Restrictions: Crime Against Humanity: Letter to Scottish Health Secretary…

The following letter was penned by our very own Athanasius aka Martin Blackshaw and sent to the Scottish Government Health Secretary, Jeane Freeman SNP, on 16 February, 2021. After briefly outlining some practical examples of how this past year has adversely affected families, Martin continues…

You will never be able to comprehend the mental and emotional anguish associated with such a nightmare, entirely inflicted by the present irresponsible Government.

If there is one positive aspect to be taken from this madness, however, it is that, being of independent mind, I have spent endless hours researching official outlets for all information relating to the Chinese virus dubbed “SARS-CoV-2” - a dubious designation given that this particular Coronavirus has never been isolated and identified by established scientific method (Koch’s Postulates) anywhere in the world, a fact confirmed recently by the Australian government in response to a Freedom of Information request.

Notwithstanding this false classification of the virus, my God-given common sense suggested to me as far back as March last year that locking down a nation in response to a viral pandemic is as futile as it is unprecedented in human history, not to mention unlawful, which is why responsible governments of the past never considered such an approach to pandemic viruses, especially one that is rated 24th in the list of global threats to health.

The World Health Organisation has recently vindicated that wisdom, declaring lockdowns to be both pointless and counterproductive following the utter failure of the initial 4-month effort which concluded in July 2020 with a destroyed global economy, countless millions of ruined lives and a virus still very much alive and spreading.

Whatever happened to that government mantra “we follow the science”? If you really did follow the science then you would know that on May 11 last year Sir Chris Whitty, England’s Chief Medical Officer, declared from Downing Street that “for most people Covid-19 is harmless”, a declaration that has since been echoed by experts the world over.

You would also know that social distancing and face coverings are science-fiction, not peer-reviewed science  fact, which explains why the virus continues to spread despite these ridiculous classroom innovations. Airborne viruses have a much longer range of inhalation than 2 metres and are not deterred by  silly open-sided face masks. Furthermore, droplets can just as easily enter the body through the eyes.

Another questionable element in this global push to impose Beijing government on the nations is PCR testing. I note that the World Health Organisation has finally downgraded this method of testing as unreliable, citing an unacceptably high number of false positives and stating that it should not be used in future to isolate asymptomatic individuals who are very likely not infected.

Of course, a good many experts said this months ago, pointing out that PCR testing was never intended for use as a diagnostic tool on human beings since it cannot distinguish between a live virus and a dead one. They further pointed out that testing is open to results manipulation depending on how many cycles are used to run samples. Interesting that the voices of these eminent scientists and medical experts were suppressed on social media!

At any rate, this unreliability of PCR testing brings me to Covid-19 mortality and the huge question mark that now hangs over accuracy in the numbering of reported dead, even though it is already relatively low as it stands in terms of global population and very small in comparison with the estimated 70 million people who die in the world every year.

Since my immediate concern is about Scottish deaths, I will restrict my observations to official Scottish Government figures. According to these, 15,000 deaths are insinuated on the government website from a population of 5.5 million, which number equates to a mere 0.27% of the Scottish population – hardly the plague upon us!

I say insinuated because nowhere on the government website is there a declaration of deaths resulting directly from Covid-19. Nor indeed are we told how many of these 15,000 deaths were of people with pre-existing serious underlying health conditions, which, as we know, accounts for most deaths.

Instead, we have the following ambiguous declaration: “6,500 have died who have tested positive for COVID-19 and 8,300 deaths were registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate”. Given what we now know about PCR testing it is quite possible that very few of these people died from Covid-19. Is this why the website is so strangely, perhaps legally, vague in the matter?

Just to emphasise how harmless this virus is for a majority of the world’s healthy citizens, the American Centre for Disease Control (CDC) released the following Covid survival statistics in September last year: Age 0-19 years: 99.99% – Age 20-49 years: 99.98% – Age 50-69 years: 99.5% – Age 70 & over years: 94.6%. These numbers have not altered in the five months since they were published.

English Rose

Now, given that at the height of virus infection in England last year 40% of acute NHS beds were lying empty for the first time in decades, and given that more people are at risk of dying from suspended testing and treatment for genuine life-threatening illnesses, not to mention rising suicides and the mental health impact of Covid lockdowns, I want you to tell me what this is really all about.

Official statistics and declarations do not lie and cannot be written off so easily as “conspiracy theory”. This lockdown business, the psychological manipulation via the media to ensure compliance, the mask and social distancing mandates, the surveillance, the misuse of police, the encouraging of neighbours and children to report perceived rule breakers, etc., these are all classic tactics of Communist totalitarian regimes.

In Scotland, the additional singling out of religion for particular lockdown persecution is further confirmation, if such were required, that our nation is at the mercy of a Communist government with a programme to trample the divine and natural law while suppressing Constitutional civil liberties and human rights through abuse of legislative authority. In effect, it is the realisation of G K Chesterton’s wise observation: “Abolish the God, and the government becomes the God.”

