIng.
We do have many holy sites in Glasgow. St John Ogilvie was hanged at Glasgow Cross, but that is a very busy junction and would be an easy target for objections for any crowd to assemble there.
The place where we held the Rosary in October opposite St Andrew’s Cathedral is very good. Symbolically, the Cathedral is the heart of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese. I was surprised to speak to a number of people on that occasion who had just been passing and had no prior notice but joined us for the Rosary.
In the above article, it notes the lack of response from Church leaders and no mass rebellion against the tyrannical state. We are just not used to doing these things. I am reluctant to join other protestors because they do not always agree with the issues at stake.
This has to be truly Catholic Action. The speakers have to speak with and inspire courage in the teachings of the Church. On 14th of January we celebrate the feast of the Patron Saint of the Archdiocese, St Mungo, who prayed “Dear Lord, Let Glasgow flourish by the preaching of Thy Word and the praising of Thy Holy Name.” This is the motto of the city. There is very little of that taking place in this city these days, due to the restrictions of this totalitarian government we are living under.
So I repeat, it is time to make a stand. I do not care how many newspapers or other media outlets take notice. Or if we are mocked or jeered at, I just hope that it will be noted by the One who really matters.
Long live, Christ the King!
Littlebellsofgold
I’ll speak at a rosary rally, no problem at all, provided you promise to pay the £10,000 fine I am almost certain to collect for my efforts.
You don’t seriously believe the police are just going to allow what they’ll see as a crowd of dissidents breaking the law, do you? They may turn a blind eye to the recitation of the rosary but they certainly won’t turn a deaf ear to people giving speeches, especially when the entire Archdiocese of Glasgow is in the government’s pocket.
As I said before, if those charged by God fail to lead the flock (bishops and priests) then all we can do is pray privately and hope to reach others via this blog and other websites, such as the Remnant. We simply do not have the numbers or the clout for what you suggest. Besides that, very few Catholics in my experience really care about truth. If they did then they wouldn’t be attending Mass on Saturday instead of Sunday, receiving Holy Communion in the hand, wearing Masks to please Father, etc. You must know how bad it is.
LittleBellsOfGold
I’m guessing your username relates to the Book of Exodus and the story of the building of the tabernacle with the “little bells of the purest gold”. That’s a lovely choice.
Anyway, I admire your zeal, greatly, and I agree that it would be great to have a Rosary Rally in the city centre of Glasgow, which has the motto “Let Glasgow flourish by the preaching of thy word and the praising of thy name”. I do agree.
However, I also see what Athanasius means by it not being prudent.
I’ve thought a lot about this because I agree with Editor and you that we do need some public protests up here, but I also think we need the examples of the saints to draw on.
The example of our own Glasgow saint, John Ogilvie is one to draw on. He went about in disguise, using a false name and profession, so that he could offer Mass during the Reformation when it was illegal for Mass to be offered. He didn’t do so openly, because there would have been no point. Catholics would have lost what little chance they had to attend Mass because the priest would have been quickly imprisoned.
Also, St Thomas More who was famous for keeping silent about his beliefs about the King’s claim to be the spiritual head of the Church in England, again because there would have been no point and he would have been asking for the death penalty which he did his best to avoid. When he was eventually convicted anyway, then he spoke up to defend the pope as head of the Church in England as everywhere else.
For us to do a public rally with speeches in a place where there is not many people around to hear, is really pointless IMHO.
You are right to say that God would hear and he is the one who matters, but he knows our intentions anyway and he knows that we are doing what we can – for one thing, by speaking out on this blog, but I have come to the conclusion that while it might make us feel good by doing what you suggest, I think it would possibly be counter-productive.
I have to be honest and say that not many of us could afford the fines, either, LOL!
I’d like to suggest a special thread to mark the Feast of St Mungo on 14 January where we can be updated on the truth about the Covid virus and give a counter witness to the false information we are being given by the msm.
Editor
I actually did read part 2 but got so caught up in part 1 that I forgot to comment on it. The only hundreds I would draw would be hundreds of police constables piling on to make sure I couldn’t escape arrest. You’re right though about the location, it’s not exactly heaving with passers by, except for those in cars.
The idea is good but it simply isn’t practical.
I’d love to see Athanasius and you speak if I wasn’t on the other side of the pond (and given travel restrictions, it’s highly unlikely at this point…).
Margaret USA et al,
Thank you for your thoughts on the possibility of a Rosary Rally.
