The above video, albeit less than an hour, is longer than we usually post, but I urge everyone to watch it right through. It is, truly, an education in CIA – Communism in Action…
Witnessing the almost total compliance of the UK population – certainly the Scottish population (there is, at least, some fightback in England, which is where the protest marches have been held, with nothing remotely comparable north of the border) – I wonder how easily we could end up like those poor people in North Korea – totally enslaved. We’re already beautifully programmed to obey the State – it began with “Stay home / Protect the NHS / Save lives”- and it’s working a treat. Below, an extract from commentary about the famous Russian political prisoner, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn – who was big into fighting for freedom after suffering the horrors of the Gulag …
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (1918-2008) was one of the great souls of the twentieth century. A survivor of World War II, cancer, and 11 years in captivity in the Soviet Gulag, he not only survived but went on to expose for the free Western countries what the true nature of the Soviet regime was with his breakout work One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich (1962), as well as In the First Circle (1968),Cancer Ward (1968), and the monumental Gulag Archipelago (three volumes, 1973-78). As the historian and political journalist Richard Brookhiser observed, what Solzhenitsyn taught the West was the word “gulag” and its meaning: that Communism was not the path to freedom but the way of ideological lies, slavery, and violence.
While Solzhenitsyn admired immensely the American founding, considering the Founders’ “original intent” a blueprint for a good society with its defense of the rights of the individual “under God” proclaimed alongside his duties and “the assumption of his constant religious responsibility,” he believed too many Americans had fallen victim to an ersatz notion of happiness pursued apart from the “concepts of good and evil.”
This happiness consisted solely in a negative freedom combined with a materialism that paralleled that of the Marxists. Are plentiful and affordable goods and services a blessing? Yes, but they are not the only blessing to be pursued, and not at any cost. This counter notion, which we now call consumerism, of seeing happiness merely in the availability and possession of goods creates a malaise that “imprint[s] many Western faces with worry and even depression.”
But the problem with false notions of happiness doesn’t limit itself to Westerners’ feelings. It paralyzes them by making them risk averse. Western “well-being” had the effect of making fighting for freedom at home and abroad seem not worth the effort…
What then ought we to do with our freedom? The answer is to reject these enemies, first and foremost by seeking out the truth about happiness, liberty, equality, law, and rights – all of which are gifts of God. “Truth eludes us if we do not concentrate our attention totally on its pursuit,” said Solzhenitsyn. But we then need to speak the truth, courageously refusing to be intimidated into lying or agreeing with lies. Third, we need to freely act on the truth, doing our duties and going beyond them in charity. When we do that, we will see why God gave us liberty in the first place: to make us extraordinary: “[Liberty]’s old function was to render possible the emergence of values. Liberty pointed the way to virtue and heroism. That is what you have forgotten.”

Reflect… We have almost total compliance with the Covid restrictions to date; the news/flow of information is clearly controlled by the State; no dissenting scientists are given a fair hearing and there is no serious questioning of the virus and vaccination propaganda from any public broadcaster. On that basis, then, how long, thinkest thou, might it take for the populations of the UK to end up in the kind of totally enslaved lifestyle experienced by the people in North Korea?

If there was anything worse than Communism, I think Our Lady would have mentioned it and not focused totally on that godless system of government.
That woman wouldn’t get 2 years in jail for not agreeing with transgenderism – she’d be thrown into a labour camp and spend the rest of her life there! That video shows what life under Communism is really like.

As MM says, and I agree, totally, I think if you take the time to watch the video in the introduction, you’ll see that what is a heck of a lot worse than a few years in a UK prison for a “WOKE” crime, is ten years to life in a North Korean labour camp. Trust me on this!

It must give the likes of Nicola Sturgeon encouragement to impose her draconian rules on us, when she sees how much Kim Jong Un gets away with. It’s as simple as that. These Communist dictators live a life of Reilly while making their people’s lives miserable. It’s a disgrace and what is also a disgrace is that nobody is doing anything about it.
Where is Pope Francis in all this? He’s not slow to speak out about human rights when it suits him, so what about the NK people? I might have missed it, but I can’t recall him saying anything about Christians being sent to labour camps which is where any Christian found practising their faith is sent in NK.

I have watched the video and it is chilling in the extreme. That’s why I’m so surprised at the other comments here – I may be wrong, but it doesn’t look to me like anyone else has watched it. Nobody could watch that video and not be totally horrified, unless they don’t think living a micromanaged life is any big deal.
Watching the way the people are programmed from their earliest years, even kept in school during the early years, not allowed home, to make sure they are under the state’s total control and completely brainwashed is incredible.
At one time I’d have thought it was impossible for that to happen here, but now I think differently. I do think the Scottish population would take to micromanaged living in a heartbeat and, what is more, they would like it that way. What they won’t like is being thrown in a labour camp for the slightest criticism of the “dear leader” or anything else, but by then it’ll be too late.

