A Protestant pope.
I say this because one can’t judge Francis’s soul so we don’t know that he is an Atheist unless he says so.
But he behaves like a Protestant but could be agnostic for all we know!

I agree – his words and actions are all Protestant, without exception, Even when he is repeating traditional teaching it’s not with conviction. He throws in something to distance himself from it.
Our Lady said at Fatima that the Consecration of Russia would be done but it would be late. It is surely late now! How much longer do we have to put up with this Protestant Pope.
However, it really isn’t a surprise when you think of the way the ecumenical movement has progressed. It stands to reason that, in the end, only a Protestant Pope would keep the ecumenists happy.

I can see your reasoning – I switch from Protestant to Atheist on a regular basis. Agnostic, I didn’t consider (until now – thank you!)
I always think of him as an apostate Catholic so I imagine that would make him an atheist? As far as I can tell he doesn’t believe in God. He hardly ever even mentions God when he speaks in public and you just need to look at the list of people he’s invited to speak at the health conference to know he has no fear of being judged by God.
I definitely think the painting above his desk would give the biggest offence to God. That is a calculated insult.

I’ve given up trying to work out what this pope is about. He’s definitely not a Catholic, though – and I am finding it harder and harder to stick to the line that he was duly elected and received by the Church so we can’t question his status as pope. I’m not a sedevacantist and I won’t be, thanks to the grace of God but I’m more and more struggling to call him the Pope – put it that way.
Everything in the Lifesitenews video is shocking. I’d heard most of it in other outlets but seeing it all together as stuff that has happened this past month, really left me jaw-dropped.
Francis will have a terrible judgment when he dies, of that there is no doubt. He is easily the worst ever pope in the Church’s history but I think Benedict will also have a tough time at his judgment because when he resigned, he must have known what we would likely be in for.

I sympathise with your thoughts, very much. It’s difficult to understand what this pope is thinking when he says and does the things he says and does. Any child above the age of reason would know that a picture of Jesus should show reverence for Jesus – not Jesus showing reverence for the man who betrayed him and then committed suicide! It’s getting to the point where there’s no use saying “unbelievable” any more because everything this pope does is unbelievable.
I’d say he’s more Protestant than Atheist because he is obviously protesting against the Church’s teaching. He’s with the modernists who don’t know that what the Church teaches comes from God. Even so, I wouldn’t argue with those who plump for “atheist” – he might really be one, who knows.

Neither of them are bothered about their judgment, neither Francis nor Benedict. They have convinced themselves that God is easy going, undemanding and it doesn’t matter that there’s not a scrap of evidence for that in the whole bible. They are in for a shock.
Josephine as far as this Acting Pope ,or Pope Acting is or isn’t am with you 100% He is certainly not ,nor probably ever has been a Catholic. This Man remember witnessed a Eucharistic Miracle before His Own Eyes . When St Thomas said ” Unless I can see the Holes in His Hands and His Feet. Unless I can Put my Hand into His side I refuse to Believe ” we of course know Our Lords words ” Blessed are those who have not seen but will Believe ” Francis to give Him his Apostate Catholic Name. Did See ,yet refuses to Believe. Because if these actions of His are of a Catholic ,who supposedly does Believe, God Help us if we ever get an Apostate Pope worse than this. As for my Beliefs of what He is am 100% certain that the Man is a Marxist at best and a Communist at worst. Just for another little Survey. Can Anyone on Here quote 1 just 1 good thing that this Man has ever said since 2013 concerning Faithful Catholics. I most certainly cannot, but I stand to be corrected. I actually Voted above for the Horrible Judas Painting,for if a Picture Paints a 1000 Words that one spoke 2000 .

I agree about Benedict – he, too, will have to answer questions about his resignation instead of staying to fight the wolves, as he implicitly promised on election.
I don’t know what pigeonhole to put Francis in either. I don’t think he’s an atheist, since he seems to think God will forgive him as another Judas, just as he fantasizes that Judas was forgiven.
I think he could well be a Protestant, or the equivalent of a Protestant, since he redefines Scripture according to his Marxist agenda and despises the Catholic Church.
I think I’ll settle on this: he is (a) an anti-Catholic, (b) a politician, and (c) a preview of the antichrist.
Or, I could just dispense with all that and say “He is Jesuit!” After all, they have their own religion, which is not supernatural, just based on intellectual conceit (at the moderate end of the spectrum, that is. At the other end…well…).
One more thing: given his role as the modern counterpart of Judas, I think Francis needs to be exorcised. We know that Satan entered into Judas just before he carried out the betrayal; I have to wonder whether that is the case here.

I write as one who is suffering from a “Lockdown”. I am amazed that I and all my fellow Catholics were banned from attending Mass today because three people (now there are another two) who have been found to have tested Positive for Coronovirus disease after passing through Western Australia en-route to other destinations and therefore the Premier had to declare a Lockdown until midnight on Monday ,for all theatres, sports grounds, Churches and the like. My consolation was that I could tune in to EWTN on my TV and follow Mass at 6-am from Alabama. I was only “present” there because I made a deliberate effort to tune into that Mass and follow it in spoken prayer just like anyone actually being there in person.
As for the Pope…
I declared him a protestant within days of his elevation to the Papacy.

Some of us spotted a problem as soon as he stepped onto the balcony minus the papal stole – name escapes me at the moment, but it is only worn at that moment, when a pope has just been elected.
Then he asked the crowd to bless him before imparting the papal blessing.
Yes, some of us were onto him from the get-go. And he has not disappointed us, er, so to speak 😀
Perhaps I should add that today is the anniversary of Australian and NewZealand troops landing at Gallipoli 106 years ago at dawn on this day in WW1 and this day is remembered as “ANZAC Day”. It is a solemn anniversary in both Countries. Hence it is a Public Holiday as well as being a Sunday this year. It is regarded as the day when Australia and New Zealand “grew up” as powers in their own right an there is a tight bond between our two counties. We have long had it that citizens of either country were freely allowed from country to country.

Without question that painting is blasphemous, and so it is greatly offensive to God.
Pope Francis is in his mid-eighties, I think, so he is on the way out. You would think that would make him stop and think about his behaviour as pope. We really should pray for him. He’s horrendous.
Francis is just a symptom of a bigger problem in the Church. Since the second Vatican Council, the Church has morphed into a secular humanitarian organization that has opened itself up to condone every evil sin in the world just to appease the people. Holiness and sanctity was thrown out, and worldliness was let in. Our only way forward is to repent; restore our litergy and practice to that of the Church of the past. God help us.