As with all such aggressive atheistic regimes, however, the present Scottish government will pass into infamy, as have historically-similar destructive  regimes whose leaders thought themselves elected to power rather than to serving office.

It is in the very nature of Communists to want to dictate, oppress and destroy because they are unhappy souls who have not the charity or wisdom of God in them. The ideology they serve, while masquerading as caring and progressive, is diabolic in origin and in governance, inevitably resulting in national servitude and misery.

My one consolation at this time is that the SNP is presently tearing itself apart internally, another common feature of Communist regimes, and will soon hopefully disappear completely from the Scottish political landscape, though not without first having destroyed the economy and the lives of millions.

There is also the hope that one day, when this Covid fiasco is finally revealed for what it is, a good number of people will be called to account, at a Nuremburg-type hearing, for what I consider to be one of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against humanity. Whether this happens or not is immaterial for none of us ultimately escapes the far more rigorous justice of God in eternity for our actions in this life.

I will conclude by saying that I would rather take my chances with a real deadly plague than live isolated and oppressed under the present Sturgeon dictatorship. How quickly a few weeks of lockdown “to flatten the curve” turned into a permanent police state with loss of freedom and hope for the population, mirroring life in Red China, North Korea, and the former USSR.  Ends.

Comment:

Thank you, Martin, for writing that first class letter – it speaks for the majority, if not all of us, on this blog.  As a matter of interest, for those who may not know, Jeane Freeman was a leading member of the Communist Party in her youth and the Communist Party is listed as one of her political affiliations on her Wikipedia page.  For now, though, do you agree with Martin that we are living through “one of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against humanity” ?

“…we are living through “one of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against humanity” ?… ”
How could anyone disagree with this statement?
This crime is an obscenity, it dehumanises, defiles, demoralises and destroys ; but too many of its victims out there among the public don’t recognise this and are collaborating in their own humiliation and destruction ; plus, far worse, condemning future generations to a horrible fate.
A superb letter but too true that our sociopathic ministers will never comprehend( or care about) the suffering they’ve inflicted.

      Mary,

It’s the fact that the public ARE, as you say, collaborating in their own destruction, that makes this whole enterprise so terrifying.

I think it’s only going to be when the financial strike comes – when the people realise that they really WILL “own nothing” and be expected to be “happy about it” – slogan of The Great Reset – that the truth will hit home and by then the tyrannical screws will have been tightened to the point of no return. Humanly speaking, that is. God will intervene, but that will be some way down the road, taking account of Our Lady’s remark that the Consecration of Russia will be done but “it will be late.”

Thank you Martin for such a common sense fact based letter. Why we do not have political leadership stating at least all the paragraphs before you talk about Almighty God just amazes me.
An excellent letter and I can not wait to hear the Minister’s response.
I just received my parish newsletter with Archbishop Cushleys “guidance” that we should have no concerns on taking experimental vaccines that are tested on babies who are cut open alive to remove the kidneys ( and other organs) so as to be able to test these vaccines, we live in very dark times.

Thank you for your kind comments. I’m afraid that letter will fall on blind eyes and deaf ears. I received an email reply to my letter from one of Miss Freeman’s minions this morning, the standard format: “thank you for your communication, your ‘Case Number’ is. In other words, I’ll get a letter in about 6 weeks from the same minion reiterating government policy. I know how these people work, the intended recipient of the letter will never actually get to tread it.

Athanasius I sent an Email to my S.N.P.- S. M.P . I think that that is the acronym, as I personally didn’t even know who She was up until then . I suppose for Gender Purposes I should have put She / He on the Email. It was about Ivermectin and why at the very least is We Nippy not telling the Populace to take Vitamin D and Zinc on a Daily Basis as these cost about a Penny a day ( in old Money ) . On YouTube their is a very good Doctor John Campbell who gives updates on this Terrible Chinese Fabricated Disease and who has put out True Figures on the Deaths most of whom ( not all ) were Vitamin D deficient . Am sure I also read a post of your good self who also mentioned Zinc. Going back to my S.N.P.- S.M.P . Her Assistants Assistant Emailed me back on an Automatic Email and said that Following of course The Scottish Government Guidlines they were all working from Home and could not answer me direct as they were extremely busy especially the S.N.P- S.M.P. I wrote them another Email saying that I could understand how busy and how much pressure that they must be under . Also saying that the Work they got through was Marvellous considering that they get at least 10 Weeks Paid Holiday in any given year.

You just describe their normal process, which is to treat the general public like trash. We send important communications to them and they get a minion to write back with a party line. They’re arrogant beyond belief.

        FOOF,

You mention Dr John Campbell frequently, and I have taken your advice, searched for him on YouTube and clicked on the first video to come up. It happened to be about the Covid-19 statistics in the Republic of Ireland.

