Covid Lockdowns to Climate Lockdowns…

Comment:

Rowan Dean, of Sky News Australia, shows up the inexcusable ignorance of the UK press for peddling the lie that The Great Reset of the world, planned by the elite at the World Economic Forum (and other outfits with “World” in their titles)  is nothing more than a conspiracy theory.

It’s inexcusable because we can see what  happens when  journalists and reporters fail to  do what they’re  supposed to do, which is to challenge and investigate. Who has challenged the Government’s authoritarian behaviour this past year?  Who has seriously examined the Covid data – apart from our own Athanasius/Martin Blackshaw? I stopped watching the daily press briefings  because the questions were always the same, floor level “challenges”: “When will there be more testing?”  “Why can’t nursing homes have more PPE” and other stuff which could have been asked and answered via email.

As a result of this weak press pack, the populations across the UK have gone along, apparently unthinkingly, believing the Covid propaganda as they appear to believe the climate propaganda.  Which is why it will be a breeze for politicians to keep us under control and locked down, living under ridiculous restrictions, for as long as they choose. They don’t look like dictators, which is why they can’t possibly be dictators… They’re doing all of this dictatorial stuff because they care about us – get it?

So, well done Rowan Dean for calling out the Guardian journalist for her massive and inexcusable ignorance.  There is a growing  awareness of The Great Rest in the population, but it’s no thanks to the media. Word of mouth, online mostly, and information given out at the few public protest rallies here and there, mostly, it seems, in London.

Importantly, Rowan updates us on the World Economic Forum (WEF) plans to mimic the “success” of Covid lockdowns by using them in the pursuit of the climate change agenda.

Is there a bishops anywhere who is going to call out this baloney for what it is?  Not the Bishop of Rome, obviously – he’s now part of the propaganda machine – but what about the other successors of the apostles: do any of them remember Christ’s exhortation to not worry about the environment, that not  even a sparrow falls from a tree to the ground but God the Father knows it and will take care of us, that we are not to spend our lives worrying about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself?

One way or another, we are not going to get our freedoms back for the foreseeable future. That’s been clear for a very long time now. Perhaps you disagree?  Let’s hear it…

That was a great video, with everything condensed yet clearly explained. Rowan Dean did himself proud.

I think it’s been suggested before that the Covid lockdowns will be turned into climate lockdowns, now that we have shown that we are obedient little people who will do what the government tells us to do.

I see that the UK chancellor has extended the furlough scheme until the end of October, so I think that’s more evidence that lockdowns are going to keep on being extended indefinitely.

Joe Biden says it will take a year before the US goes back to normal, but Texas is going back to normal more or less right away.

I wish I could move to Texas, LOL!

      Josephine,

Very interesting about Texas. I hope other States follow suit. If the USA opens up completely soon, it will be much more difficult for the UK politicians to justify clinging on to their “emergency” powers.

Having said that, I’m not convinced that we’ll be coming out of Covid lockdown any time soon – there’s a bit of a way to go before the Climate Change brigade will be ready to take over…

      Josephine,

Joe Biden will be out of office within the year IMHO, so I wouldn’t pay any attention to what he says. The States are opening up now and cancelling the mask mandate, not just Texas, so I wouldn’t pay any attention to what he says.

Kudos to Rowan Dean for putting that Guardian journalist in her place.

I think he’s right about the lockdowns moving onto being climate lockdowns.

As others have said on this blog often, politicians don’t give up powers once they have taken them. Keeping us under strict control has proved to be very easy – I still can’t believe how easy. They’re not going to return us to full freedom, that’s what they mean by “the new normal”, living like the people do in China.

At least the budget yesterday didn’t seem harsh for the majority of us – no tax hikes, so that is something.

I don’t think the majority of people have fallen for the climate hoax so it may not be so easy to get compliance with climate lockdowns as it has been for Covid lockdowns.

At some point, people will have to rebel. This can’t go on forever.

      Laura,

I’m not sure people will rebel at all, ever. There are not many people saying anything, the majority in polls say they are fine with the restrictions and it’s more important to get rid of the virus. They don’t seem to know that you can’t get rid of a virus!

Laura, I agree. When they try the same agenda with climate lockdowns, assets grabs etc., people will rebel. Imagine farmers for starters. It’ll be grim going but ultimately, I don’t think they’ll get away with it.

      Crofterlady,

I agree with you and Laura – I’ve yet to meet anybody who believes the climate change stuff, not a single person. If they don’t let us out of this lockdown soon and back to normal (the old normal!) I think there will be civil unrest, for sure.

I think the Rowan Dean video is excellent and it’s a disgrace that the woman at the Guardian is to out of touch with what is going on that she doesn’t know about the Great Reset. She has made a fool of herself and her newspaper now, so I hope that sees her off.

Excellent rebuttal to the same tired old smear from The Guardian (what are they guarding, anyway?). For couch potatoes who are not accustomed to thinking for themselves, here is the reason why The Guardian issued the smear: Rowan Dean is over the target.

      RCA Victor,

The Guardian is guarding left wing propaganda, LOL!

Where to post this wonderful brave priest’s sermon?

      Crofterlady,

Well the answer to your question is “depends what he’s preaching about – the subject matter.” If it’s about Covid lockdowns becoming Climate lockdowns, you’re in the right place. If it’s about vaccines, you’re in the wrong place. Since it’s the best part of an hour long, I’ll need to watch it later but you can be assured…

It’s fine right here! The above definition of “where to post this…” is really for future reference. Having said that, so much is about Covid and the restrictions these days that it’s more likely than not true to say that wherever you post something these days, is on the button.

Talk about never saying two words when 100 will do ! Over and out!

PS – I’ve just clicked on it to check the title and I sincerely hope that the dramatic music doesn’t continue throughout – if so, I won’t be able to hear it; I really dislike videos where someone is talking against background music. I can never see the point and it signals unnecessary emotionalism, in my view. I hope I’m wrong in wondering about this, but I can’t help wondering… 😀

        Editor,

No, the music didn’t continue through – he’s preaching in a church so there was no background music.

      Crofterlady,

That was a very long sermon and I felt so sorry for the server having to stand all that time. I’ve never seen that before – servers usually sit in the sanctuary during the sermon, so I’m afraid the priest was a bit inconsiderate there.

His sermon was good but I don’t see why you think he was “brave” – he said his cowardice ends here and now etc but not sure in what way. He still says the novus ordo and even when speaking about receiving Holy Communion he said we should make a loud “Amen” to show our belief in the Real Presence. But that is one of the issues with the novus ordo. Nobody says Amen at the old Mass because it is taken for granted that we are receiving Our Lord, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. It was a Protestant belief that each person says Amen and then they are receiving the Body of Christ, if that’s what they believe. That’s not what Catholic believe. So, that’s just one thing which I thought a priest like him would know.

There were good things in the sermon, I agree, but TBH I didn’t think it was outstanding.

I had to search for a Lockdown thread, so I hope it’s OK to post this here. It’s showing that there was a lockdown protest in London today – I think it’s finished now but there were stacks of people there. This is a twitter link with a short video showing the crowds, so I hope it works.

      Nicky,

There’s more on today’s protest at Lockdown Sceptics
      https://lockdownsceptics.org/

Thousands attended, which is fantastic news.