Let’s hold it in abeyance for now – not write it off. It’s certainly a possibility, so let’s reflect on the possibility, and pray for guidance.
Margaret USA – if we do organise something, and I do say (or shout!) a few words, you won’t be missing anything, believe me. I’m no orator. Athanasius would be a very different kettle of talk!
What I would demand, and I do mean demand, is that the lovely lady who made the suggestion addresses the troops. Definitely… If I’m going to jail, I want company!
PS if there’s anyone who is reasonably famous reading this who would be willing to address such a gathering, let us know. either here or by contacting me on editor@catholictruthscotland.com
Editor,
I agree – the time isn’t far off when we may have to organise a rally and it will be such a time that a lot more people will be waking up and prepared to protest, as well.
People don’t get it, they don’t understand what is happening. At the moment, they are still at the stage of believing it’s all about “staying safe” from a virus that is harmless to the majority who become infected. It’s crazy that they don’t realise what is going on but that’s because they only watch the mainstream media.
I nominate Michael Matt of The Remnant and Chris Ferrara.
We of course know where our so called Religious Leaders are their as Joe Biden is ,all Living in comfort and getting Fatter by the Day . With Cooks and Servants Etc they need not leave their Palaces . Christ has told us what is in store for them . Maybe am wrong and I stand to be corrected . But when I see an overweight Catholic Bishop or Priest I become suspicious right away. When I see a morbidly obese one it’s a turn off to me as their living to much off of the Fat of the Land Literally. Also why has none of them spoken out against these Mass Numbers. I myself have to go for Blood Tests later on today . Al travel by Bus and am sure just like the last time there will be Mask Exempt people on said Bus . I also will go into Lidls where am sure there is no crowd restrictions as that imposed on our Masses. Also when is ANY Catholic Religious going to talk out about Ivermectin. It ihas a 98 % success rate in treating This Chinese Disease but there is no Money to be made off of it by big Pharmaceutical. Also all of you good people on here get your Family Topped up with Vitamin D . At least it is a boost to the immune system that also is not even to my knowledge been spoken about by Anyone on the M.S.M. You can get 90 Vitamin D High Strength for Approx £1 it may just save Lives . BTW Ed that is a great post and reminds or should remind us of how our Ancestors fought to keep the Faith. God Bless.
FOOF,
I meant to respond to this comment from you when I first saw it but – the rest is history! I don’t know where the time goes.
I just wanted to warn against making a hasty judgment about anyone, including priests and bishops, who are somewhat overweight.
Remember, every biographer of St Thomas Aquinas, the Angelic Doctor, one of the greatest minds in the Church, describes him as “fat”.
In most images, he’s not portrayed that way – I had to search a bit to find this one 😀

I am very pleased indeed to read this Blog. I fully support the sentiments which have been expressed above. Thank you one and all!
John Rayner,
I’m not clear about which sentiments you support – are you for or against the rosary rally? LOL!
And the noose tightens!

Crofterlady,
I went onto YouTube and searched for Anna Brees. Her videos are still there, so I don’t understand that link.
I am an Evangelical, and time is running out! Since the Supreme Court is dominated by Catholics (6 Catholics, 1 Episcopalian/Catholic, 2 Jews) Catholics against the New World Order of communism must cry out and pressure the Supreme Court to hear the voter fraud cases. This may be America’s only hope! Nothing else has worked! Many Evangelical leaders are too afraid to point out we will be under a communist papacy: Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Fauci, Redfield, and others! If Biden is put in office, he will merely be the Pope’s puppet for communism. Satan had a brilliant stratagem: 1) blind Protestants – especially Evangelicals – to push for the appointment of Catholic justices by stressing a conservative “value” (such as abortion) until the Court is dominated by Catholics; 2) then use voter fraud to “elect” a Catholic president who will be the Pope’s puppet to bring Americanism to its knees and bow down to the NWO. O Lord, deliver us from evil!
Your correct in a sense but The Immediate Biden Family I and many others believe including of course the C.C.P. that they are very much in their pockets. Anyone who has watched this farce of an Election know that the Vast Majority of Americans want President Trump ,but of course Democracy is now Kaput. The C.C.P. already have what they wanted off the Man Who Would Be Pope they now have no use for him and will just concentrate on what their good at .Bribing the ones who are now queuing up for their 30 Pieces of Silver. As for your so called Supreme Court I certainly don’t see anything Supreme about it .