Dr Campbell is a fully committed believer in the scam. He used all the buzzwords, repeated the propaganda ad nauseam, so really, I’m puzzled at your enthusiasm. He was totally on the Irish Government’s message which, if anything, is harsher than anything the Boris & Nicola Shows has come up with, so far.

        Put it this way, FOOF…

        Your charity is impressive 😀

That’s another fabulous letter from Athanasius. Congratulations!

It is definitely a crime against humanity, what is going on right now in the name of “protecting the NHS” and “saving lives”. As your letter shows, the number of deaths do not justify keeping us all under house arrest indefinitely.

I would love to think your letter will help to turn things around but I’ve become a cynic this past year. Every time I think of them saying lockdown was required for three weeks to “flatten the curve” when they must have known fine well that they were lying. This has all the hallmarks of being well planned and at a very high level.

I say that because the more I think of the way there were the same signs everywhere to enforce social distancing and masks, the more I think it is obvious that this has been planned and is being engineered at a very high level.

There’s no end in sight – every time they hold out a little hope, they quickly pull back. It’s obvious now that the vaccine is not what we were told it would be – the way out of lockdown. I don’t know what’s going on, but it doesn’t give me any hope to learn now that the Scottish Health Secretary is a Communist.

      Josephine,

That this “crisis” has been manufactured and is being engineered by the world’s elite, is beyond doubt. The problem isn’t proving that fact – they are boasting about it on the World Economic Forum website – it’s getting the population (and some politicians) to believe that they mean what they say.

Prince Charles is openly involved in promoting this “reset” of the world in a particular political direction which – if he only truly understands the whole thing – will see off the remaining monarchies, but that’s a separate thread. For now, my point about Charles is that he should not now inherit the throne. He cannot be King given his open espousal of various left-wing causes, notably climate change, The Great Reset etc. Maybe that’s a separate thread, too – one of these days!

Ed that’s a great and True Manuscript of which am 100% sure will not even be read by anyone from this Terrible Marxist Government. As Martin says their are Many N.H.S. Beds lying Empty where people with real Health Issues should be getting treated. I myself as I wrote ( sorry to Repeat myself again) that it took almost 3 Months to get a Face to Face Appointment for Prostate trouble and that was only because my Brother knew a Good Doctor who said to me ” You have to be firm to get by The Rottweilers ” AKA the receptionists . I eventually got a Face to Face and a Scan and am one of the Lucky ones ( Thank God ) as everything was all clear and I got put on the correct Medication for my Prostate as I was getting up 10 to 12 times a night for the Toilet . But how many have not been as fortunate as myself as I read on some other News Site ( most certainly not the BBC –ITV or any M.S.M. as personally I now don’t watch The Rotten Box that now sits idle in the corner, that Cancer is now going to be the next Real Health Issue. As for your assessment of The not so Bonnie Prince Charlie your spot on . As for myself I would go further but am sure I would be Banned for Life . Also as I now don’t have a Car I travel on Buses again of which av said your 10 times more likely to catch this Chinese Fabricated Disease than at Mass. Also I live next to a School where the Children of Key Workers are allowed to attend. I know not how many Kids are at the School but I see plenty of them at Playtime Etc . Also what’s a Key Worker as am sure the Rotten M.Ps and M.S.Ps will all have their Children in school. Of course then theirs the Vaccine and the Loadsamoney to be made off of that when we know that their are tried and trusted Medicines ( especially Ivermectin ) being used widespread in Brazil and India and the Chinese Disease numbers have dropped dramatically. On one other Point Billy Gates Fortune has supposedly risen from $ 106 Billion to $ 130 Billion since this Pandemic began .Gates who was caught short . When asked if He had the Vaccine he said ” Al wait my turn as I don’t want to jump the que ” . We know that something’s not right about all of this and you can practically smell it in Scotland all the way from Beijing.

Like you, I am also a cynic. That letter won’t make a blind bit of difference but at least I’ve done my duty before God and also got a lot off my chest. There’s not a lot more we lowly faithful can do, especially when the Church’s hierarchy right up to the Pope is condoning and promoting the evil. I will simply be brushed aside.

As Josephine and Mary have already said, I’m afraid Athanasius is beating his eloquent head against the wall. These people have well and truly proven that they don’t care about the truth. In fact, the truth is anathema to them, and so it must be suppressed as “disinformation.” What they care about is their own financial security, which would be compromised or destroyed if they dared to contradict the party line.

I’m also afraid that we haven’t seen the real crime against humanity yet. As awful as it sounds, this might be merely the prelude to that, i.e. mandatory deadly vaccinations, a brutal surveillance police state society (society?) modeled on Red China, and of course, the “Great Reset.” This planet will become a living hell if people don’t wake up and do penance.