Your final paragraph is on the button – at one time I’d have laughed at the idea that the population of Scotland would allow itself to be ruled by decree, but no longer. Those who have lived in totalitarian states – such as Alexandr Solzhenitsyn, the well known Russian dissident who survived the labour camps and wrote a book to expose the barbarism therein – have lifted the veil on the truth about Communist dictatorships. He exposed, in other words, the hardship and terror of living under a Communist regime.
Importantly, Solzhenitsyn points out that the tyranny was able to take root because the people failed to comprehend that a Government can turn rogue. That, and the failure to love our freedom enough, is what allows totalitarian regimes to destroy the lives of whole nations of peoples.
It is that chilling reality which the video in the introduction allows us to glimpse.
To answer the headline question – yes, definitely this is where Covid-compliance is leading us, right into a life of slavery in the New World Order, the godless Communist nightmare that we already see in North Korea.
It’s actually very dangerous to visit North Korea – you can be thrown in jail for the slightest infringement of their evil laws, even during a holiday. It’s a barbaric regime, totally barbaric. The video is very good in showing the reality of life in that evil country and how the tourist people try to cover it up for visitors.

I don’t doubt for a single second that the population of Scotland would meekly go along with further tyranny – I absolutely don’t.
We already know that spying on neighbours (which happens in Communist countries) is already going on here, so once the next phase of this is in place, i.e. the climate “emergency” powers that they will take to follow on from the Covid emergency, then we will be more and more into the strict Communism we see in North Korea.
I watched the video with disbelief that people in power could be so brutal to their fellow citizens. I felt so sad for the poor ordinary people. God will punish the evil politicians and their puppets for inflicting such pain and taking away people’s liberty.
I can’t imagine why anyone would want to spend a holiday in that evil place.

Nor do I doubt that for a single second. We’re already seeing that meekness, that blind obedience which leads to enslavement, in the people around us, the mask wearing etc. Unbelievable.
Unless we are sent a pope who will obey Our Lady’s instruction to consecrate Russia as detailed by her in the Fatima apparitions, we’re going to see ourselves engulfed by the kind of governance evident in China and North Korea. There’s no doubt about it.

I wouldn’t have said that in February 2020 but since March 2020, watching the blind obedience of the whole of the country, has been staggering. Nobody thinks that we have a rogue government, or set of governments across Britain, they actually think the government cares for us, LOL! That’s what the people of North Korea think about Kim Jong Un ! They really believe they are living in the best country in the world and that their “Dear Leader” looks after them, LOL! So, yes, definitely we are heading like a bunch of lemmings, towards the same system of living under permanent totalitarianism.
I’m not sure how long it would take, however, it could be that the virus crisis will pass into the climate crisis and over a couple of years the screws would tighten. But unless the Pope and Bishops consecrate Russia as Our Lady asked in 1917, then we are definitely going to be living under the evil of Communist tyranny.

I haven’t had a chance to watch the video yet but let’s just put the pieces in place.
1. Evidence is emerging that Dr. Fauci was funding dangerous disease research in Wuhan prior to the outbreak, which subsequently escaped (?) and spread across the globe.
2. The head of the World Health Organisation is an Ethiopian Marxist who covered for China when the virus got loose. Trump was on to it and cut funding to the WHO. He was also calling out China for its part, so they rigged the election in November to get rid of Trump and replace him with a Socialist President and a Marxist Vice President. Biden’s dirty contacts with China are well known.
3. A Psychological terror campaign was unleashed by the world’s left wing governments upon their own populations with the help of the left wing media, including social media. At the same time eminent medical, scientific and legal opposition voices were deliberately silenced and their writings suppressed (another Communist tactic).
4. Full blown totalitarianism was globally coordinated and imposed in all Socialist countries and Socialist U.S. States simultaneously, with religious practice being singled out for particularly harsh treatment (clear Communism).
5. Dangerous experimental vaccines are now being imposed across the globe using various coersive measures to ensure compliance (the normal method in Communist countries). One of the most common adverse reactions reported thus far in the U.S., apart from thousands of deaths, is miscarriage and infertility. This latter is Bill Gates’ population reduction by proxy. It’s also closely linked with China’s one child policy.
6. Using the police against the people while pretending it’s for the good of the people is a classic Communist tactic.
Yes, it is our worst nightmare – Communist totalitarianism replacing democracy in the once-free nations of the West under the pretext of a health emergency which the official facts demonstrate does not exist.
Sadly most people don’t research the facts, rather relying on their government and the media for truth. Even after 15 months of lost freedom and 3 waves of virus outbreak (science fiction), they still refuse to believe what is right before their eyes, which is that China is taking control of everything through its links with Gates, Davos, the WHO and treacherous Socialist politicians in almost every country. North Korea does China’s bidding and that gives us an insight into what the Communist Chinese are really like and what they are presently establishing across the globe unopposed.

I hope so, because everything that we know about Communism in theory (the brainwashing, the terror) is what those poor souls are suffering on a daily basis in North Korea. It’s incredible.
One other thing that is incredible is the way one of the tourists in the group keeps making excuses for the North Korean system of governance. It’s incredible. Brought home to me that the compliance which we are witnessing today through the Covid scam, is precisely the kind of blind obedience that invites tyranny.