I agree. There is nothing supreme about the Supreme Court. And their idea of “justice” is often politically-correct justice. So, what do we do now that the Supreme Court refuses to give the American people justice by hearing the election fraud cases and punish the political mobsters? I guess we must take matters into our own hands…
Karen,
I hope you will be part of the “car caravan” planning to make it to Washington on 6th January – if so, you might come back here with a personal report for us – that would be great. And if you can get something onto YouTube, I can download it to post on the blog.
Over to thee!
Sorry, I don’t have any plans to go to Washington on the 6th. But I’m still praying for God to intervene. He has intervened in American history before, and He can do it again. However, we have become such an apostate nation, He may have rejected us.
Karen,
God has so obviously been working through President Trump that, clearly, He has not rejected you.
It definitely looks very bleak right now; it is just beyond belief that not a single court has agreed to look at the evidence when – as I heard one commentator say, hilariously – even if you are drunk, you can see exactly what is going on here.
We need to just keep praying because without Trump, we’re all going to be in the ruthless grip of Communist China. No question about it.
I apologize for not being clear. I am not saying God has rejected me. I am saying God has rejected us – the US – for being an apostate nation. For example, as an Evangelical, I cannot find a true church in my town. Worldly Evangelicals have kicked the Holy Spirit out of the church and replaced it with the spirit of man – hype. They offer unholy worship to a holy God! And Evangelicals are idolaters! They worship televangelists who preach a false gospel: Joel Osteen, Paula White, Kenneth Copeland, and other false preachers. Morality in the Evangelical churches is at a low. And other wickedness. In sum, America has rejected God’s commandments. We must repent in order for God to deliver us.
Leviticus 26:14-17 warns us:
14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
The chapter concludes with gracious promises of the return of God’s favor to them upon their repentance. Today, we have that same blessed assurance if we repent. If we repent of our national backsliding, then God will restore us to His favor. O America, Repent!

Of the 6 Catholic Justices you mention, two are apostates from the faith and two are Vatican II liberals. In essence then, there are only two truly Catholic Justices – Alito & Thomas. To make matters worse, Pelosi and Biden are apostate Catholics. These are the people leading the war against America and her Christian culture – some by wicked design and others by cowardly compliance. You may take it from a Traditional Catholic that these people use religion to get on but it means nothing to them in supernatural terms.
The Catholic Church has always been the declared enemy of Communism; this is especially demonstrable in the Encyclical Letters of the pre-Vatican II Popes who denounced the ideology as truly evil and subversive of Christian society. Yet today the Church has what appears to be a pro-Communist Pope while at the same time senior Catholic politicians and judges seem to enable Communist China in its bid to subjugate the U.S. This can only be explained by infiltration at every level of the Church, the government and the judiciary. Here’s an example of the kind of thing Pope Francis has been doing secretly at a time when he has overseen his primary title “Vicar of Christ” removed from the Vatican Yearbook. What is this telling us?

Only a direct intervention of God can help President Trump now given the level of corruption. I know many hope that VP Mike Pence will reject the electoral college votes for Biden on January 6th, but that’s a forlorn hope. Despite his fidelity to Trump, Pence is another apostate Catholic and that means he will not stand up for truth and justice when called upon at that moment of national crisis, he’ll back off. This is what apostates do, they either do deals with the devil or they placate him by not putting the lives on the line like the martyrs when it counts.
Just as an aside, Bill Barr is also Catholic and look at the covering up he participated in on behalf of the evil one. You see, the Catholic Church is in great crisis and fake Catholics are everywhere at the highest levels. We also have them here in the UK with politicians such as Jacob Rees Mogg and Iain Duncan Smith. It’s a great tragedy for the world in general, but for us Traditional Catholics in particular. Russia and China have been working towards this day for decades while pretending to be reborn Capitalists. Now they control the globe and it will be completely red once Trump is conned out of his office.
The good news is their reign will be short lived – Our Lady at Quito predicted this and then at Fatima promised the triumph of her Immaculate Heart just when all seems lost. Satan will never win!
Unfortunately, the Evangelical churches have been infiltrated by communism as well. Rick Warren is a communist (he openly acknowledges he learned his church warfare tactics from communists. I agree, only an intervention of God can help President Trump now. We can see the Almighty Hand of God intervening in the affairs of our nation in its early founding, but our Founding Fathers were more pious. We are now an apostate nation. And if we turn our back on God, He will turn His back on us. Sadly, we have turned our back on God…