I agree with both of you on all points. I realise that my letter will probably fall on deaf ears, especially as the recipient is said to be a “former Communist”, but I truly believe that deep down inside these people do have a niggling conscience and I just want to make sure they get no rest from it!!

        Athanasius,

Unless in my hasty reading I’ve missed it, there is nothing on Jeane Freeman’s Wikipedia page to suggest that she is a “former Communist”. I’m not sure if it’s possible to be “affiliated” to the Communist Party without adhering to Communist ideology. Why would anybody want to be publicly “affiliated” to that evil ideology if they had renounced former membership?

      RCA Victor,

I think that everything you mention is already in the mix – having prepared us for a life under totalitarian governance, we are now seeing policies being suggested which allow them to impose vaccines etc. The whole parliamentary system for making laws has ended and we are now being ruled by decree. Anything which is presented to Parliament in the name of Covid just sails through. We’ve had serious surveillance for years now, we are accustomed to being watched.

So, I believe that the UK politicians across the land are guilty now of crimes against humanity – they don’t care, though, what we think.

I don’t just blame the politicians though – I blame the people who are showing their support for this tyranny by wearing their daft masks and observing the social distancing rules. All nonsense. These are measures carefully designed to allow the Government(s) to gauge the mood of the people. Since most are complying, then, as with any bully, the situation will worsen until we are totally demoralised.

I think we’re there now – demoralised. The only real question now is…what’s next?

Once again Athansius has written a comprehensive letter accurately summing up accurately many of the aspects of the official responses to the Covid-19 crisis, a crisis whose effects have been multiplied and expanded into every aspect of our society by politicians.

Here is the text of letter I posted to the First Minister 3 weeks ago. This is my personal response to her letter. I have not yet had a reply.

    “Dear Ms Sturgeon,

Thank you for your letter dated January 2021.
You say that you, and I quote you, “will never be able to thank you, your family and your loved ones, enough”. I neither need nor want your “thanks”. Your “thanks” are entirely inappropriate.
You have passed laws that confine me to staying at home. I am not a volunteer; I am an unwilling prisoner.
We have seen the violent, most depraved and most dangerous terrorists and terrorist supporters such as Anjem Choudary and Abu Hamza walking in our streets while under house arrest, even giving interviews on the radio.
Such liberties are not available to me. Nor does it seem that they will ever be, as lockdown follows lockdown without any discernible consequential effect on the trajectory of the pandemic.
We have unfeasible faith being placed in a vaccine that is untested and whose efficacy, in short and the long term, is unknown, as are the dangers of side-effects.
    Don’t thank me.
You are my jailer, having imprisoned me for crimes as yet uncommitted and you give me no respite, or timescale for release, something that even the worst convict may reasonably expect in a civilised nation.

    Yours sincerely,

      Antoine,

That’s a BRILLIANT letter! Fantastic! Thank you SO much (a) for sending it to the First Minister and (b) for sharing it with us here.

You make first class points, and it’s no surprise that you have not received a reply. What you write is unanswerable and demands only a profound acknowledgment of guilt and an apology. Neither of which you will receive – to state the blankety blank obvious.

Once again – a truly brilliant letter. Thanks a million for posting it.

Your letter is fantastic in that it states the facts clearly to Ms. Sturgeon. I never thought of the freedom that was afforded to terrorists but denied to us, that was a great point. We do what we can together to let these people know that we know what they’re really all about, despite their academy award-winning performances of shared sympathy and empathy when on camera. They are despots, pure and simple.

I notice you were replying to a letter from the First Minister expressing sympathy so I take it you have had a family loss? I don’t mean to pry, but just to say, my sympathy to you.

That’s the sort of thing the journalists should be throwing at her in the mickey mouse press briefings – she would be stumped, for sure. Agree with all comments to date. I have popped in to say a couple of things, briefly.

Firstly, another thank you to Athanasius for taking the time and going to the trouble of composing that informative letter, knowing that he was doing so simply to touch whatever is left of Jeane Freeman’s conscience. Athanasius deserves all due credit (as offered by our great bloggers here) for his hard work in this respect – goodness, he must have written more letters than St Paul by now 😀 And he is still ignored and castigated for his trouble in certain modernist quarters.

Secondly, it is now obvious that the previous claims of “flattening the curve” and vaccine roll-out to get us back to normal were never the true intention. Today’s Lockdown Sceptics makes this clear. And remember as you read the latest impositions on parents that whatever happens in England, comes to Scotland soon thereafter. https://lockdownsceptics.org/

Finally, Jeane Freeman and Covid aside for a moment, Scotland is becoming an extremely ugly and dangerous place to live – check out this link and notice the “Kill a White on Sight” BLM posters which have been found in Caledonia…
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2021/02/17/scotlands-oldest-museum-hires-curator-of-discomfort/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=daily&utm_campaign=20210217

There is an urgent need for good governance to replace the pagan politicians currently in power. They are abusing their power – north and south of the border – and something has to be done about it, asap. Ironically, though, it’s going to take somebody in some kind of power position to take the lead. A major court case could be the catalyst – but – to paraphrase the popular “flowers” song – where have all the lawyers gone?