That video in your link, is over two hours long – I’d need to find it on YouTube, put my feet up with a box of popcorn and stay up half the night to view. Just checked and it’s not available on YouTube. Given the title, hardly surprising!
At my age, anyway, I tend to restrict my viewing to twenty minute slots. I am getting more and more like the elderly lady I heard about a few years back, from a friend. She was in her 90’s (the elderly lady not my friend 😀 ) and she was being pressed by a young insurance representative by one of his Company’s products. She refused his insurance plans maturing in 15 years, 10 years, 5 years, at which point she said: “Young man, I don’t even buy bananas unless they’re ripe!”

I’ve just finished watching that video – a bit of a slog but very educational.
The one thing that stood out above all is the control of the people, who are brainwashed via the media into willing acceptance of their slavery. I recognised the method immediately as exactly the same as in the COVID-19 programme being rolled out across the Western world, as well as in the excessive surveillance of the masses. That’s why Eastern European migrants in all Western nations, who had previously lived under Communist totalitarianism, were warning the people of their adopted countries when the COVID scam was first launched. They had seen it all before and knew exactly what was happening in the West and what is coming next.
Watching those big empty roads with no cars – the people lining up in massive queues to be transported to and from work on ramshackle buses – brought to mind what that Davos spokeman recently declared so arrogantly before the peoples of the West: “you will own nothing and you will be happy”.
I can still hardly believe that so many people have bought into the COVID propaganda and are literally signing away their freedom and the future to these Communist elitists. So many obedient sheep and they’re all headed to the slaughterhouse!

Absolutely spot on. Also, thanks for reminding us about the Eastern European migrants who have previously lived under Communist regimes (such as the Protestant minister from Poland who now lives in Canada, and who expelled the police from his church, calling them “Nazi Gestapo Psychopaths” – he’s still being persecuted by the police).
What we are going through right now, is definitely not going to end soon – certainly not on 21 June but we can discuss why that is, in the next thread. Watch (that) space 😀

On your last point, I note from the Daily Mail that Tory MPs are up in arms because Matt Hancock has suggested that he’s open to a two-week delay in the government promise to lift all restrictions by June 21. He should be in prison yet he’s still full of arrogance going about his Dr. Mengele business. Someone’s controlling Hancock.
As an aside, I noticed another story in the Daily Mail, confirmation by the Facebook Vice President for Global Policy that Donald Trump is banned for two years “for crossing a red line by inciting violence at the Capitol”.
Guess who has weaseled his way into that particular VP job? None other than Nick Clegg, the former leader of the Lib Dems.
You have to laugh, Clegg, a failed politician and a man who supports the murder of innocents in the womb, declares on a successful pro-life President like Trump, daring to say he was the one inciting violence. Talk about the loonies having taken over the asylum? Of course Clegg will be a top Mason and we already know he’s a cultural Marxist, which is why Facebook gave him the job.
I’m still in the middle of the video, but 2 things struck me (besides the unparalleled regimentation of life): no one, but no one, is wearing masks! Two, the building behind the 15-meter statue of “the eternal president” reminded me very much of the newer building on the plaza at Fatima.

Well said – the whole video is an eye-opener. I am still stunned at the way the people just accept their way of life as normal. Indeed, they actually do believe that “North Korea is the best country on earth” in which to live. If I could go back in time to my student days, I would study Brainwashing. It obviously works and I would just love to try it on the Bishops of the world – get them to recite the Catechism of the Council of Trent morning, noon and night!
The poor people of North Korea need rescuing. Where are all the human rights activists? I was shocked watching that video and then I was extremely shocked to see this one, but I hesitated about posting it because it contains a mild (IMHO) crudity. I was amazed to find this video (it’s only about a minute long) reporting that Kim Jong Un had his own uncle executed! This happened seven years ago but there was a mass execution of people recently in March 2021 ! I didn’t want to depress everyone too much, so I’ll not post it, but this is a terrible country – it would be more like living in a prison than a country, IMHO. We should pray for the poor people of North Korea.

I would have visited every country in the world, too, if I could have, but I live in such a free nation the only people our dear leader Biden (who also needs empty cities, thousands of troops, and nuclear weapons to stay in power) allows to cross the borders are illegal aliens who show no papers and take no swabs in their noses or backsides, and are promptly shuttled onto the do-fly list planes with envelopes of cash.
I thought the woman who went on the trip to learn about her father is the symbol of the nation who is searching for its heavenly Father but which has created a false religion of idol worship. I remember the account of the martyrs who died under tortures rather than burn one speck of incense to the pagan demons while these lucky tourists complied in laying bouquets of flowers beneath the statue of a dead man. In the U.K. a likewise false religion has the government advocating public clapping for dead men and kneeling for the public martyrs. The imaginary history of war of Kim’s birthplace harassed by guerillas when they visit the cabin was pointed out to be completely fake, but it was a perfect archetype for the population to believe. I was reminded of the U.S. Marines ambushed all the way to Pyongyang in sub-freezing weather during the war.