I’ve cut way back on my hysterical news websites for this penitential season, so not sure about this, but I wonder if BLM, having helped to put their stooge in the White House [basement?], is now concentrating their efforts on your side of the pond.

        RCA Victor,

You may well be right – some manifestation of BLM appeared this week in a local Glasgow newspaper, (The Glasgow Times – a rag, granted). They kindly informed us that our statues are all racist.

They are obviously struggling for traction however, as they have widened their grievance to include colonialism as well as racist, despite there being no necessary link between the two.

I agree with every comment here today – I think both Athanasius letter and Antoine Bisset’s letter, are excellent.

It’s a sad fact that neither of those letters will be likely to move these politicians to end this nightmare. They are obviously benefiting from this nightmare or they wouldn’t be doing it. As others on here have said a few times, there’s big money involved to keep this going. Once we are totally demoralised and obedient no matter what we’re told to do or not do, then they’ll hit our finances

The people in China are not allowed to buy their homes, just lease them. That’s where we are heading and those of us who have already bought out houses will find them taken from us in exchange for paying our bills. I think that’s how it will play out.

I wonder what all the obedient slaves of the state will be saying when that happens? Actually, I think many of them if not everyone, will think that’s a good deal, LOL!

To be honest now, I really can`t fathom out what this plague is. Up until last week I was against the way this glorified Council was running things, I still am, but my nephew and his son and daughter contracted this illness five weeks ago. His family have recovered but he died what his sister described as a terrible death on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. He was never ill, except for a mild asthmatic condition, and was planning a new housing development.

Our parish priest “wasn`t allowed” to give him the blessing of the sick. I told his family to say an act of contrition into his ear.

    I am still heart broken.

      Frankier,

My heartfelt sympathy to you. That’s very sad.

One of my own (teenage) nephews thinks that he had the virus, way back at the very beginning, December 2019, when he suffered what we all thought was a terrible flu. He had it for weeks and he said he really thought he was going to die. It was vicious. He had to be taken to the doctor’s surgery by car but did not see any doctor – a nurse kept the appointment and shrugged it off as a really bad dose of the flu. None of us had any reason to suspect anything else. That diagnosis was a welcome relief.

Thankfully, he recovered but he did say (and his close family testified) that it was a truly horrible illness and he did think that he was going to die.

So, it would be wrong to play down the seriousness of the virus for those who are ill with it, but the fact of the matter is, most people recover from it.

I think we’ve all had very bad doses of flu at some point in our lives, and I still think that providing us with the information that this is yet another virus, truly horrible for those who get it and so we should all take whatever precautions we deem fit, would have been the correct way forward. Not closing down the country and taking away our God-given basic freedoms.

It’s shocking that priests are not being allowed to give the Last Rites (or even the blessing of the sick) to those who, like your nephew, may be close to death, but your advice, to pray an act of contrition into his ear, was a lovely thought and would be efficacious, no doubt; it is consoling, too, that his death occurred on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. If he’s ever said a Hail Mary in his life, then, those words (pray for us now, and at the hour of our death) should – and I’m sure do – console you greatly.

God bless – sincere sympathy to you and your family.

I am truly sorry to hear of your nephew’s death – God rest his soul. I extend my sympathy and prayers for you and your family.

I hope you won’t think this disrespectufl, it’s certainly not meant in that way, but I’m a little perplexed by this term I’ve heard used to describe a number of deaths, reportedly of COVID, as “terrible”.

I lost my young sister to acute lymphoblastic leukaemia back in 2000. Until that illness struck she was a perfectly healthy 28-year old. The illness killed her in a matter of 5 weeks. When they started chemotherapy, which effectively wipes out the immune system, she developed pneumonia which rapidly became double pneumonia affecting both lungs. She was put into an induced coma and placed on a ventilator where she gradually deteriorated to the point where they could no longer supply the lungs with adequate oxygen, at which point the decision had to be made to turn off the ventilator and let nature take its course. She passed away minutes after that machine was switched off and none of her family who were left behind will ever fully recover from that heart-breaking event.

I have particular memories of that day since I chose to spare my mother and siblings the grief of watching her die. I stayed and held her hand, whispering into her ear the act of contrition and reminding her that she had received the last Sacraments of the Church and was clothed in Our Lady’s scapular. They say the hearing is last to go, a mercy of God for this precise reason.

Anyway, her death, although from severe respiratory failure, was peaceful, not terrible like these COVID deaths I’m hearing about. In fact, I feel certain that if her death had been within the past few months they would almost certainly have fabricated it as death by COVID.

Therefore, I wonder: Has your nephew been subject to a post mortem examination to establish the precise cause of his death? The fact that someone says its COVID, given the present hype around that virus, doesn’t actually mean he died of COVID. He may have died of severe flu or other respiratory condition, especially since he was prone to mild asthma. As I say, this is not intended in any disrespectful way, but truly because I’m perplexed by this term “terrible death” associated with COVID. I have no idea what is meant by this.

I do recall the terrible death of a man I came to know many years ago, a young(ish) Irishman who had abandoned his Catholic Faith and had lived an extremely violent life, including murder. He spoke of how God manifested to him the evil of his life, which he changed for the better, but he could never forgive himself and thought the forgiveness of God unlikely in his case.

My brother and I managed to convince him through conversation over many months that God is all merciful to those who are truly sorry for their sins, no matter how evil they may have been, and eventually we brought him to an SSPX priest who heard his general confession and granted him absolution.

The man in question had suffered for a few years from a form of blood cancer, which appeared to be in remission but then resurfaced. He was told that the only option open to him was a non-sibling bone marrow transplant from as near a match as they could find from their bone marrow donor bank. He was advised that the procedure could go horribly wrong but that he had no choice.

He reluctantly accepted the only option he had and was soon transferred to a London hospital for treatment. Before leaving Scotland he made me promise that if the procedure failed I would ensure that an SSPX priest was sent to his bedside to administer the Last Sacraments.

Well, it did go horribly wrong and I honoured my promise. The priest who attended him prior to his death said that when he enetered the room the young man was in agony, his head in particular being very enlarged with swelling, but that his cries of pain abated immediately upon the reception of absolution and the blessing of the priest. He passed away very soon after.

The reason I mention this is that his was a truly “terrible” death in that his body and head were twice their normal size due to swelling. We cannot begin to imagine the pain he must have endured. That’s why I’m curious as to what symptoms in particular are causing certain COVID-claimed deaths to be “terrible”. I really would like to know what these particular symptoms are for reasons other than mere curiosity.

I hope you don’t mind me asking this at a time of great sadness for you and your family. If you would rather not respond then I will understand perfectly.

      God bless

        Athanasius,

I take all of your points on board, and of course, speaking generally, due to the lack of post mortems (one of the first things the SNP did was to stop post mortems), in possibly a majority of cases certified as “Covid”, we cannot be sure of the cause of death. The problem is compounded due to the well- attested facts about the abuse of death certificates. We have had some examples of those posted on this blog, over time. And Dr Malcolm Kendrick has written plenty on the subject on his blog. His latest article is very interesting https://drmalcolmkendrick.org/

The fact, too, that – as you pointed out in your letter to Jeane Freeman – the virus has not been isolated (using Koch’s postulates) complicates things further.

However, there are accounts of patients in hospital who die with Covid, suffering a great deal of pain. I take your point that, of itself, that doesn’t necessarily point to the virus being the cause of death, but it is, by all accounts, a very nasty virus.

I’ve already mentioned my nephew who thinks he had it back in December 2019. Similarly, a cousin tells me that around the same time, back in December, 2019 (or possibly January – certainly before we all knew about “the virus”) he fell ill with what he described as a horrible flu. It became so bad that he felt he had to make an appointment with his doctor, although – he told me – he “felt stupid” going to the doctor with what seemed to be nothing more than a really bad bout of flu, which made him physically sick over and above the usual flu symptoms (my nephew also was physically sick, despite not having eaten for about a fortnight). .

To my cousin’s surprise, the doctor asked him if he’d been to China. He said he had been to China but it was many years ago – he’s now in his eighties. The doctor left that question and answer unexplained.

So, although neither of my relatives were diagnosed with Covid-19 – simply with a dreadful flu – their descriptions do tie in with what others in the NHS have described.

Your sister’s suffering sounds dreadful – and thank God she enjoyed the grace of the Last Sacraments, and your comforting presence at the end. Thank God, too, that she did not have the kind of additional suffering which a virus as vicious as Covid-19 seems to inflict. May she rest in peace.

There’s definitely no question that the powers-that-be are working hard to enhance the statistics – no question whatsoever. They are determined to keep up the fear level in the population and Dr Kendrick’s article which I’ve linked above, gives clues as to how this is being achieved.

And so, there is no doubt that this virus is being used by those same powers-that-be, to accustom us all to a new system of governance – rule by diktat. Communism.

I hope and pray (daily) that I’m wrong about this but with the plans for thee promised strategy for lockdown-exit changing by the hour, and the goalposts for the removal of restrictions moving every half-hour, I fear that we are being kept firmly under control for the foreseeable future – maybe while the elite and their political puppets work out how to break the news to us that since we gave up our God-given freedoms so willingly, they’re just going to keep them, with their profound thanks to us for our understanding.

        God help us – please!

The family cases of suspected COVID tie in with my own experience of the virus back in October, 2019. I remember in particular the nasty cough that seemed to hang on for weeks. Other people spoke of this unusual chestiness and cough and that was long before they told us there was a new virus doing the rounds.

I know that different people seem to be affected in different ways by the virus. My own experience was unpleasant but not the worst illness I’ve suffered. It’s also not as bad as the Asian Flu of the late 1960s early 70s that killed 85,000 in the UK. My entire family went down with that and I was the only one who escaped. I still remember the blood running out of my mother’s ears as she lay in bed unable to eat, but with an insatiable thirst. It’s always a hit and a miss with these terrible viruses as to who gets them worse than others.

        Athanasius,

Those are the points we have consistently been making here – that this virus is nasty but that the majority who become infected, recover from it. We hear that it brings about a painful death in those who suffer in hospital, but the issue of deaths is compounded by the fact that most who die with Covid as the reason given on the death certificate, suffered from other conditions, which are more likely to have been the cause of death.

The Asian flu symptoms sound horrendous and, in the end, as you say, in effect, different people react (and suffer) differently, which is probably true of any and every illness.

And let me add this: at the best of times (way before March 2020), I hated thinking and talking about health issues. I would put off making an appointment with my (very good) doctor to the last minute. He would testify to the fact that when I had to go to hospital for some tests a while back, right up to the (almost) last minute, I tried to get out of going, and he spent time on the phone with me, not pushing me against my will but saying he really thought I ought to take the tests. Health, in other words, has never been my favourite subject. Yet, here I am, day and and day out, talking/writing about it. Drives me nuts! I mean, seriously…

That’s a great article by Dr. McKendrick, he clearly knows how to work on statistics. What he is strongly hinting at is that the governments have been deliberately obscuring figures on COVID-19, using the virus for political purposes. They have departed from every established method of science and medicine in order to conflate and inflate numbers. Disgraceful human specimens, the lot of them.

I have a client organization run by two gentlemen, in their upper 70s and beyond, who are dyed-in-the-wool liberals feeding themselves nothing but what the lying media (NY Times, Wash. Post, CNN, etc) has to offer.

I’ve been trying to warn them of the dangers of vaccines, skipping over the dubious origin of this flu, the PCR test scam, masks, social distancing, etc. I had sent one of them the RFK Jr. video that was posted here, as a good overview. Yesterday I discovered that this fellow, who has been a friend and colleague for years, has now had his two Pfizer shots, and his wife has had one, I think. As he put it, “All is well.”

This morning this same fellow sent me this whitewash about the vaccines:

    https://www.mdvip.com/about-mdvip/blog/understanding-side-effects-new-covid-19-vaccines

I’ve decided that I’m wasting my time trying to un-brainwash these two. Meanwhile, however, they are heavily involved with another organization that helps the homeless locally, and there is a big push on to get all the homeless vaccinated. My response, which I’ve kept to myself, was “Well, that’s one way to eliminate the homeless problem.”

Very interesting, however, was a little nugget contained in one of their meeting notes: there is apparently a need to “establish trust” about the vaccines first! Apparently the homeless are better informed than those who allegedly care about them…

Another response which I’ve kept to myself is to say to my colleague, “Your funeral is not on my bucket list.”

Well done to Athanasius for another great letter.

According to the (2017) link below, Jeanne Freeman says she left the communist party because:

Eventually it felt indulgent to me. The point of politics is to effect change…The point is not just to be self-satisfied about your clever political thoughts

    https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/15255919.citizen-freemans-red-shift-from-communism-to-nationalism-via-a-stint-as-a-labour-special-adviser/

The quote indicates to me that she did not come to realise that Communism is evil; on the contrary she thinks it is “clever”.

Rather it seems that this leopard changed her spots upon realising the openly Communist party was unelectable and that she would have to present a different image to advance in the corridors of power.

In between communism and nationalism, she was for a period a member of the socialist labour party and an adviser to then First Minister Jack McConnell. So she has obviously taken time and care to gradually transform her image. It is worrying that, while political parties have come and gone, communist Freeman has been a constant thread in terms of who wields power at Holyrood.

She also says that communism taught her of the importance of “rigorous thought” and the need to “have an intellectual case” behind your stances. Based on these statements, I conclude that she is a liar as well as a communist – who could ever credibly mention “rigorous thought” and communism in the same sentence?

It has amazed me to discover, over time, just how many of our politicians, both north and south of the border, have been involved with Communism at some point in their lives. Of course you’re right, Jeane Freeman, like those others, hasn’t abandoned her Communist ideology, she has merely adapted and disguised it in order to get on in politics.

I think if truth be told almost all, if not all, SNP politicians are Communists to a greater or lesser extent. The tree is known by its fruit!

Here’s the latest in sneakiness form the Scottish Government – a “consultation” on free speech, deadline Monday, 22nd February

URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED: Speak up for free speech in Scotland

    Dear supporter,

The Scottish Parliament’s Justice Committee is holding an extremely short consultation on the approach to free speech in the Hate Crime Bill.

Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf has put forward four different options for free speech safeguards to be added to the Bill, and there are just a few days to give your views. The deadline is Monday (22 February) at 10am.

The first two options include robust protections for debate on religion, which is important and welcome.

But none of the options give strong enough protection for discussions around sexual orientation and transgender identity. They even propose watering down existing protection in the Bill for speech about sexual orientation. But everyone knows these are hotly-debated issues. It is crucial that freedom to disagree about them is clearly protected in the new ‘stirring up hatred’ offences created by the Bill. Christians have deeply-held beliefs about sexual ethics and behaviour as well as about other religions. Sharing these beliefs should not be at risk of criminalisation.

Please respond to the call for views today, saying that protections for debate on sexual orientation and transgender identity must be closer to the protections on religion.

You can find the call for views here. The four amendment options are here. You can respond by sending a Word document by email to justicecommittee@parliament.scot

You can find ideas for what to say in your response below, but please use your own words.

Please pray that free speech and religious liberty will be upheld in Scotland.

    Yours in Christ,
    Simon Calvert
    Simon Calvert
    Deputy Director (Public Affairs)
    The Christian Institute

    Tips for responding

Email your Word document to: justicecommittee@parliament.scot

In your response, please say (in your own words) that:
•Religious debate must have the additional protection included in options 1 and 2.
•None of the options give enough protection for beliefs around sexual orientation and transgender identity. The freedom of speech protections should be closer to those on religion.
•Watering down the Bill’s protections for discussions around sexual orientation is a mistake.

You could also make two or three of the following points (in your own words):
•Morality and politics are matters on which people can have vigorous debate and may change their minds. Sexual orientation and transgender identity undoubtedly raise moral and political issues. People must be allowed to disagree about these things without fear of prosecution.
•Explicit protection for free speech about transgender identity is essential because it is such a toxic issue. It must not become criminal to use a person’s birth name or pronoun, or to say that someone born a man cannot really become a woman.
•The free speech clauses are essential to preventing people trying to use the new law against their political opponents. Parliament cannot afford to get this wrong.
•The Government’s proposed free speech clause only covers discussion or criticism of “matters relating to” sexual orientation. This is a step down from the current wording of the Bill which specifically protects discussion or criticism of “sexual conduct or practices”.
•Section 12 of the Bill protects the ability to urge people to change their sexual behaviour. This is essential to protect free speech for Christians, for whom changing behaviour is a core belief. Yet the Government wants to delete it.
•The four options offered by the Government are not really options at all when it comes to sexual orientation or transgender identity. They all say the same thing. Yet these are the most controversial aspects. Why are we not being given more options?
•There is a serious risk that politically-motivated complainants will label disagreement as hatred to try to silence their opponents. Police Scotland has said free speech clauses are important to prevent officers being inundated with vexatious reports.
•Under the Bill, a person could face up to seven years in prison for spoken words. This is an extremely serious penalty, so it needs strong safeguards.
•Lord Bracadale’s Independent Review on Hate Crime stressed the need to distinguish between legitimate debate and rabble-rousing. The Bill fails to do this.

So sad you fine folks are indeed living behind the Tartan Curtain. Things are not quite as bad in these increasingly non-United States. A pall has come over the West with these protracted mandates to wear masks, which are seemingly gaining popularity in my corner of the world. More solitary motorists are noted to be wearing masks! Fellow masked citizens walking about will make a wide arc of avoidance around unmasked Yours Truly and my husband and many a scold out there will tell us to keep our distance. Indeed, human charity has grown cold. The Cult of Covid rages on.

      Red Feather,

I’ve seen that a lot – lone drivers (including police offers!) wearing masks while driving. It’s now beyond mad over here. They also do this body swerve nonsense to avoid us, as if an airborne virus is going to pay any attention, LOL!

You are right to call it the Cult of Covid – that’s definitely what it is. You’re lucky in the USA not to have it so bad, but I think under Biden that might change.

      Red Feather,

Life behind the Tartan Curtain is just like life in China – rule by diktat: totalitarianism by any other name. I can’t help pointing out that without Donald Trump the USA will soon be suffering the same fate.

I hope you intend to “unmask” any RINOs within range of your vote, next time there’s an election over there. We all have to contend with political idiots, but those are particularly stupid political idiots 😀

Theresa Rose posted the comments and video below on the Vexatious Vaccine thread, but I think it’s worth posting here, as well.

    1. Excessive policing. 2. Online Censorship. 3. Protest bans. 4. A Digital Coup.

Scary stuff about the collection of information on any giving individual – especially digital information, and that is as yet without the digital chip placed into your body at sometime in the future.
